Toma Full Endings + CG Guide

A guide to getting all four of Toma's endings and all of his CGs. Also includes general tips for those who don't want a full walkthrough.

Introduction

This guide is the third in a series, intended to help you clear all four of Toma’s endings and all CGs obtainable from his route. (Do note that even if you follow this guide, you'll still be missing the third-last one in his gallery; that's a special CG only obtainable in Ukyo's route.) First off will be some general gameplay advice, then some tips on dealing with Toma if you’re struggling but don’t want to use a full walkthrough. After that is a step-by-step guide to Toma’s good end, followed by instructions on how to get his three other endings. I hope you find this helpful, and do comment if you have anything to add!

General Tips

• I don’t think the options you choose before the route split matter terribly, but I’ll update this if I find out otherwise.
  
• It can often take a little while for your parameters to update after making a choice, so if you’re not sure you’ve picked correctly, it’s best to save before a choice and check what’s changed once you hit the next split or scene.
  
• Unlike some other visual novels, it’s entirely possible for your Affection and Trust to go down. This means you’ll sometimes be picking “safe” options which won’t appear to raise your parameters; this is because other options will wind up lowering them instead.
  
• Suspicion can also go up or down, and you’ll need to try keep it low for the Good End. To get the Bad End, raise suspicion while wearing Affection and Trust down. (Note that acting strangely around any character, not just your love interest, can raise Suspicion.) I’m not sure if there’s a hard and fast rule about Normal Ends yet, though, so just stick to consulting their sections.
  
• When reading the walkthrough, do note that not all endings require the same amount of choices. In particular, the full path to the Good End tends to have additional content.

General Tips on Toma

• Suspicion caps immediately in Toma’s route, and a special fourth parameter appears in its place. The Doubt meter represents how much the heroine doubts what Toma is telling her, and it increases when he acts strangely or you contradict him.
  
• Despite their names, Doubt actually isn’t the opposite of Trust; some Doubt options will actually raise Affection or Trust, if not both. Make of that what you will.
  
• Unlike Suspicion, you don’t have to worry as much if your Doubt goes up. Choosing options that involve Toma acting strangely or contradicting himself tend to make Doubt go up, as do options where you question Toma’s actions. These occur between 06/08 and 14/08.
  
• Conversations with Orion that aren’t about Toma usually don’t count for much.
  
• Getting Toma’s Good End sometimes means that you’ll have to choose an option which might make you (as the player) uncomfortable in order to raise Trust or Affection, especially if Doubt isn’t involved. An example would be telling Shin “Yes…” on 17/08.

Toma Good End: "You really have bad taste in men."

Toma’s Good End requires having a high Doubt score; when reading this walkthrough, a starred dialogue option indicates that the response raises Doubt. Ignoring these options and keeping Doubt down will snag you the Normal End instead. Save before the final choice to get Bad End 1 easily, too.

Toma Normal End: "That bastard..."

Keep Trust and Affection up, but get Doubt up to around medium by choosing about half of the starred questions. You’ll still need to select “Let’s run for it” on 24/08, or else you’ll hit Bad End 1. You’ll know you’ve gotten there when you manage to slip away from Toma during the subsequent events at his house. It has a different epilogue, but no new CGs.

Toma Bad End 1: "I'll take you with me."

An easy ending, which just involves making a poor decision. Can be done as part of the Good or Normal route.

Toma Bad End 2: "We'll be together forever."

Grind down Trust and Affection by being difficult to Toma, but don’t pick the Doubt options. You’ll still need to select “Let’s run for it” on 24/08, though, or else you’ll hit Bad End 1. You’ll know you’ve gotten there when you bump into Toma after running. Weirdly enough, it’s this ending rather than the Normal one which grants you a new CG.

Thanks for the guide. This route was my third and the first one where I needed help. I couldn't have imagined that I had to raise "doubt". Anyway, you missed a choise at...07/08, I think. At the cafe she gets asked by her boss and later by Ukyo, yet there's only one "any option".

Replayed, and I can confirm that you need at least half-doubt to trigger the Normal ending.

I attempted to get the Normal ending by keeping doubt down, but keeping it too low got me Bad End 2. I think you might need doubt at least partway up or you'll get stuck with that ending.
