KMS Bismarck Class Battleship

The Bismarck-class Battleship of WW2.

I made this ship as close to full scale as i could. Since FtD uses 1m square blocks some things, such as armor, are impossible to size correctly so for every 100mm of plating the real ship had, I added 1 block in game; so thickest armor on the belt and turret faces is 3-4 metal blocks. Most of the superstructure is made of alloy for weight reduction in order to achieve the correct draft.

There is a fully accessible interior however it's mostly made of the primary bulkheads (made of wood for weight reduction) and the majority of them are empty except for fuel, ammo, and engine compartments.

A key feature of the Bismarck class was its speed. The real ship was able to achieve 30 knots (15 m/s)... however, FtD does not have anything that produces that amount of thrust with only 3 propellers sooooo...

Features:
- False waves and Baltic Dazzle camouflage scheme
- Main Battery = 8 x 38 cm (15 in) guns (increased RoF for better playability)
- Secondary Battery = 12 x 15 cm (6 in) guns
- AA & AAA Batteries consists of 16 x 10.5 cm (4 in) guns & 22 x Auto Cannons
- 3 x Rangefinding / Radar Turrets and 6 x smaller targetting towers are each slaved to 4 weapon groups (Anton & Bruno, Caesar & Dora, and Secondary / AAA Batteries)
- 3 x Engine Rooms, no boilers :(
- no Arado scout aircraft :(
