USSR Machine Guns
Machine Gun level 1

Named the "Pulemyot Kalashnikova" after the famed Russian weapon designer, this iconic Soviet general purpose machine gun has been in service since 1961. With over a million produced it can be found in militaries and third-world militias all over the world.

Machine Gun level 2

At 25kg for the weapon, and 11kg per 50-round ammunition belt, it's no wonder the NSV is often seen mounted on fighting vehicles and tanks. Capable of spraying targets with deadly rain from 2km away this Soviet 50-cal can also perform anti-air duties with a range of 1.5km. In service since 1971.
USSR Mortars
Mortar level 1

The 82 PM 41 was a mid-WW2 redesign of the M-37 mortar capable of firing 3.4kg rounds up to 3km. As with so many Russian "Weapons of Mass Production" the PM 41 was to be found serving in various nations for decades after production ended.

Mortar level 2

This monsterous 120mm WW2 mortar was based on a pre-war French weapon, and produced in such numbers that allowed it to be used in dedicated artillery sections. Naturally the Germans decided it was worth copying (and imporving) with the 12 cm Granatwerfer 42.

Mortar level 3

You see that big cyka Sergi? That is the Sani mortar, 120mm of death at 7km! I hear they even have laser guided shells these days. The whole thing was probably just a clever ruse to sell more GAZ 66 trucks to tow the damned thing.
USSR Anti-tank
Anti-tank level 1

The iconic RPG-7 has been in use since 1961, providing infantry with a means to poke holes in up to 600mm of armour at up to 200m range. The warheads contain both an initial launching charge followed by a propulsive motor charge, a mechanism which oddly has the effect of causing the warhead to turn into a crosswind.

Anti-tank level 2

The B-10 is an 82mm smoothbore recoiless rifle introduced in 1954. Firing HEAT rounds that can pierce 240mm of armour at 400m, it can also provide infantry support with HE rounds. Though nowhere near as powerful as the comparable US M40 recoiless rifle, it provides much greater portability.
USSR Artillery
Artillery level 1

The D-30 Howitzer has been in use since 1963, when it replaced the venerable M-30. Capable of firing shells 15km (or further with special rocket assisted shells that are actually, really a thing that exist) the gun has a distinctive folding three leg stabiliser system and swivel. It can also be maintained with just a hammer and wrench.

Artillery level 2

The 2A36 Giantsin-B is a 152mm field gun that debuted in 1975. With a normal range of 30km, the manufacturer claims that a battery of eight guns can put more than one tonne of ammunition on a target area every minute. Also capable of firing atomic ammunition of the 0.1-0.2 kiloton yield range
USSR Anti-air
Anti-air level 1

Dual 23mm autocannons make the Zenitnaya Ustanovka deadly as a close anti-aircraft gun as well as a ground support weapon. Mounted as a special trailer it can be unpacked and set up in under a minute. It can fire fused HE rounds or solid steel rounds at 400rpm, though due to overheating short bursts must be fired.

Anti-air level 2

The most widely used surface-to-air missile system in history, the S-75 Dvina claimed the first recorded SAM kill in 1957. In 1960 it also famously shot down a US U-2 spyplane over the USSR. With a range of 45km and a speed of up to Mach 3.5, these missiles were most often deployed in distinctively “flower” arranged defensive batteries.

@Plasman Man I wish I could chime in on a few of the turrets; I really would have loved to see your take on the makeshifts for the Russians.

Didn't get around to adding all of the weapons from the game to this guide. One day I'm sure I will , though I don't think many people read it :(
