Introduction
We've all encountered the time of when we gotta kill these bosses, and some of us struggle, some of us fear them, but with the 1.3 update, all troubles shall sease with the addition of one of the most overpowered items so far!

The Daedalus Stormbow This is by far, one of the best ranged weapons in the game, and is a really good weapon to use against the 3 bosses.
The Arena
The arena is simple to make. Just head to the surface of your world (and far away from your NPC's), and start mining out a large open space. Cut down trees, mine dirt, stone, and anything else in the way, to create at least an 80 block long area.

Place sunflowers if you'd like to help you run faster, and reduce any encoming enemy spawns. Placing at least one every 15 blocks should make the buff run throughout the entire arena.

Something like that will do.
Armor, Weps, and Accessories
The three mechanical bosses are no easy task, and as such, you need the right tools for the job.

Armor

Orichalcum Armor (Helmet/Ranged Variant) If you dont have Orichalcum in your world, then the ranged variants of the Titanium or Adamentite armor will do. Basically, the ranged variant allows you to dish out more damage with your bow, and with the Orichalcum variant, the petal bonus will help you deal even more damage with the soon to be mentioned OP arrows. (Not sure why the background is white, w/e ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Weapons

Daedalus Stormbow. As already mentioned, this bow is quite strong. It uses 1 arrow, while shooting 4 instead. 1:4 ratio, that's pretty good, 300% damage increase from a normal 1 arrow shooting bow. One thing that is off about this bow is it's projectile pattern. The arrows fall from the sky, so in an enclosed space, these arrows will hit the blocks that prevent them from falling, so be aware of that if you plan to fight in a box. To get this bad boy, you need to kill Hallowed Mimics, which randomly spawn in undeground hallow or summon one by getting a key of light (made from 15 souls of light) and putting into an empty chest (still in the underground hallow). They look like this: They are very dangerous, so be prepared for a fight. Oh, and the bow only drops 25% of the time :P

Now, what arrows would you use? Holy Arrows These bad boys makes your battle possible. The arrow doesn't pierce, but the 2 stars it drops upon impact, can pierce 2 times. So lets do some quick math. 1 arrow is used from your inventory to shoot 4 arrows from the sky. Currently, you are doing 4 arrows-worth of damage if all of the hit. Then come the stars, which do half of the arrow damage. 8 Stars will drop, meaning you deal an additional 4 arrows-worth of damage. If they can pierce one time, 12 arrows-worth, and 16 arrows-worth if it pierces it's maximum of 2 times. That's a whole 16 arrows on one opponent, with one arrow! That is a good 1k damage, with said arrow.

You would most likely want at least 2 stacks of this stuff. They are made from 200 Wooden Arrows, 3 Pixie Dust, and 1 Unicorn Horn at a Mythril/Orchalcum Anvil.

Accessories

REQUIRED:

Magic Quiver. This rare drop from Archer Skeletons is a must for any bow user. 10% arrow damage and speed, and 20% chance not to consume your arrows. The arrow speed is increadibly good for the Stormbow, as the arrows will just hit the bosses much quicker.

Any wings. With wings at your disposal, you can really run around faster, and move quicker through the battlefield. The better tier of wings that you can get, the better.

RECOMMENDED:

Obsidian Shield. Or ankh shield if you are able to get it some how, through some, miraculous ways. Knockback is really a pain in the ass, especially in boss battles, being brought down quickly and knocked back and forth between the boss is not a likeable thing.

Ranger Emblem. 15% more damage with ranged weapons. What more too say? 1000 + 15% = 1150. That's a good amount of extra damage.

Star Veil. Keeping in theme of purples and stars, the veil allows you to survive and react a bit more when you get hit, and you drop a few stars on the enemy as well.

Lightning Boots. Vroom vroom, gotta go fast. You will run much faster, and fly further if you can get these bad boys, as they are fairly simple to come by, but sometimes it's best to replace them for more defensive, or offensive accessories instead, but it's your choice.
TL;DR Version
Didn't bother to read this essay of a guide? No problem!

Step 1: Make a long flat surface.
Step 2: Get Daedalus Stormbow, holy arrows, and quivers.
Step 3: Summon the bosses, juke, run and fly for your life while shooting. (Make sure to stay with Christ!)
Step 4: Focus Destroyer > Twins > Skeletron Prime
Step 5: Profit!
1.4 Update
Lol I haven't played much since 2018. Heard the stormbow was nerfed in 1.4, same with the holy arrows now having one pierce of the star. Then again, those are just number right, some small tweaks to this set up here and there would still make this worthwhile. I'd suggest looking for Crit modifiers on all gear, and switching arrows from Holy to Hellfire. They appear to have not received any changes in 1.4, and the explosion radius would work rather well in the set up we have.
Conclusion
Well, this is all I can say. I've had it easy with this style against the bosses in 1.3. I honestly struggled often in 1.2 trying to defeat them, but I realised there was an easier way as of the major update. Here is a video of the boss battles in one night:

i lost the video lol

Thank you, and good luck against the Mechanical Bosses!
