Play the Game with No Risk of Bankruptcy [EASY & EXPLAINED]

Hello Everyone!

You must be here because you're a filthy casual...just kidding, you may have no successful games past the Garage Stage and want to experience the whole game, or unlock all the achievements(involving getting the the R&D Stage).
This is a guide for you.

And yes...this is cheating, obviously, but you're probably past the point of "I ain't no cheater" if you're reading this here guide.

How To Do It

You're going to want to go this folder wherever you've isntalled steam.

In this remote folder you'll find a bunch of save files(depending on saves used and mods installed). Just find the save file you'd want to edit, for me this would be "slot_1", for you it may be "slot_2" or "slot_3". You're going to want to right clikc the appropriate file and select a text editor you have installed to open it e.g. WordPad, Notepad++, gEdit, TextWrangler, etc.
What will appear is a single line to a very long code(it gets longer depending on mods installed, employees hired and games released), but it shouldn't be too long if this file was newly created and only a year or so into game developement.


I've already edited this file once, so don't worry if some of my numbers are vastly higher compared to yours, like "game time".
You'll want to hit Ctrl + F or whatever brings up the find menu on your keyboard and type "cash".


You'll see the starting amount of money there is in the game(or what you possess in your currnt save file). Just go ahead and change that number into the billions or whatever you prefer.


I have not tested for a ceiling amount in the game, so don't go in and type +Inf...DON'T. If you don't even know what I'm talking about, that's fine, good actually.
You can even go a step further and add some fans that already adore you and your company, or give experience to your player by just arrow-keying down a few notches. I won't be showing you howto do this for EVERY game attribute. That isn't the focus of the guide.
Well now that you're worth a couple billion and living in your mom's grage, you may also want some stocked up research points. This will allow you to research any and all topics in the game.


You can find this section easily by Ctrl + F searching for "researchPoints". Just drop a couple million points here. Enjoy the game on my version of easy mode, have fun!

I guess there is a ceiling for cash and/or research points as I tried this just now and got "Save File corrupted" or something like that. Fortunately I made a backup of the the original file...
