Weapons
The AI is able to use the GEP gun's tracking feature if playing on realistic. (As of patch 1.0.1.2)

If playing on unrealistic mode then the AI has a 25% (I think) chance to get a crowbar or sword instead if they are carrying a combat knife.

It looks like if you are playing on unrealistic then animals can have items and weapons.
Items including:
  • Soy Food
  • Candybar
  • Sodacan
  • Medkit
  • Zyme
  • Cigarettes

In unrealistic mode, all enemies seem to get a random item, as long as they had one previously. If they had one before then they can get:
  • GEP Gun - if they didn't have a powerful weapon before e.g. an assault gun/shotgun, a heavy weapon, or were a robot.
  • Dragon ammo if they didn't have a weapon
  • 20mm HE ammo
  • WP rockets
  • Pepper gun
  • PS20
  • Flare darts
  • Throwing knives
  • Flamethrower (if they didn't have a powerful weapon) otherwise:
  • Prod
  • Explosive 10mm ammo
  • LAW (if they didn't have a powerful weapon)
    If they didn't have a weapon they have a chance of getting:
  • Sawed off shotgun
  • Pistol
    If they are a MiB or WiB they can also have:
  • All weapon mods
  • Aug upgrade canisters
  • Poison knives
  • WP grenades

If the difficulty is higher than or equal to hard then the AI is allowed to use alternate types of ammo.

If an NPC searches for and finds a weapon on the ground or on a body they will pick it up. In unrealistic mode, this apparently includes non-humans.

It sounds like maybe if you disable a robot you can steal its gun on unrealistic?

Uhh, pigeons turn into rats when they die in unrealistic mode, if they're not in water and their health is over -100.

Pistol ammo may be explosive on unrealistic mode for NPCs.

In Biomod & Shifter, in unrealistic, dodging is allowed. I have no idea what this means but it's allowed.

Clearly you already figured it out but I confirmed for myself that dodging is Unreal Tournament style dodge jumping. Just thought I'd thank you for bringing it to my attention.

It'd be nice in this guide to have some reference to stuff in game that is measurable by the player.

For example, re: the damage increases per difficulty level.

It'd be nice to know just how leathal certain weapons are per difficulty level, even if it's just a passing comment, for instance:

On realistic, enemies with sniper rifles will kill you instantly if they shoot you in the torso or head etc
Also you could expand upon that with information that with certain items, augmentations and skills, you could then actually survive that, again for example:

On realistic, enemies with sniper rifles will kill you instantly if they shoot you in the torso or head. However with <INSERT SKILL LEVEL> for the Environmental Training skill and <INSERT AUGMENTATION LEVEL> for the Ballistic Protection augmentation you would be able to survive that sniper rifle shot to the head or torso.

PS I do not know if the above is true, but it'd be nice to know.

In the table listing demolition countdown times for Normal game mode, you say that the time for Untrained level is 0.25 seconds for all difficulties. This isn't true; on medium, the countdown is long enough for two beeps to sound, but on realistic, it's too short for even one beep.

Actually, you should update the guide to reflect the current version of Revision. For example, on Liberty Island, there's a flamethrower-wielding thug that hasn't appeared on easy or medium since 1.0.3.

Also, for the NSF HQ map, you say that one of the security bots doesn't appear on easy, yet the table says that it appears on all difficulties.

Did some research, it appears you're right, there's a double tap function on any difficulty below realistic on Shifter. I never played with those mods below realistic, so that's why I never saw it. Now the mystery is why the hell did I take no damage even if my screen flashed red.

I just tried it on Biomod on normal and realistic with untrained and master atheltics and couldn't do it. I can't remember what I need to do it but I remember being able to double press one of the movement keys within a second to be able to jump to the side or back. Maybe it's a Shifter only thing?
