There's a demo! Sort of...
Another New Trailer - WOOOT!!!
Release date: Spring of 2018
This is Ultra Dance Murder
Ultra Dance Murder is a challenging twin stick arcade shooter with a fantastic heart pounding 80's styled synthwave soundtrack, glitch art aesthetic, dance inspired combat, and local multiplayer gameplay that either builds or destroys friendships. Don't have friends? That's fine, AI will always be your friend. Play as hackers Tom and Jane who uncover a leak in anti virus and delve further into the secrets that the company has been hiding.

Play the original!
It isn't a demo, it's a full game with the original outline of what Ultra Dance Murder was going to be. However, the game is being remastered and remade from the ground up better than ever. Still play it though, what's there to lose when it is free? Play here !

. Full gamepad and mouse&keyboard support, but thumbs over fingers any day.
. Did I mention the awesome soundtrack by Beardmont (Three Chain Links)?
. Time Trial Mode - The main single player story campaign with linear hard as nails levels that will push you further than any other twinstick shooter with boss fights and a timer that will have you coming back to refine your playstyle and try the many weapons offered to dispatch your foes.
. Deathmatch - Over 10 maps (there will be much more on final release) of fast paced player on player or player on computer action.
. Co-op - Can you reach the end of this bullet hell? AI friend available.
. And more to come! The game if greenlit will be updated regularly with bug fixes, patches, free content with tons more gameplay than the hours already currently in the game.

About the team
It's just me Steven from StevenHarmonGames, and my partner James who makes the music. I started out working on the game as almost a personal jam project over a year ago to make a simple yet stylized shooter, but then on the end of the first week of development I found Jame's music on a steam thread and after that the game grew and grew until it wasn't just one small level, but a full game in it's entirety. The game had a few set backs, was put on the back burner for a while, but now is back and better than ever! We're simply two guys who want to take part of the creation of video games, because we've grown up with them, been engrossed with them, and want to show the world that they are an art form.

@Camaron - Yeah Hotline Miami and bullet hell shooters are great inspiration for UDM. Trying to make a game that combines the best of both worlds of twinstick. Game was on a long hiatus because of school and life. However, back on track with development. A lot of changes will be made, so the features may be scaled back a bit for greater depth with each mode. Can't wait to hopefully release spring of 2018.

Cool music, retro graphics, and arcade shooter mechanics = WIN!

10/10 for this game. Didn't expect much when I found out abut from an advertisement Steven put up on a cork-board in our school's hallway.

Good luck Steven!
