Perfect Boyfriend Achievement Guide

This guide is designed to help players earn the "Perfect Boyfriend" achievement along with its two possible endings. Included is a detailed day by day walkthrough on what choices you need to make throughout the game and other requirements needed in order to obtain the "Perfect Boyfriend" achievement.

Introduction

The “Perfect Boyfriend” achievement is a somewhat difficult achievement achievement to unlock as you must be involved with a good relationship with Muxin while attemping to earn a high score on Gaokao. This achievement is only obtainable by entering Muxin's route by having a good relationship with her. You can earn the "Perfect Boyfriend" achievement by obtaining either Ending 01 or 02 respectively.

While the achievement may be difficult to obtain, I have created a day by day walkthrough that will guide you through the choices you will have to make within this story route.

Note: Earning ending 01, "Muxin's First Experience" will unlock an additional achievement for the game. Earning ending 02, "Little Problem" will also unlock a unique achievement. You have the opportunity to earn 3 achievements from this guide if you choose to follow it.

Requirements

In order to enter Muxin's story route and eventually earn the "Perfect Boyfriend" achievement, you need to meet some requriements. They are as followed:

• Have a good relationship with Muxin
  
• Call Muxin during every possible free time
  
• Pass the first simulation test.
  
• Pass Gaokao with a Top University score
  
• Earn Ending 01 or 02

Earning a high score on Gaokao may be difficult, but if you use either the "Memory of 1977" or the "Secret Test Paper" items, you can easily obtain Ending 01 and 02. If you do not have any of these items, you can obtain them by following my other guides shown below. However, they are not needed, as the walkthrough in which I have below will guide you day by day to meet all of the above requirements without using those 2 items.

Walkthrough Part 1

This walkthrough will be divided into 3 sections. The first section is for the content before the first simulation test, the second section will be for the content after the first simulation test, but not after the second simulation test, and the third section will be for the content after the second simulation test. This will also make the walkthrough a bit more organized.

Please understand that you may encounter some random events while following this guide which may not be mentioned at all. These random events may alter your stats postively or negatively. To prepare for such events, you should get into the habit of saving your game every so often so that you may load back your game to a previous save point to avoid any possible random event that may affect you.

Remember that this walkthrough will not guarantee a 100% sucess rate, but it should yield the desired results nevertheless.

On Day 99, change your attitude to “Study Hard”. Then equip any useful item that will reduce stress or help you review, such as Muxin’s amulet. Afterwards, choose to review Math.

On Day 98, review Math and choose to challenge yourself for extra points.

On Day 97, while on the date with Muxin, choose the option that says “We must go to a good college together”. This is the first requirement needed to obtain Ending 01/02 so make sure you choose it.



On Day 96, do not drink the liquid given to you by your parents. Then call Muxin for the first time. Afterwards, review any subject you would like. Do not waste time sleeping or going out just yet, as you will have plenty of time to rest later.

On Day 95, choose to do the morning exercise casually to conserve HP. Afterwards, talk to Muxin. You may encounter an event at night where you can choose 2 choices depending on the situation. Since this is random, you will have to choose the option that does not give you any negative outcomes.

On Day 94, choose to not look at the notice board. Afterwards, talk to Muxin. At night, do not drink the liquid.

On Day 93, talk to Muxin. At night, choose the option to do the papers seriously.



On Day 92, review Chinese.

On Day 91, help Muxin with the question. Then talk to Muxin.



On Day 90, call Muxin. Afterwards, review Chinese.

On Day 89, call Muxin.

On Day 88, exercise casually. Then choose the option to let Muxin sleep. Afterwards, review English.



On Day 87, shove the biscuit down your mouth. Afterwards, review Math.



On Day 86, choose the option that says “I was doing papers”.

On Day 85, choose to study more. Later, do not join Stom on his adventure. Afterwards, choose to review Chinese and challenge yourself.



On Day 84, choose to buy the chocolate for Muxin.



On Day 83, do not throw away the advertisement and just forget it. Afterwards, call Muxin. Then call Xiaohan and Mr. Xi to lower some stress. Lastly, go to sleep.

On Day 81, review Chinese.

On Day 80, choose to eat the cookie. Then choose the option that says “For the hope of my parents”. This will increase all of your abilities and help with the exams. Lastly, choose to review English and challenge yourself. At night, choose the option that says “I don’t have the courage”.



On Day 79, review Math and do the papers seriously.

On Day 78, throw the ball into the dustbin normally. Then talk to Muxin. If your HP is low, don’t worry, it will go up a bit tomorrow.



On Day 77, you can equip Muxin’s amulet now if you didn’t have it before. Afterwards, go to sleep.

On Day 76, call Muxin.

On Day 75, call Muxin even though you won’t talk to her. Then go to the Bookshop to increase all of your abilities slightly.

On Day 74, do the exercise casually. Afterwards, choose to sleep. At night, choose the option to stay up late and do some papers.



On Day 73, choose to sleep. Then chase the mouse to the left side towards Muxin.



On Day 72, do not talk to Muxin. This is the last day before the first simulation test. You should have your abilities up fairly well to pass the test easily. If you have low HP or high stress at this time, you can either sleep or relax to help before the test. If you have low stress and high HP now, then choose to review Math. Also, you could equip an item that will boost your ability points, such as Xiaohan’s notes or the Secret Test Paper to obtain an extra boost for the simulation test.

On Day 69, call Muxin even though you will not talk to her. Then call both Mrs. Xei and Mr. Xi to increase your learning abilities. Afterwards, review English.

On Day 68, you should get your results back from the first simulation test. If all is well, you should have a score higher than a Tier 1 college, but not quite high enough for the Top Universities. Do not worry as you will have more time to increase your score to eventually earn a high score on the final exam.

Walkthrough Part 2

On Day 67, take a rest during the morning exercise. Then choose to not look at the notice board again. Afterwards, review English. If you have less than 100 ideal, you may want to equip an item that will increase your ideal right now. This is because you will talk to Muxin shortly after and you will lose some ability points if you have low ideal.

On Day 66, choose the option to see what is going on inside the toilet. Then choose to review Comprehensive.



On Day 64, review Comprehensive.

On Day 63, review Comprehensive

On Day 62, while on the date with Muxin, choose the option that says “I will never abandon you”. This is extremely important, if you do not choose this option, you will not get the “Perfect Boyfriend” achievement.


On Day 61, call Muxin.

On Day 60, do not go with Stom. Then talk to Muxin.

On Day 59, if you get prompted to do some Comprehensive papers, choose the option that says “Sure”. Then talk to Muxin.

On Day 58, talk to Muxin.

On Day 57, review Math.

On Day 56, talk to Muxin.

On Day 53, review Comprehensive.

On Day 52, choose to enter Mr. Xi’s office. Then talk to Muxin. If you get prompted to drink a liquid in class, choose to drink it.

On Day 51, talk to Muxin.

On Day 50, during Champion Han’s speech, choose the option that says “Try to hear the end of it”. If you do not choose this option, your relationship with Muxin will be discovered and you will not be able to earn the “Perfect Boyfriend” achievement.



On Day 48, call Muxin. Then call both Xiaohan and Mr. Xi to lower your stress from the speech. Afterwards, review comprehensive.

On Day 46, do the exercise casually. Then talk to Muxin. Also be cautious now as there will be more random events that will occur now, especially at night. Make sure you save in case you get a negative event that hurts your abilities.

On Day 45, review Comprehensive.

On Day 44, you can choose what you want to do to prepare for the second simulation test. (Recommended to relax)

On Day 40, call Muxin. Then call both Xiaohan and Mr. Xi to reduce pressure. Then take a walk to Center Park to reduce stress and increase HP.

On Day 39, you should get back your results from the second simulation test. If you did well enough, you should have reached a Top University Score by now. If not, you will still have time to increase your abilities. Afterwards, talk to Muxin.

Walkthrough Part 3

After the second simulation test, the game becomes relatively simple as you will mostly be reviewing material. There will be alot of random events during this time so be prepared.

On Day 38, review Chinese.

On Day 37, review Comprehensive.

On Day 35, review Math

On Day 34, call Muxin. Then call Xiaohan and Mr. Xi to reduce pressure. Afterwards, review Chinese.

On Day 33, call Muxin. Then review Chinese.

On Day 32, talk to Muxin.

On Day 31, when you go to Mrs. Xei’s office, choose the option to earn higher scores.



On Day 30, review Math.

On Day 29, talk to Muxin.

On Day 27, call Muxin. Then review Math.

On Day 26, call Muxin. Then review English.

On Day 24, review English.

On Day 21, choose to sleep.

On Day 20, you will have a major decision to make. You will have to decide whether you want to go a college in another province, or go to a local college. If you choose to go to a college in another province, you will earn Ending 01, if you choose to go to a local college, you will earn Ending 02. You will still earn the “Perfect Boyfriend” achievement no matter what option you choose, but the endings will be different. I highly recommend that you create a save point here so you can choose both options and get both endings easily.



On Day 19, call Muxin. Then review Chinese.

On Day 18, review Math.

On Day 17, review English.

On Day 16, choose to sleep.

On Day 15, review English.

On Day 14, review Chinese.

On Day 13, call Muxin. Then review Math.

On Day 11, review English.

On Day 10, review Math.

On Day 08, review Comprehensive.

On Day 07, review English.

On Day 06, call Muxin. Then review Comprehensive.

On Day 05, call Muxin, then choose to sleep.

On Day 04, review Chinese.

On Day 02, do what you what to prepare for Gaokao.

On Day 01, equip either the “Memory of 1977” item or the “Secret Test Paper” item now to help you pass Gaokao and get Endings 01/02. Then choose what you want to do afterwards.
After that, you will take Gaokao and you should pass the test with at least a score of 600 if you did not use the “Memory of 1977” item. You will then unlock either Ending 01 or 02 depending on which college you decided to go with Muxin.

This is the score I got on Gaokao using no items.

I think I have it: You need to do well on firts mock, then at some moment you should select "I will never abandond you" then you should slip the Gao Kao Champion speech with Muxin. Then the relation will be discovered by parents.

Try equipping an item that raises your stats before taking the first mock exam like Xiaohan’s notes. You shouldn't need to if you focus your abilities evenly.

When i first played this game, i got a bad result that was so sad. because i was always making the choices which i will probably make when i was a high-school student.(i am a chinese student.) And then, i read some guide like yours and fellow these step finally i got a good ending. Although i didn't get these good endings by myself, I still find out one point that one's life is not always smooth sailing, always happy ending.
