Play as Doombox

Play as the final boss!

How to

I didn't see a guide on this yet, so I figured I'd make one. It is possible to play as the final boss, Doombox.

In order to play as Doombox, you must select these characters in this exact order:

Sonata>Raptor>Switch>Candyman>Raptor>Dice>Latch

Upon selecting Latch, your character icon will now show up as a question mark (as if you chose random). This means it has worked.

*Please note that you can not play as Doombox in online matches. However, you can use him in challange mode.

Character Overview

Doombox is different from the other characters in several ways:

• The obvious difference is his larger size and hitbox
  
• He has a bunt, but it is very hard to land a hit
  
• His taunt is a roar (similair to when using his special)
  
• By holding down jump he can fly. Flight can be controlled with arrow keys

Other than these main differences he plays mainly how you'd expect him to.

Reasons to

Other than the fact that playing as a giant robot boombox is amazing, there is some benefits to playing Doombox.

• He is significantly stronger than the other characters, so he can be used to quickly beat challenge mode and help you level up.
  
• Assuming you have at least some skill in the game he can be used to easily get the "Doombox Slam Dunk" achievment

I haven't beaten challenge mode and it still works.

Guys, it works for me. :\ Make sure you're inputting the code before selecting anybody? And that you're selecting Switch as your third character, not Sonata a second time.

If this thing is outdated, can someone post updated information on how to properly work the code? i have tried selecting those characters in that order 5 times even after beeing Doombox, but nothing worked.

Haven't completed challenge mode a single time and it worked for me. Selected the above named characters in a single selection screen and the '?' appeared on first try.
