Intro To Loli Guides
Yes, I'm a girl. Yes, I'm a Collector. Yes, I'm Loli.

Moving on from bad tumblr and twitch jokes though, I really enjoy this game and had it both in illegal and legal download and I'm still playing through it to try and get all the cool things the game has to offer. Most of my guides will feature my character Loli Jugs as out main heroine since she is my first character, and maybe every once in a while we'll also have guest stars from Tori Lamor and Serra Dunes.

Either way, SOG has a lot to offer in its small playthrough time of about 3 hours if you like to grind for the best weapons and armor in the game and complete all the quests and puzzle blocks and secret chests, and most of my guides will go about the best way of making sure you get the most out of your class, your talent points, your enemies, and hopefully, your card grinds.
Leveling Your Talent Points
Talent Orbs are amazing. This is one of the few games where I feel like you can actually see the impact of the talents you level most of the time, though there are some exceptions to the rule, like the EP. Doesn't feel all that much more useful unless you save up all your points and max it all at once.

So from what I can gather there are two different types of talents you can level: static and dynamic. Static talents are things like crit chance, Chilling Touch, Second Wind, and things like that where, regardless of your level or gaining a level, will stay at whatever number it gives you. For instance, a level 1 with a point in Chilling Touch and a level 20 with one point in it will both have a 5% chance of slowing an enemy with the Chill debuff, regardless of when the level 20 leveled it. On the flipside, we have dynamic, which, depending on when you level it, may have some long-term consequences, talents tha say "increseases by 'x amount' per level." My theory is that leveling these first (at least the few that you want early game) will gain you more stats each time you level up, and if someone can prove me wrong on this, then half the guide is useless.

So how should you spend your points? Well, the most obvious is to go into whatever your class and check out what you can find there. General sports the Health dynamic skill and Adaptive, which is minor increase to MATK and ATK. Melee and Magic have the different skills which are like Adaptive but specialize to that class. In the first few levels and talent points in health and whatever class atack you feel like you'll be using the most. Loli is a One-hander Ice battlemage, so I put a lot of emphasis on her MATK when it comes to her casting, for instance. If you want to be a frontliner Two-Hander, for instance, you should definitely think about maxing your Health General Talent first, so that by level 20, you'll have a lot more health as it will accumulate per level, rather than putting more talent points in other "more fun" skills like Crit, or Chilling Touch or Insult to Injury. Also even if you don't want to be a frontliner, you may want to consider putting a couple value points into Health anyway in case your team gets overhwelmed and they need a rezzer or someone to have just enough health to tank a boss hit in order to finish it off.

Because I don't want to bore people for my frist Steam guide, I'll end it right here on a summary. Every skill for your path that says "by level" somewhere in its description is definitely worth maxing first, while things that give you unchanging percentages are worth getting later. Enjoy the game, and if you need someone for arcade or story mode, feel free to add me.

Just use a health potion?

So far, no healing items, amet. I first thought it was a big issue too, though. Your best bet is just to grind enemies until hoarde mode (refer to Loli's Card Guide for that) and then collectively move two rooms away from that and back in to replenish health.

are there any skills or items that can heal you? because health orbs start becoming a big issue when playing with allies because we can't share them.

That was what I thought, but I was sort of hoping my theory was correct. Thanks though, jse.

Increases X amount per level is in regards to the skill in which your leveling, from there it takes the base amount of hp/attack/magic you would have at that current level, and depending on your skill's level it will multiply it by that %. There is no consequence as to how early or late you put points in to these types of skills.
