How to beat YoloMode

This guide is for everyone trying to beat the game in YoloMode. Besides the extra spicy version of the game, this is the hardest difficulty of the game. Every hard area is explained on how to consistently beat it.

Introduction

Welcome to my guide on how to beat YoloMode in "You Have To Win To Game".I'm Jokomoto and in this guide I will give you explanations on how to beat difficult parts of the game on a consistent level. That doesn't mean you can beat the game without practising but it will make it easier when you figured it out. Be warned that this guide will spoil the game.

Walkthrough

In this video I will play through the game and show you a way to avoid most of the areas. You don't need to complete the game as fast as possible. So take your time.

If you don't want to watch the video then here is what you need to follow this path:

Watching the video though will give you an easier way to understand the path and you already see how the difficult areas are being passed by. That said, I would advise you to watch the video.

Hard Areas

I list areas that I feel could cause trouble to figure out and need practise. Some of those I not hard if you know what to do but if you don't know they can cause you to die. Also I refer to the moment in the video where you can watch me passing the area in the video to better understand my explanation on passing this area. Also consider making another game where you have infinite lifes and checkpoints. Playing until you reach an area where you have trouble gives you the opportunity to practise the area. Since starting the game on YoloMode will not override other games you can play with the saved one if you need/want to practise without redoing everything.

Area:Don't Get Snippy With me

Wait to jump on the isle when the crab is about to move from left to right. When this happens you can jump on the left edge on the isle. Jump to the right edge when the crab is about to move from right to left. Do so for the second isle too. You have to jump from the edge of the second isle to make the jump. This could make you die if you jump too early.

Area:Dire Crab

As you enter move to the first purple platform in the air. You don't need to jump. As the purple moving platform is about to move from right to left walk on to it and wait until it fully disappears. Then jump over the crab and move to the next area.

Area:Hollow King
Watch: 1:37
Wait until you can jump on the cyan platform. Be on the left edge of the platform until a ball of the skeleton hits the platform. Then move to the middle of the platform. Now when two balls have hit the purple top right wall then jump to right to the next area. As in the video, this is the easiest but no fastest way.

Area:Never Could See Any Other Way

When the ball is about to move from left to right then follow it and jump as you can jump through the penetrable platform and move down. Move under the first ball as it's about to go up. Then jump past the second ball to the free space. This requires practise! Pass the third ball as it's about to go up.

Area:You Definitely Shouldn't Go Left

As you enter this area go on the purple broken platform. When you are falling move to the right. This is a secure way to never get hit by the spikes. Jump on the cyan platform as soon as you can. Not doing this fast enough will make you wait because you have a limited time frame where you can pass this area. Jump on the horizontal moving platform. Then you need to jump and move diagonal between the bat and the spike. This requires a little practise. When you miss the time frame the you have to wait until the vertical platform moved seven times down. When the platform comes down the 8th time then you can pass the area.

Area:Green Man
Watch: 3:08
Move to the penetrable platform. Then move as close to where a ball hits the floor. When a ball hits the floor you can pass. Do that for every row the head shoots.

Area:Hollow King Transformed

You have to figure out where the second ball of the skeleton shoots lands. Move as close as possible to that position without getting hit by the ball. Move when it goes up. On the way back through this area you can just move to the left.

Area:Leap of Faith

Jump though the space between the spikes on the roof and that one lonely spike and keep moving left. As soon as your characters head is on the high of the to wait dots next to the double spiked platform jump. Now you should slide down from the side. Jump moving left and jump again when over the left spike still moving left. As you past the last spike move right to slide from the platform.
Jump moving a little right and jump again moving left to slide from the bottom spiked platform. Then jump onto the platform. Then double jump from the edge moving left to make sure you don't land in spikes. You don't have to get to the wall. You and land safely down the area. This requires you a lot of practise!

Area:Danger
Watch: 3:29
Have a little space between you and the spices. Jump moving a little right then jump moving to the left. This way to always pass these spikes with no problem. Next area do the same.

Area:Playing with fire
Watch: 4:55
You have to double jump from the far edge to stick on the side of the wall. If you don't make the jump do as in Area Danger explained.

Area:Hardcore Prawn
Watch: 5:05
As you enter wait until a ball hits at the first left prawn. Then jump on the left side wall. After quickly jump to the top left side wall. Then jump on the edge next to the second left prawn. After quickly jump over the prawn to the left. Re enter this area if you waited too long. This area requires practise!

Conclusion
