Uses

Having 2 respawning Charbones can be a big help when grinding challenges. While you could exit a stronghold with an enemy car then call the Magnum Opus this requires 2 loading times per car (leaving and reentering the stronghold). The Charbones can also be used to weaken each other using their flame pipes before defeating them with another weapon.

To respawn drive far enough away for their spawn to be off your minimap then drive back.

This spawn can be especially useful for getting grinding kills if you've already defeated all convoys. Just use the flames to weaken them and grind the last bit of their health off.

While they can be used for any "defeat vehicles" challenge they cannot be used for the "destroy vehicles on foot" challenges. The vehicles have to be driven by an NPC for them to count towards those particular challenges.

Be sure to return to a stronghold (fast travel works) before saving or your kills won't be properly saved.

Scrotus Metal Grinder

While not as useful as the 2 Charbones, a single respawning Metal Grinder can be found at a different location. If you specifically need Scrotus kills head over to it.
