A Guide to Amber Bricks

Unlocking each of the dinosaurs!

This gets you two Achievements: "The Legacy of John Hammond" and "Bingo! Dino DNA!"

Jurassic Park

The Jurassic Park story mode has 5 Dinosaurs you can get.

1. Gallimimus

Dinosaur: Gallimimus

Level: Prologue - Dig Site

Necessary Characters: Any character that can light up dark places (Timmy, Ian )

Where: There is a small dark cave just before the place where you build the ground-shaking radar machine.

How: Just use the character that can light up dark places to go inside and get it.

2. Triceratops

Dinosaur: Triceratops

Level: "Welcome to Jurassic Park," Part 2 (Triceratops Recovery)

Necessary Characters: Triceratops (Given to you by the game during Story Mode) or any charging dino

Where: Look for a breakable wall (with gold light coming out of it) in back of the very last part of the Triceratops pen.

How: Use the Triceratops to ram it during Story mode OR use a charging dinosaur during free play

3. Dilophosaurus

Dinosaur: Dilophosaurus

Level: Park Shutdown Part 3 (the T-Rex Chase)

Necessary Characters: N/A

Where: . While being chased, go to the far-left side of the road and stay there

How: Just drive on the far left side of the road and you will eventually hit the amber brick

4. Velociraptor

Dinosaur: Velociraptor

Level: Restoring Power (Part 2 - Maintenance Shed )

Necessary Characters: Ellie, Eric, or another Poop-Diving character

Where: . Bottom of the stairs, turn right. There will be a pile of poop there.

How: Dig into the poop with the character

5. Tyrannosaurus Rex

Dinosaur: Tyrannosaurus Rex

Level: Visitor Center (Part 2 - Control Room)

Necessary Characters: Lex Murphy, Kelly Malcom, or other Screaming character

Where: Far left side of the room is a blue-white glass panel that can be broken

How: Scream to break the glass and release the Amber Brick

Jurassic Park 2

Jurassic Park 2 also has 5 dinosaurs you can recover

6. Stegosaurus

Dinosaur: Stegosaurus

Level: Isla Sorna (Part 3 - Stegosaurus Herd)

Necessary Characters: Either a Charging Dino, or the Adult Stegosaurus boss fight

Where: . There will be two boulders (Left and bottom of screen) and one log (right of screen) you smash into OR lure the adult stegosaurus into hitting them

How: Smash the boulders/log with a charging dinosaur, OR lure the adult stegosaurus to each one and wait for it to pound the ground with its tail. This works as well, though is a bit more dangerous for you (possible in story mode)

7. Composagnathus

Dinosaur: Composagnathus

Level: Ingen Arrival (Part 2 - Mobile Lab)

Necessary Characters: Any character, I think (maybe agility character)

Where: . On top of the mobile lab

How: Jump up the front of the mobile lab (while it's hanging over the cliff) once on top, you should jump right onto the brick

8. Parasaurolophus

Dinosaur: Parasaurolophus

Level: The Hunted (Part 2 - The Long Grass)

Necessary Characters: A poop diving character and a photography character (all should be available during Story Mode )

Where: . N/A

How: Save all 5 characters that need rescuing throughout the level ( 1st is to rescue from a dinosaur, 2nd is to take photos of the attacking raptor, 3rd and 4th are to poop-dive and build an ice cream truck to distract the raptors, 5th is to take pictures again. )

9. Apatosaurus

Dinosaur: Apatosaurus

Level: Communications Center(Part 1 - Compound)

Necessary Characters: Velociraptor, Electricity Shooting Character (like Barry)

Where: Just by the dark room with the 'Garage' sign above it, past the poop

How: There will be a patch of earth for the Velociraptor to track, and it will lead you to a dig spot. Dig it up and build the loose pieces to get a blue target. Shoot the target with the electricity-shooting Character. ONce the garage sign is lit up, shoot it. The Amber brick will fall down

10. Brachiosaurus

Dinosaur: Brachiosaurus

Level: San Diego (Part 1 - San Diego Docks)

Necessary Characters: A character that can light up dark places (Ian Malcom or Timmy, etc)

Where: . On the ship, there will be a dark box between the cage and the cargo hold

How: Use the character to walk into the box and fetch the brick

Jurassic Park 3

Jurassic Park 3 also adds 5 dinosaurs

11. Corythosaurus

Dinosaur: Corythosaurus

Level: Landing Site (Part 1 - The Landing Site )

Necessary Characters: Agility Character (Sarah Harding, etc)

Where: . Hovering by the non-Lego radio tower

How: Have the character run and jump onto the blue-pink bricks, then immediatley jump right to hit the Amber Brick

12. Baryonx

Dinosaur: Baryonyx

Level: The Spinosaurus ( Part 2 - The Crash Site)

Necessary Characters: A Poop Diving character (Sarah Harding, etc), Velociraptor

Where: . In a small clearing with part of the plane (crashed straight up)

How: Dive into the poop to get pieces to build a rail, and use the Velociraptor to jump up and grab it. Hop onto the platform above that to get the Brick.

13. Troodon

Dinosaur: Troodon

Level: Breeding Facility ( Part 1 - InGen Facility)

Necessary Characters: Agility Character (Sarah Harding, Etc)

Where: . Very first room of the Facility

How: Use the jumping character to leap onto a desk in the far right of the room. It has a computer monitor on top. From there, jump and grab a rail. Follow the zig-zag rafter path until you reach a ladder. If you climb the ladder, you will find the Brick on the roof all the way back, to the right in a little gazebo like thing

14. Pteranodon

Dinosaur: Pteranodon

Level: Eric Kirby (Part 2 - THe Coast )

Necessary Characters: Billy (parachute is necessary ), Agility character, Lasso character (Note: Some versions of the game requires a Velociraptor instead of a Lasso character)

Where: . In a crate across a gap

How: After the Compys attack by the plateau, walk to the left ledge and a red and white Marker appears. Parachute across the gap. You'll need an Agility Character to get over the fence, and then a Lassoing character to open the InGen crate (or a Velociraptor, if your game has that version instead)

15. Spinosaurus

Dinosaur: Spinosaurus

Level: The Bird Cage (Part 2 - Pteranodon Nests)

Necessary Characters: Ellie (watering can), Climber (Billy or Owen)

Where: . Up on a roof

How: Walk to the right through the fenced in corridor until you find a yellow crate and a water-able plant (where the Pteranodon attacks in Story mode). Use Elliie to water the plant, and it'll grow a bouncing pad. Use that to reach the catwalk (this is frustrating but possible). Switch to a climbing character and keep going left until you reach the Brick

Jurassic World

Jurassic World adds 5 Dinosaurs

16. Pachycephalosaurus

Dinosaur: Pachycephalosaurus

Level: Welcome to Jurassic World ( Part 3 - Indominus Paddock )

Necessary Characters: Need a Supervisor character who can access the panel (Supervisor Nick is provided during Story Mode)

Where: . The Brick is in a very obvious cage in the center of the paddock.

How: To the left of the cage is a scanner. Use it to open the cage

17. Anklyosaurus

Dinosaur: Anklyosaurus

Level: Gyrosphere Valley (Part 1 - Gyrosphere Escape )

Necessary Characters: N/A

Where: . There will be 3 ramps, going up the 3rd one will reach the brick

How: This one is tricky. The camera pans during thechase to different angles. When it reaches the point you are moving to the right, there should be some earth ramps on the far side. Go up the third one and jump your Gyrosphere over the gap to hit the Brick

18. Indominus Rex

Dinosaur: Indominus Rex

Level: Out of Bounds ( Part 2 - Indominus Escape )

Necessary Characters: Any gun-using character

Where: . After the giant chainsaw, look for hanging blue and purple flowers

How: Shoot all 3 targets on all 3 flowers, and the brick will appear

19. Dimorphodon

Dinosaur: Dimorphodon

Level: Under Attack (Part 1 - Main Street )

Necessary Characters: Agility Character (Provided in Story Mode)

Where: . Tiny little store with "Clothes!' Sign on it

How: Go left off Main Street down the side walk. Use the acrobat ability to go across the electrified water after the wall side falls and look for the small store with the "Clothes!" Sign. It should have a pink and blue agility bar you can vault under. The brick is inside

20. Mosasaurus

Dinosaur: Mosasaurus

Level: Main Street Showdown ( Part 1 - Innovation Center )

Necessary Characters: Hacker Character (Lex, etc), Camouflage character (Owen, Eric Kirby), InGen hand scanner character

Where: . Main room, bottom floor, far left side has a hidden room (pretty much exactly to your left when you start the level)

How: Use a hacker on the security terminal to reach a hidden room. Enter the "EXtraction Lab', and switch to the Camouflage character. Sneak past the camera into a small side room, then switch to the character than can access InGen hand scanners. A cabinet will open, and the Brick will fall out
