This guide is designed to help players in obtaining the item called “The Memory of 1977” along with its achievement. Included is a day by day walkthrough to help players follow along to ensure success of obataining the item and completion of the achievement.

Introduction

This guide is designed to help players in obtaining the item called “The Memory of 1977”. This item is considered to be one of the best items of the games due to the fact that you can achieve the best endings as long as you have the item equipped. This means you do not have to focus too much on constantly reviewing to get a high score on Gaokao and will have an easier time getting the best endings for each route.

Requirements

To obtain this item, you will need to make certain decisions at the beginning of the game. So it is recommended that you start a new game in order to obtain this item. You will also have to achieve a good score on the first simulation test while maintaining a good relationship with Muxin. On the date with Muxin after the first simulation test, you need to make sure that you do not give up on the relationship and continue dating. Once you ensure you meet these requirements, follow these other steps and you should obtain the “Memory of 1977” item.

You don’t need to get a really high score on the first simulation test, but you just need enough to match a Tier 1 college. You also don’t need to constantly talk to Muxin during each class as there will be opportunities to raise stats significantly. In addition, always choose not to exercise so seriously during the routine exercises each Monday. Also make sure you do not have low HP and high stress. Below will be an outline in which you can follow to guarantee success.

Walkthrough

On Day 99, change your attitude to Study Hard and review English. You will review English with Muxin and increase both your English ability and relationship with Muxin slightly. Also, if you have Muxin’s amulet already, be sure to equip it. If you do not, then equip the next best item you have.

On Day 98, talk to Muxin or review Math and challenge yourself if you want to get an early stat boost.

On the date with Muxin at the aquarium, choose the choice that says “We must go to a good college together”. This is essential as this will help you maintain a good relationship with Muxin.



On Day 96, call Muxin to increase your relationship with her. Then you can choose what to do afterwards. (Recommended to review)

On Day 95, talk to Muxin.

On the beginning of Day 94, Joey will give you the opportunity to look at the Notice Board. It would be ideal to create a save slot here as looking at the Notice Board will yield different results each time, such as increasing stress or HP. Afterwards, talk to Muxin. Do not drink the liquid your mom gives you as this will only decrease your HP.



On Day 93, talk to Muxin. At the end of Day 93, you will be prompted to choose whether or not to do the extra papers casually or seriously. It is recommended that you do them seriously to make up for lost review time with Muxin since you will gain Chinese ability at the cost of HP.



On Day 92, talk to Muxin while she is eating chips.

On Day 91, choose to help Muxin with the question. Then talk to Muxin afterwards to increase both your relationship and Chinese ability.



On Day 90, do not call Muxin as nothing will happen and do not call Xiaohan because Muxin will be upset. Instead take this time to either review, relax, or sleep depending on your HP and stress.

On Day 89, do not call Muxin and instead go to school. You will bump into Cokkie and receive a note. This is essential for later on so make sure you get this note.



On Day 88, let Muxin sleep. Afterwards, review English and you will increase both your relationship with Muxin and English ability.



On Day 87, shove a biscuit into your mouth to take the blame for Muxin. Afterwards, you can either choose to do anything you want but talk to Muxin since she will not be there to talk to.



On Day 86, choose the option that says “I was doing papers”.



On Day 85, choose to study more to avoid stat reduction. Then choose not to go with Stom to avoid increased stress. Afterwards talk to Muxin or review either Chinese or English for significant ability boost.



On Day 84, buy the chocolate for Muxin.



On Day 83, don’t call Muxin and go to school.

On Day 81, you can either review Chinese or English as they will both increase your relationship with Muxin and increase your subject ability.

On Day 80, talk to Muxin or do what you want if needed.

On Day 79, do not talk to Muxin as you will only increase your pressure by doing so. Instead use this time for yourself.

On Day 78, do not duel Stom and choose to throw the ball away normally. Afterwards, talk to Muxin to increase your relationship with her and HP.



On Day 76, go to school. Also, if you did not have Muxin’s amulet before, you should have received it by now. Make sure you equip this item because it will lower stress significantly.

On Day 75, call Muxin. Afterwards, you can go to the bookshop to meet with Xiaohan to increase all of your abilities or choose to sleep. During this night, you might have a dream regarding Muxin. If you get this dream, this means that your relationship with Muxin is not that great. You can choose to sacrifice your abilities to increase your relationship with her or restart your game from the beginning. If you do not get this dream, that means you are on track and doing things correctly.

On Day 74, do not talk to Muxin and instead review any subject or relax before the first simulation test. At night, choose to stay up late and do papers to increase your abilities at the cost of HP.



On Day 73, do not talk to Muxin and instead allocate your time to review or prepare for the first simulation test. Afterwards, choose to chase the mouse to the left side.



On Day 72, do not talk to Muxin and instead allocate your time to review or prepare for the first simulation test. Also, if you have the secret test paper item or any other stat boosting item, make sure you equip it now before the test to increase your score. Remember you just need to get a Tier 1 college score in order to pass.

On Day 69, do not call Muxin and instead go to school. You can also call both Mrs. Mei and Mr. Xi to increase all of your abilities beforehand.

On Day 68, you will get your results. If everything is done well, you should have passed. If not, try to redo it with higher abilities. After that, you do not need to talk to Muxin in class anymore. All you need to do is wait until you can go to school on the weekend.



On Day 66, choose the option to see what is happening inside the bathroom.



On Day 62, choose the option to not abandon Muxin. This is essential so make sure you choose it.



On Day 60, choose not to go with Stom. Afterwards, talk to Muxin.



On Day 59, talk to Muxin.

On Day 58, talk to Muxin.

On Day 57, do anything but do not talk to Muxin.

On Day 56, talk to Muxin.

On Day 53, talk to Muxin.

On Day 52, do anything.

On Day 51, talk to Muxin

On Day 49, hear the end of the lecture with Muxin. Once then, you will meet with Cokkie and the others to find Joey. Once then you will eventually receive the “Memory of 1977” at the very end of the day.

Conclusion

If you followed the walkthrough correctly, you should now have recieved the "Memory of 1977" item. Once you got it, you still must complete the current story in order for you to use the item in other new games. I recommend to finish the story using the "Memory of 1977" to obtain the best ending with Muxin. It can, but you still need to have high ideal and overall good stats after the 1st exam. It may not work sometimes but its not too hard.

Followed the guide; ended up with a below Tier 1 score on the simulation, and had the dream, and honestly, this game is as bad as I thought it would be, but I got it on sale so no big loss.

Got it on the first try. If you follow exactly what it says you can get it easily even if you have the dream since the secret test paper will give you such high stat boosts. Thanks for the post.

Thank you sooo much, It worked on the second try, the first try failed, the dream came up. The second time i did not get the dream, and i know how to not get the dream, in the guide when you review english or math for extra points and realtion with muxin, don't review, just talk with muxin

Had to do mulitable walkthroughs attempts for this achievement & I couldn't get above tier one score without cheat sheet when I keep getting the dream to spawn. Best is to always talk to Muxin when it's mentions it on the days so the dream doesn't spawn.

Also I don't think that's right picture for Day 60 as that scene never came up for me & instead an option to help Cokkie & Joey with Stom. Thx for walkthrough.
