"I can't believe it's been almost a year. I hate to leave this channel inactive for so long, and it's mostly due to not having enough spare time in general, but also because this was a much bigger project than I expected. Coincidentally, I finished just before the submission week for the Saxxy Awards, so I thought: "Why not submit it there for fun?".

All the PVKII assets (models, maps, sound effects, etc.) used with permission from the developers ( http://i.imgur.com/fqMhHi1.png ). Pirates, Vikings & Knights II is a free game you can get on Steam: ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/17570/ )

I find it funny that people who think anything Saxxy related has to be TF2 related. I applaud the video for going outside the regular norm in the artistic style it gives. Great game too~

You morons complaining about making a scene and just moving a camera. The saxxies is about videos not just animation, I have seen no still image videos with this much magnificent camerea work, this amazing depth of field, this excellent lighting, these great uses particle effects and top notch poses. You haven't got the slightest clue to how much effort was put in to making this.

the point of animation IS TO ANIMATE THE CHARACTERS. NOT HAVE STATUES WITH A CAMERA MOVING AROUND THEM.
