Introduction

Hej and welcome to this guide featuring all new units added to the game! Every unit will be showcased in the category of it's class; bot, vehicle, air, naval and orbital. As a bonus the new buildings will be shown as well. Titans are not shown in this guide and for this I would like to refer to my other guide

All units will be shown with their metal costs, HP and other properties if applicable.
New Bot Units
Spark



Stats

Ingame description: Tesla Bot- Very high damage over an area. Uses energy. Attacks land targets.

The new tier 1 bot. This bot is more expensive than a dox (40) and a grenadier (100). For this price it gives a very large amount of damage which spreads out across the impact zone as seen in this screenshot:


The downside to this is the energy usage of one unit. A large amount of sparks is therefore not a good option eco-wise in early game unless rushing. One small generator can support 3 sparks in combat. A large generator can support 25 sparks in combat.

Locusts

Ingame description: Nanobot Swarm- Extremely fast. Cheap. Close range. Devastating damage. Attacks land targets.

Info

One of the two new tier 2 bots. It has an amazing attack speed and destroys units fast in swarms. Its cheap metal cost allows for the construction of large numbers of locusts. Preferably used against slow single target units or buildings. It can move over land as well as water. It is a great choice to use with a unit cannon due to it's difficulty in reaching enemies before being killed.

Colonel

Ingame description:
Proxy Commander -- Builds advanced structures. Durable. High damage. Attacks everything but orbital.

This tier 2 bot is capable of building the exact same buildings as an advanced bot constructor which costs 1800 metal. For the 6200 metal difference you get a strong fighter that builds around twice as fast. It does not have the energy cannon your main commander has but it does have the small cannon, making it great at defending itself. Like your main commander, it can also walk underwater.
New Vehicle Units
Drifter



Stats

Ingame description: Hover Tank- Fast. Can cross water and lava. Attacks land and sea targets.

Info

The Drifter is a tier 1 vehicle capable of traversing land as well as water and lava, which is quite rare. It's speed is quite good and it's DPS is more than two times as high as the standard tank's. In exchange it is 75 metal more expensive.

Storm

Ingame description: Flak Tank- Damage over a very wide area. Only attacks air targets.

Info

The Storm is the new tier two Anti-Air (AA) tank, succeeding the good old tier one AA. It adds a great defense against any air unit, being a must against the Zeus or the newly added Wyrm. It's wide AoE allows for fast removal of enemy air armies such as bomber spam. It is also a great addition to any attack force for the necessary air removal.

Manhattan

Ingame description: Mobile Nuke- Detonates a nuke on death. Slow. Extremely durable. Self-destruct attack.

As the description says, this heavily armored tank is a rolling nuke. It has 3000 HP more than a vanguard and costs 6500 metal more. This gives you the same explosion as a standard nuke which is ~45000 metal. In exchange it gives you a slow and vulnurable nuke. Without escort it is easily countered by artillery, air or expendable forces like doxxes. Luckily even if destroyed by the enemy this tank will always detonate into a destructive explosion. It cannot be picked up by a pelican or astraeus but it can traverse through water, portals and even the Helios, making you able to deploy it as an instant nuke!

Ingame description: Solar Drone- Produces energy. Mobile but slow. Weak. Attacks land, air and sea targets.

This very weak air unit produces a nice amount of energy and is able to simultaniously attack defenseless enemies like air and ground fabbers. As a disadvantage this unit is one-shotted by anything that can target it. This means it is best used together with an escort of anti-air and anti-AA. If defended well, this airforce can be used as a mobile substitute for immobile energy generators, ensuring you have a steady income of energy as long as it remains unattacked.

Wyrm

Ingame description: Siege Bomber- Durable. Slow. Devastating damage. Attacks land and sea targets.

Info

This airplane is the tank of the air units. It has a large amount of health and insane amounts of damage. In exchange it has a small range and slow speed for an aircraft. It also requires energy to operate (5/6th of a small energy generator) but offers a great eradication unit, alone or in combination with anti-air support and anti-AA support. A favorite of mine to make when you don't know what to build..

Angel

Ingame description: Support Platform- Repairs nearby units. Intercepts homing missiles. Does not attack.

Info

A new tier two unit closely resembling a combat droid without mines. It offers insane repair speeds of your units combined with protection vs enemies such as the catapult. In exchange this unit costs quite some metal.
New Naval Units
Barnacle



Stats

Ingame description: Support Barge- Repairs damaged ships. Builds and detects mines. Cannot help build things.

Info

This new tier 1 naval unit is the equivalent of a combat droid with it's ability to place mines on water (ironically called land mines ingame) and repair friendly units at great speed.

Kaiju

Ingame description: Hover Destroyer- Long-Range. Durable. Hover. Attacks land and sea targets.

Info

Being the big brother of the drifter, this hovercraft is build by T2 naval factories. It has a nice range combined with enough firepower and health to stand it's ground against a force of T1 units or basic base defenses. Although it is listed as a hover unit, it cannot move through portals.

Typhoon

Ingame description: Drone Carrier- Builds and launches missile drones at enemies. Attacks land, air and sea targets.

Info

This expensive T2 naval unit has no offense of it's own. However, it rapidly builds an army of small and fragile battle droids that explode after ~40 seconds. When no anti-air is near this ship it is GREATLY overpowered, being able to produce around 1 droid / second when the needed eco is available. A group of these ships is easily capable of destroying any army that doesn't sport large anti-air quantities. This unit offers a great tide-turner to a naval strategy, bypassing enemies that focus on anti-naval offense.
New Orbital Units
Hermes

Ingame description: Space Probe- fast. Cheap. Expendable. Provides ground vision. Does not attack.

Info

This space probe is exactly what the description tells it. It is destroyed by almost any unit able to target orbital with 1 shot. To compensate this it is fast and cheap. It is a great unit used with the patrol command swarm the enemy with when following up with a Helios, avenger armada or anything alike. It is constructed at the orbital factory.

Artemis

Ingame description: Railgun Platform- Long-range. High damage. Very low rate of fire. Uses energy. Attacks orbital.

Info

The Artemis is a single target orbital sniper with great damage for an orbital unit. It's low HP means it is destroyed by a group of avengers easily if they get in range. This does not mean it isn't a great unit perfect for taking out anchors by outranging them or for clearing enemy orbital areas in general. Invasions are possible with this unit but only if enough units are sent to destroy the majority of surrounding enemy units. It requires energy to operate (3 units / small energy generator) but this should not be a large problem once you're able to make these units.

Omega

Ingame description: Orbital Battleship- Rapid-Fire. Very durable. Heavy damage. Attacks everything.

Info

Being one of the strongest orbital units besides the Helios, this unit offers a good attack speed combined with good HP and average speed. It can target anything, making it a nice poking device. It is superior in orbital combat compared to the higher hit points that terrastial units sport, but can still apply enough force if no anti-orbital measures were taken.
Building Changes


Only three changes occured to the building system. The torpedo launchers have been redesigned with some changes and the Lob has been added:

Lob

Ingame description: Bot Launcher- Builds and fires bots at nearby targets.

Info

This long range building fires a barrage of Doxxes. It is a great way of surpassing mountains or fortified walls with turrets along the way. It also offers defensive options due to the long range, being able to fire doxes into incoming armies, in front of them, behind friendly walls etc.

Torpedo Launchers

They can now be placed on terrain and shoot missiles towards ships in their reach from there. The animation for this is bugged, showing the missile going into terrain. (this makes me wonder if they're supposed to be placeable there)
