Complete list of all 175 challenges in Mad Max, and tips on how to complete them. Helpful for getting the ''Up to the Task'' achievement.

Introduction

Mad Max have 175 challenges divided into 3 categories: Wasteland, Ground Combat and Car Combat. Each completed challenge increase Max's Legend ranking and give you a Griffa Token, which can be used to upgrade Abilities. Some of the challenges are repeatable, while others can only be completed once. To unlock the ''Up to the Task'' achievement you have to complete all non-repeating challenges. All challenges, incomplete and completed, can be viewed in the Legend menu.

To complete all challenges or the ones required for the ''Up to the Task'' achievement, you should know that you need to be invested in the game because completing them all will require you to almost getting 100% completion of the game, and you will probably have play for more than a 100 hours.

When you start a new game you will have 98 challenges available, when completing some of the challenges, you will earn new harder versions of the challenge, this guide will list these challenges together as they have similar objectives and strategies. The guide will also note which challenges that are repeatable and they are marked in italics.

First in this guide I have listed some general tips and important tips on completing the challenges. Following this I have provided specific tips and strategy on each of the different challenges. In the end you will find a list of the non-repeating challenges needed for the ''Up to the Task'' achievement, and then the challenges that can be repeated to increase Max's rank.

General Tips

• DO NOT clear out all convoys before you have the ''Stick It to Ya'' challenge. If you have convoy with boarder vehicles (with enemies that jump on car) this challenge will be much easier.
  
  
• You should not clear out all the camps before completing all combat challenges, some of them require you to fight a large numbers of enemies only found in camps. However you can find respawning enemies at Scavenging Locations in the Dump (Deep Friah's territory) if you have taken all camps.
  
  
• Most of the challenges will be completed while you play the game and you will not need to worry about them, most of the looting and completing camps one, and the ones about taking out high numbers of enemies are some of these.
  
  
• The challenges I got last in the game was the Car Combat ones, so you should always try and focus on taking out cars in the spesific ways the challenges require, so you don't have to do a lot of it after you finish with everything else.
  
  
• You should do the Clean Up Crew and Scrap Crew projects early, when you arrive at a new Stronghold, to complete the Clean Up Crew and Scrap Crew challenges and to make the game much easier for your self.
  
  
• While you are driving around the Wasteland be on the lookout for encounters, wanderers in need of water, buried vehicles and circling birds that indicate food, usually maggots can be found.
  
  
• Always make sure to check that you have completely looted and completed optional objectives at location or camp. Looting locations disappear on the map when completed, camps can be checked.
  
  
• Most of the Ground Combat Challenges will become much easier with uprgrades from Griffa and uprgrading Max's skills.
  
  
• Many of the challenges concerning destroying vehicles can be done by taking the needed vehivle from a stronghold and using the flare to call Chum, the vehicle can be destroyed with the Magnum Opus. This will not work on challenges that needs moving vehicles.

Tips on Wasteland Challenges (pt. 1)

We Die to Each Other Daily - Kill 60 enemies from the Scrotus fraction, ether on foot or in a vehicle
Quiet in the Halls of Justice - Kill 120 enemies from the Scrotus fraction, ether on foot or in a vehicle - Repeatable
These challenges will almost certainly unlock over the course of the game. Just take out enemies to get them.

Like a 10 Day Camel - Fill the Canteen fully, 30 times (30000 drops)
Will most likely unlock over the course of the game, if you fill your water bottle often. If you are having trouble start relying on water for healing, and avoid getting the bottle filled at Strongholds.

Eradicator - Complete the main objectives for 1 camp
Man Is Not Made for Defeat - Repopulate 2 camps
Rising from the Ashes - Repopulate 12 camps
A Place to Lay My Hat - Repopulate all remaining 22 camps
Not much explaining required, just take out all the camps.

2 Birds with 1 Stone - Complete the main and optional objectives for 3 Scrotus camps
Make Hay While the Sun Shines - Complete the main and optional objectives for 10 Scrotus camps
Multi-Task Master - Complete the main and optional objectives for 15 Scrotus camps
Death on Your Doorstep - Complete main and optional objectives for 9 Scrotus camps
Make sure you find all loot and relics, and destroy all insignia. Check the map or menu in the camp to see if you have missed something.

Low Hanging Fruit - Complete 5 scavenging locations
What's Yours Is Mine - Complete 13 scavenging locations
Picking the Carcass - Complete 18 scavenging locations
Reaper of the Harvest - Complete 191 scavenging locations
Loot everything in the scavenging locations. The location will disappear from the map when completed. Build the Scavenging Crew projects in Strongholds to help locate them all.

A Threat Is a Threat - Kill 60 enemies from the Roadkill faction, either on foot or in a vehicle
The Long and Winding Road - Kill 110 enemies from the Roadkill faction, either on foot or in a vehicle - Repeatable
You will most likley unlock these over the course of the game, if not search for more Roadkill enemies to kill.

Clearing the Fog - Reveal 3 regions by using balloons
Revelations - Reveal 13 regions by using balloons
Go to the balloon spots on the map and fly the balloon to the top to reveal a region.

Pick of the Day - Take out 5 Scrotus Leadslingers
I've Got My Eye on You - Take out 10 Scrotus Leadslingers
Can't Hide from the Reaper - Take out 30 Scrotus Leadslingers - Repeatable
Just take out the snipers located on the map, or other snipers at scavenging locations and camps. The last of these challenges may be listed under Car Combat in the game, this is likely an error and you don't have to use your car.

Precautionary Measures - Destroy 5 land mines
Calm like a Bomb - Destroy 10 land mines
Cut the Right Wire - Destroy 30 land mines
No Need to Call the Bomb Squad - Defuse all 45 remaining land mines
Use Chum's Buggy and the Dog to find minefields and mines and disarm them.

Calling the Shots - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Jeet's territory
The Coast Is Clear - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Jeet's territory
Take out every camp, sniper, scarecrow and minefield in all of Jeet's territory.

Striking Their Colors - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Gutgash's territory
Calm Seas - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Gutgash's territory
Take out every camp, sniper, scarecrow and minefield in all of Gutgash's territory.

What Goes Around - Reduce all threat within 1 region of Pink Eye's territory
The Dust Settles - Reduce all threat in remaining 4 regions within Pink Eye's territory

A Penny Saved - Earn 500 scrap from Scrap Crews
Dividend - Earn 2000 scrap from Scrap Crews
Build the Scrap Crew projects in Strongholds, this will grant you Scrap when you are not playing the game.

Storming the Guard - Destroy 5 large Sniper towers
Toppler - Destroy 10 large Sniper towers
The large towers are located outside camps, make sure to destroy the tower not just kill the Leadslinger.

Shooing the Rooks - Destroy 4 Scarecrows
A Cat Amongst the Pigeons - Destroy 12 Scarecrows
Scattered Ashes - Destroy 15 Scarecrows
From Dust to Dust - Destroy 20 Scarecrows
He Who Watches the Watchers - Destroy all remaining 46 scarecrows
Destroy all the Scarecrows on the map, some require you to use the harpoon.

Tango in a Twister - Defeat 3 enemies, either on foot or in a vehicle while in a storm
Eye of the Tiger - Defeat 10 enemies either on foot or in a vehicle, while in a storm - Repeatable
Defeat enemies the usual way, but while in a storm.

A Sign of the Times - Destroy 8 Scrotus Insignia

The Writing's on the Wall - Destroy the remaining 77 Insignia
Destroy the Insignia located in camps, check the menu or map to see if you missed some, a few are hidden quite well.

Silencing the Squawk - Kill 30 enemies from the Buzzard faction, either on foot or in a vehicle
Stripping the Quills - Kill 65 enemies from the Buzzard faction, either on foot or in a vehicle – Repeatable
You will most likley unlock these over the course of the game, if not search for more Buzzard enemies to kill, remember that Buzzards appears at night.

Lock, Stock and Barrel - Complete all stockpile projects for Jeet
Complete the stockpiles by giving scrap at Jeet's Stronghold the prices are 500, then 1000 and 1500 for the large stockpile.

Full to the Gunwales - Complete all stockpile projects for Gutgash
Complete the stockpiles by giving scrap at Gutgash's Stronghold. The prices are the same as for Jeet.

Save It for a Rainy Day - Complete all stockpile projects for Pink Eye
Complete the stockpiles by giving scrap at Pink Eye's Stronghold.The prices are the same as for Jeet.

Fuel to the Fire - Complete all stockpile projects for Deep Friah

Tips on Wasteland Challenges (pt. 2)

Don't Spend It All in One Place - Collect 1000 scrap
Metal Detector - Collect 10000 scrap
The One Percent - Collect 45000 scrap
Obtained over the course of the game, build the Clean Up and Scrap Crew to get some extra scrap.

Trash Is Treasure - Earn 500 scrap from Clean Up Crews
Clean Sweep - Earn 2000 scrap from Clean Up Crews
Build the Clean Up Crew project in Strongholds, then go out and destroy vehicles to complete these challenges.

Flavor of the Month - Eat 6 cans of food
Wasteland Gourmet - Eat 12 cans of food
You will find most of the food cans in camps. If you health is full when you find one, remember to go back when you have taken some damage.

Tentative Tastebuds - Eat 1 serving of maggots
You Are What You Eat - Eat 15 servings of maggots - Repeatable
You will find maggots in scavenging locations, however most are found out in the Wasteland, look for circles of birds in the sky they indicate that you can find on the ground underneat.

Happy Hour - Giver water to 1 Wanderer
Until the Well Runs Dry - Give Water to 5 Wanderers - Repeatable
When driving in the Wasteland remember to look out for Wanderers. Usually they are a small slow moving ground, one of them will have a water icon above his/her head. Make sure you do have water in the canteen while driving around in case you should encounter Wanderers.

Sticky Fingers - Open 5 containers or doors using the Jimmy Bar
Pandoras's Box - Open 10 containers or doors using the Jimmy Bar
Requirements: Jimmy Bar tool
Some camps and scavenging locations have containers and doors that can only be opened with a Jimmy Bar, buy it in the Max menu.

Behold, the Flying Fox! - Use 30 zip lines
Use enough zip lines over the course of the game. You can use the same zip line more than once to get this challenge easy.

2 Are Better than 4 - Destroy 5 moving vehicles on foot
Jousting with Dragons - Destroy 20 vehicles while on foot - Repeatable
While on foot, try to dodge the cars and quickly shot the tank with your shotgun. It seems that you have to destroy moving vehicles for the second challenge as well even though it is not specified.

What Are the Chances - Collect 3 boxes of scrap from Muthaloot crates
Playing the Lottery - Collect 10 boxes of scrap from Muthaloot crates - Repeatable
Either locate a Muthaloot crate in a storm, and use the Harpoon to hold it, or go find one after a strom. Their location will be marked on the mini-map. Each Muthaloot crate contains 3 boxes of scrap.

Amateur Archaeology - Pull 1 buried vehicle out of the sand with the Harpoon
Junk in the Trunk - Pull 5 buried vehicles out of the sand with the Harpoon - Repeatable
Be on the look out for these buried vehicles while driving around. Chumbucket will often, but not always point them out.

Paradise Lost - Find 3 History Relics
Faded Memories - Find 15 History Relics
Find History Relics at scavenging locations and in camps.


Through the Eye of the Needle - Perform a 3 second jump while in a storm, 2 times - Repeatable
The best place to do this will be one cliff located in the mountains around the Proving Grounds camp in Gutgash's territory (see the map above for the location I suggest). Drive there as fast as possible if you should encounter a storm in Gutgash's territory. You can also get it in the permanent storms in the Big Nothing. See map for the location I suggest.

Set up Us the Bomb - Destroy 50 red barrels
Most of the red barrels are mainly located in camps, make sure you blow up most of the barrels you encounter.

Canary in a Coalmine - Earn 1000 scrap from repopulated camps
Sitting on a Goldmine - Earn 10000 scrap from repopulated camps
These will be unlocked slowly over time, repopulate more camps to get it faster. You will get 20 scrap from each camp at set time intervals while playing.

A Talkative Man - Speak with 8 Encounters in Jeet's territory
Be on the lookout for encounters marked on the map in Jeet's territory and talk to all of them, more will appear by taking out threats and doing Wasteland missions.

Chatty Chatty - Speak with 11 Encounters in Gutgash's territory
Be on the lookout for encounters marked on the map in Gutgash's territory and talk to all of them, more will appear by taking out threats and doing Wasteland missions.

Bigmouth - Speak with 12 Encounters in Pink Eye's territory
Be on the lookout for encounters marked on the map in Pink Eye's territory and talk to all of them, more will appear by taking out threats and doing Wasteland missions.

Making Friends in Gastown - Speak with 7 Encounters in Gastown
Be on the lookout for encounters marked on the map in Gastown and talk to all of them. This includes encounters in The Dumps (Deep Friah's territory.) More will appear by taking out threats and doing Wasteland missions.

Tips on Ground Combat Challenges

Laying the Smackdown - Kill 100 enemies in melee combat
You will most certainly unlock this challenge over the course of the game.

Sticking Pigs - Defeat 35 enemies with Shiv execution - Repeatable
Use your Shivs as often as possible to execute enemies. Upgrading Max's Ammo Belt will let you carry more Shivs.

Chew on This, Bud - Perform 25 Jaw Breakers - Repeatable
Hold the left mouse button to build up a Heavy Strike while an enemy is running towards you.

Fists of Fury - Perform a combo chain of 15 or above
Found My Rhythm - Perform a combo chain of 20 or above
Furious Flurry - Perform a combo chain of 25 or above - Repeatable
Can be done while fighting many enemies at once, you must be skilled at parrying and dodging to not get hit, while trying to do this challenge.

Suckerpunched - Perform 10 Gut Shot kills using the Shotgun
Was It Something You Ate? - Perform 25 Gut Shot kills using the Shotgun - Repeatable
Requirements: Gut Shot Skill
Use the Gut Shot attack by using the Shotgun very close to an enemy.

Cracking Skulls - Perform 20 Wall Finisher attacks - Repeatable
Requirements: Wall Finisher skill
After getting an wall strike, hold the left mouse button to perform a Wall Finisher. The Wall Shiv Execution does not count so make sure to avoid using it.

Swing Batter Batter! - Defeat 5 enemies with a melee weapon
Bone Crunching - Defeat 10 enemies with a melee weapon
Bludgeoner - Defeat 30 enemies with a melee weapon - Repeatable
Pick up a melee weapon or disarm an enemy and use this weapon on enemies.

Slow Burner - Fill the Fury meter in 60 seconds or less
Measured Savagery - Fill the Fury meter in 50 seconds or less
Feeding Frenzy - Fill the Fury meter in 40 seconds or less
Rage Against the Meter - Fill the Fury meter in 30 seconds or less
A Taste for Violence - Fill the Fury meter in 20 seconds or less
Rattling Your Dags - Fill the Fury meter in 10 seconds or less
Can be obtained by fighting large groups of enemies in a camp. The trick for the hardest of these challenges is to fight enemies until Fury mode is reached, then let it cool down (end Fury mode) and then attack the rest of the enmies. Special attacks from Skills will help you fill the Fury meter faster.

Untouchable - Defeat 8 enemies in melee combat in a row without taking any damage
Unbreakable - Defeat 12 enemies in melee combat in a row without taking any damage
Unbeatable - Defeat 15 enemies in melee combat in a row without taking any damage -Repeatable
Can be obtained in camps while fighting many enemies, be sure to parry or dodge all attacks. The enemies do not have to be fought in one group, but make sure you do not take any damage when moving through the camp. The challenge will complete after you take damage and enough enemies have been defeated.

Slam Dunked! - Perform a Fury Finisher on 15 enemies
Requirements: Chain Finisher skill
Perform a finisher move bought as a Skill while in a Fury mode to get this.

Unstoppable - Kill 8 enemies in melee combat during 1 Fury Mode
This one can be a bit tricky, make sure you fight more than enough enemies and get into Fury Mode fast, try and use a lot of special attacks during the fight. Upgrading Channeling at Griffa helps a lot in this challenge.

As Vicious as a Bandicoot - Defeat 5 enemies by impaling them with a Thunderstick
You will find Thundersticks in various camps and other locations. To impale a enemy you have to get realy close to them with a Thunderstick then the impale option will show up. Throwing a Thunderstick from a distance do not work.

I've Got the Hang of This - Perform 50 Perfect Parries - Repeatable
Look closely when the parry option appears on an enemy, click the right mouse button when the large circle dissapears. This is a question of timing, so you should train to get better at it.

Peace Pact - Disarm 5 enemies
Rendered Defenseless - Disarm 10 enemies
Dismembered - Disarm 15 enemies - Repeatable
Requirements: Reversal skill
You will then get the option to disarm an armed enemy after a perfect parry. The Master Melee Reversal will let you disarm after any parry.

Tips on Car Combat Challenges (pt. 1)

Roadkiller - Defeat 10 Roadkill vehicles by any means
Up the Ante - Defeat 50 Roadkill vehicles by any means
Smite the Heathens - Destroy 15 Roadkill vehicles while driving the ''Jugger of Virtue'' Archangel
A Piece of History - Defeat 100 Roadkill vehicles by any means - Repeatable
Requirements: Jugger of Virtue Archangel
Make sure you completly destroy the vehicles, not only kill the driver. Be sure to drive around the Wasteland a lot and destroy the Roadkill vehicles. After destroying 60 Roadkill vehicles you have to destroy 15 more with the ''Jugger of Virtue'' Archangel

Pup of War - Defeat 10 Scrotus vehicles by any means
Dog of War - Defeat 50 Scrotus vehicles by any means
Smite the Wicked - Defeat 15 Scrotus vehicles while driving the ''Jugger of Virtue'' Archangel

Smite the Demons - Defeat 15 Buzzard Vehicles while driving the ''Jugger of Virtue'' Archangel
Exorciser - Defeat 30 Buzzard vehicles by any means - Repeatable
Requirements: Jugger of Virtue Archangel
Make sure you completly destroy the vehicles, not only kill the driver. Buzzard vehicles appear at night, so drive around the Wastleand then to find some. After destroying 25 Scrotus vehicles you have to destroy 15 more with the ''Jugger of Virtue'' Archangel

Two Can Play That Game - Defeat 3 enemy vehicles while driving a Skullbutts
Requirements: Skullbutt (Corner Cut Death Run)
Find and bring a Skullbutts back to a Stronghold or win it in Death Run, then use it to destroy enemy vehicles.

Safe Sex - Defeat 6 vehicles by grinding
Grind over Matter - Defeat 24 vehicles by grinding - Repeatable
Requirements: Ripperoni Rim upgrade
After buying a Rim upgrade, you can grind cars by driving close to their side. It can be useful do damage the car by other means and finish it off by grinding.

Ridin' Shotgun - Shoot 10 drivers with the Shotgun
Faster than a Slug - Shoot 30 drivers with a Shotgun - Repeatable
On some vehicles you have to remove the door with the harpoon before you can shot the driver with the Shotgun.

Pit Stop - Pull 5 tires from moving vehicles using the Harpoon
Tire Them Out Pull - 30 tires from moving vehicles using the Harpoon - Repeatable
Requirements: Rim Hook Attachment upgrade
You will have to upgrade the Harpoon before you can remove tires. Rembember that the tires have to be removed from moving vehicles.

Major Blowout - Shoot 30 tires on moving vehicles with the Shotgun
Just use the Shotgun and shoot tires on moving vehicles.

Sparks Will Fly - Defeat a Sideblender or Metal Grinder while driving a Sideblender or Metal Grinder
Requirements: Sideblender or Metal Grinder (Neck Snappin' Death Run)
After getting one of the cars find another Sideblender or Metal Grinder and destroy it. The easiest way is to destroy one in the Death Run itself, because the cars always appear in it.

My Little Friend - Defeat 3 vehicles while driving the Buggy
Requirements: Chum's Buggy (Dinky-Dee Wasteland mission)
Use the buggy to destroy enemy vehicles.

Bang for the Buck - Destroy 15 vehicle mounted fuel tanks with the Shotgun
Just destroy fuel tanks with the Shotgun, which will be the way you take out most vehicles early in the game.

Scrotus Kebab - Defeat 1 Scrotus vehicle while driving a Prickles
Requirements: Prickles (Buckle Down Death Run)
Get a Prickles and destroy a Scrots vehicle.

Bug Eye Crush - Defeat 1 Buzzard vehicle while driving a Crusher
Requirements: Chruser (Heat Haze Death Run Death Run)
Use a Crusher and destroy a Buzzard vehicle, you will find one if you search at night.

Backdraft - Defeat 2 Fire Raiders while driving the ''Sanguine Guardian'' Archangel
Requirements: Sanguine Guardian Archangel
Use the Archangel to destroy Fire Raiders, if you can't find any, spawn some from a Stronghold and call the Archangel with a flare.

Rule the Day - Shoot 2 fuel tanks on moving vehicles using the Sniper Rifle, while driving the ''Rule of War'' Archangel
Requirements: Rule of War Archangel
Same as the Point and Shoot challenge, only you have to use the Archangel.

Offshoot - Without using a Wasteland Jump, achieve 2 seconds of air time while driving the Buggy, 3 times
Requirements: Chum's Buggy (Dinky-Dee Wasteland mission)
You can get this at the start of the game when you drive the Buggy. Before entering Chum's Hideout, go to the cliffs near the gate to the Graveyard. Drive of three times. This challenge can also be done when you control the Buggy later in the game, the cliffs outside Jeet's stronghold is one good place to do it.

Angel without Wings - Without using a Wasteland Jump catch 3 seconds of air time while driving the ''Lord Gravel'' Archangel, 1 time
Requirements: Lord Gravel Archangel
See the Through the Eye of the Needle Wastland challenge for a good spot to get this challenge with the Archangel.

Bullheaded - Defeat 12 vehicles going head to head while using Boost
Headbutter - Defeat 24 vehicles going head to head while using Boost - Repeatable
Requirements: Dual Nitro Boost
Smash into the front of a vehicle while doing a Boost.

Thorn in Your Side - Defeat 5 vehicles by T-boning
Perpendic You Lar! - Defeat 24 vehicles by T-boning - Repeatable
Destroy vehicles by smashing into their side with the front of your car.

Tire Popper - Shoot out 2 tires on a moving vehicle using the Sniper Rifle
Requirements: Base Sniper Rifle upgrade
Use the Sniper Rifle to hit tires. I recommend being far away from the cars, sniping the cars in a convoy is one easy way to do it.

Point and Shoot - Shoot 2 fuel tanks on moving vehicles using the Sniper Rifle
Requirements: Base Sniper Rifle upgrade
Hit fuel tanks with the Sniper Rifle, it is easier to get a hit than it may look. Again I recommend being far away from the cars, sniping the cars in a convoy is one easy way to do it.

Here's the Big Chief - Defeat 3 Scrotus vehicles with a V8 engine installed

Use the flame pipes onto destroy a car. This is easier against an empty unmoving vehicle.

Signed and Sealed - Destroy 1 vehicle using explosives from a Drop Kicker
Requirements: Drop Kicker (Pothole Ridge)
Find or win the Drop Kicker and use the exploding mines on an enemy vehicle. This is easy to do in the Death Run.

Nudge Nudge - Defeat 5 vehicles using the Side Ram
Death by a Thousand Cuts - Defeat 24 vehicles using the Side Ram - Repeatable
Use the Side Ram attack on vehicles. It may be easier to damage the vehicle before finishing them of with a Side Ram attack.

Tips on Car Combat Challenges (pt. 2)

Where There's Thunder - Defeat 10 vehicles using the Thunderspoon
Firestorm of Fear - Defeat 30 vehicles using the Thunderspoon - Repeatable
Requirements: Thunderspoon of Tenets
You have to unlock the Thunderspoon upgrade, after you do it is quite easy to destroy vehicles with it.

Moving Target - Shoot 20 fuel tanks on moving vehicles - Repeatable
Use the Shotgun or Sniper Rifle, remember that the car must be moving.

Morrison Effect - Defeat 3 vehicles in a storm while driving the Magnum Opus
Destroy vehicles any way you want, while in a storm.

State of Efficiency - Defeat 2 vehicles within 5 seconds of each other while driving the ''Kill Box'' Archangel, 5 times
Requirements: Kill Box Archangel
Use the Archangel and find some enemy vehicles, it may be a good idea to get the cars to stand still, close to each other and damage both, then quickly destroy them both. One way is to destroy one car and quickly shot a Thunderspoon at the other.


Please Drive Faster - Maintain full cruising speed for 1.9 miles (3058 m) while driving the ''Righteous Spike'' Archangel
Requirements: Righteous Spike Archangel
I posted one road you can get this in the screenshot above, but other places may work as well. The trick is to boost often, drive on the road, don't crash and don't make big turns. If you have not gotten the challenge when you reach the ballon continue to Pink Eye's stronghold.

Chicken Soup - Defeat 5 Rammerhead or Skullbutt vehicles by ramming head to head with the level 5 ''Clawjaw Kill Grill''
Requirements: Clawjaw Kill Grill upgrade
You can search for these vehicles in the Wastland, but it is easier to just get one from a Stronghold and use a flare to call Chum. Use the Archangel and ram front to front.

In Your Dreams - Defeat 3 Boarder vehicles with the Thunderspoon
Requirements: Thunderspoon of Tenets upgrade
After you get the Thunderspoon you can go to a convoy to complete this. You can also drive the Carnewagon from a Stronghold (if you have found it or won it in the Heat Haze Deathrace,) and call Chumlee with a flare and destroy it with the Magnum Opus.

Let's Be Overly Specific - Defeat 1 vehicle in a storm while driving the ''Aurelian the Ready'' Archangel
Requirements: Aurelian the Ready Archangel
Make sure to change to the Archangel when a storm is aproching, the find an enemy vehicle and destroy it.

Holy Rolling - Defeat 12 vehicles by ramming while driving the ''Radiant Shadow''
Archangel
Requirements: Radiant Shadow Archangel
Just ram cars any way you want while driving the Archangel.

Strangers on a Train - Maintain grinding contact for at least 5 seconds, 1 time
Requirements: Ripperoni Rims upgrade
Quite easy, just make sure you are close enough to grind. It can be usefull to get a vehicle stuck in some cliffs.

Kill Twitch - Shake 10 jumpers off the Magnum Opus without using a weapon
Let enemies climb onto your car, and shake them of by boosting and doing sharp turns.

Keep It Clean - Defeat 5 vehicles by grinding while driving the ''Cardinal Grinder'' Archangel
Requirements: Cardinal Grinder
See the Safe Sex challenge, it is the same only you have to use the Archangel for this.

Bug Killer - Defeat an enemy, either on foot or in a vehicle, by driving a Kaboom Bug and using explosion
Requirements: Kaboom Bug (Valley of Dust Death Run)
Start the explotion and leave the car close to enemies to get this challenge

Gum Shoe - Defeat 1 vehicle from Stank Gum's battalion while driving the ''Soul Sweeper'' Archangel
Requirements: Soul Sweeper Archangel
After you have gotten all the required parts for the Archangel, you will need to find a Stank Gum vehicle, many are driving around in the Dumps (Deep Friah's territory)

Stick It to Ya - Kill 15 enemies by using Boarder Spikes
Requirements: Rear Barbs
To get this you should have the best Boarder Spike upgrade. You need to find Boarder vehicles whit enemies that jump on your car, and hope they hit the spikes. Boarder vehicles usually appear in convoys, so get this challenge before you destroy all convoy leaders. Boarder vehicles also appear in the Wasteland but searching for them can be tedious, so convoys are the best way to get this challenge.

you can no longer get the "up to the task" achievement, due to Mad Max's servers having been shut down in 2020. if you find a savegame with the achievement online, you might get the achievement upon loading it up
