{OUTDATED} How to play Rocco and not get yelled at
De Lore?
THIS GUIDE IS OUTDATED AND I'M TOO LAZY TO UPDATE IT.

ERMAGERD CHERECTER WIF GLEBEL SKELSHET GUNE BI MLGZ SNIP AL DA PEOPLZ

This seems to be the mentality of most Rocco pickers. I don't blame you, that was my mentality as well. It's essentially the only reason to pick Rocco over other 'nauts.
But the quality of Rocco pickers differs DRASTICALLY. From "The kill secure master" to "GG We lost because we're playing 2v3", the usefulness of Rocco is vastly different depending on who's playing him.

So here's some basics dos and don'ts that I found over the course of "Roccomainia"

This is Rocco
Congratulations!
You just unlocked this feathered bastard as a character:

This is Rocco, if you didn't know. He's got a cool bow and he used to be a cop. He's also a cockney vigeo conens swerng :c bird (a White Hawk, to be exact), but he can't fly for some reason. ಠ_ಠ (Hence he's down.)
White Hawk Down. Kappa.

He's got an interesting array of skills that makes him unique when compared to all the other 'nauts in the game.
Let's take a look at them:

Precision Shot
This is a ranged AoE-ish skill-shot that has the unique ability of going through bloody everything. Precision Shot's shot what else? will go through droids, terrain, enemy minion spawns (Swiggins' Hook, Gnaw's Weedlings, Skree's Totem) until it hits an enemy Awesomenauts. When it hits a 'naut, it will "explode" (There's basically no AoE for the explosion unless you get the AoE upgrade) dealing damage.

This ability is currently the only global ranged nuke in the game. This puts a lot of pressure on Rocco players, since they can make or break the game based on how good their aim is.

Ability's Strengths: Global Skill-shot. Can be upgraded to do modestly high damage or stun. Can be upgraded to have a very low cool-down (if one can hit consistently with it). Deals it's damage in a large AoE if upgraded.
Ability's Weaknesses: Has to be aimed. Has to be charged (or else it will be affected by Gravity). Very weak before upgraded.
Other things: There is a projectile speed to take account for when using this ability. The projectile speed can be increased with upgrades.

Vengeance
This is essentially an "attack modifier". When activated, Rocco's regular attack (Rapid Arrows, the skill listed below) and Precision Shot will slow enemies on hit. In addition, Rocco's (fairly high) movement penalty while shooting is completely removed when Vengeance is activated, allowing him to chase/kite/juke more effectively.

This ability is rather unique since, along with the fact that it's essentially the only activatable "attack modifier" in the game, it's duration increases per successful hit with Rapid Arrows. A good Rocco player can get several seconds out of Vengeance, allowing him/her to keep the enemy close for a long time and make use of the various other benefits that Vengeance can provide.

Ability's Strengths: Activatable Attack Modifier. Consistent slow on hit. Removed movement speed penalty while shooting. Long ranged slow that can be a powerful tool for assisting with kills. Can be upgraded to turn Precision Shot into a long ranged stun. Can increase movement speed if it lasts long enough. Can be used to heal. Can technically increase DPS if the Homing Bullet upgrade is taken.
Ability's Weaknesses: Extremely long cool-down (20 seconds!). Need to consistently hit to keep the duration up. Rather weak before upgraded. Fairly large Solar sink.
Other things: Vengeance can effectively last forever with a certain combination of upgrades listed later in this guide.

Rapid Arrows
Rocco's default attack. This ability shoots two because one is not enough! arrows per shot. Each arrow is an independent projectile. Both arrows can hit the same target, or each arrow can hit a different target.

Other than the fact that this ability shoots two (or 3 if upgraded) projectiles at once there isn't much to really mention about this ability.

Ability's Strengths: Multiple projectiles (2 at base, 3 if upgraded. Technically up to 6 if you count Split-Shot) Decent DPS. One of the longest base ranges in the game. Extremely long range when upgraded (Especially if Range and Split-Shot are combined). Can be upgraded to make projectiles split, increasing range and effectively increasing DPS.
Ability's Weaknesses: Very high movement speed reduction while shooting (if Vengeance is inactive). Fairly large Solar sink.

Bird Hop
This is the point in time where we talk about Rocco's health, movement speed, and jump mechanics! Oh boy, the boring stuff!

Rocco's Jump is very high. It's only a single jump, however.

Rocco's Movement Speed is on the higher end of the spectrum. He becomes very fast with Space Air Max.

Rocco's Health is one of his core weaknesses. He's very easy to kill if caught off-guard, and is very susceptible to nukes.

Stats Strengths: Good movement speed. Very good jump height.
Stats Weaknesses: Low health.
Build-a-Bird Workshop - Precision Shot
So now you know about Rocco's abilities,
Let's discuss his upgrades, and the usefulness of each one.

HOW THIS WORKS:
Abilities will be graded with one of 5 stats. From best to worst these are:
Mandatory
Very Good
Good
Decent
Bad
So anyways:

Precision Shot
Classics
Increases the damage of precision shot.
Can't beat a classic!

Mandatory

Why: It's damage. As the ability states it's self, you "Can't beat a classic!". Rocco's Precision Shot deals a pitiful 300 base damage, which can be almost completely healed off by killing any neutral droid. Every upgrade will increase the damage by 15% (of the base. It's not exponential). By upgrading, the 300 damage goes up to 345/390/435 per stage, turning the "meh, I can shrug this off" damage that can be healed near-instantly to an "ech, that hurt" portion of the health bar. It can still be shrugged off, but not as easily.

Magnetic Police Light
Increases the speed of precision shot.
This police light runs on bio fuel cells and sticks to any spacecraft!

Good

Why: The usefulness of this ability is largely dependent on the user. Extra projectile speed can make hitting considerably easier. The only real issue with taking projectile speed is that it's not another (potentially) more useful upgrade. The issue that I personally have (and a lot of other people {including you} may have) is that it's hard to adjust to the increased projectile speed. Leading targets with the increased projectile speed can be somewhat harder. Ultimately, this upgrade feels like a crutch for newer players who are having trouble hitting Precision Shot. It's technically one of Rocco's weaker upgrades, and I'd personally rather not learn two different velocities.

Birdseed Donuts
Increases the drawing speed of precision shot.
These donuts are spiked with superfood killi seeds!

Good

Why: For those of you who like to MLG Snipe people from across the map this is a godsend. The draw speed for Precision Shot, while short, is noticeable. This upgrade will essentially remove the draw speed entirely, allowing you to have an arrow ready in about a second, instead of in two seconds. Again, this upgrade best serves it's purpose for long-ranged Rocco players, as it allows for more consistent shots, since you'll have to spend less time target tracking while waiting for an arrow to get ready.

Nicotine Patches
Every successful hit with precision shot will reduce its cooldown.
With nicotine from the nightshade farms on Kapral within the Omicron.

Very Good

Why: If you can consistently hit with Precision Shot key-word being "consistently" then this upgrade is a godsend. Every Precision Shot that hits will reduce the cool-down of your next shot by 3 seconds, effectively reducing the cool-down of the ability to 4 seconds. The important thing to note is that the cool-down starts when you shoot the arrow, not when it hits/flies off screen, hence at longer ranges you can effectively have another arrow ready as soon as your original arrow hits. Again, the key-word with this upgrade is "consistently". If you're accurate with Precision Shot, this upgrade should be the first thing to pick up, as it allows Rocco to harass the enemy very well.

Sticky Cop's Moustache
Increases the speed of rapid arrows when hitting an enemy Awesomenaut with a precision shot.
If you can't grow one, you buy one!

Very Good

Why: This is sort-of the counter-part to Birdseed Donuts. This upgrade promotes a more close-range style, as it grants a huge increase in attack speed (and DPS) after you hit a Precision Shot. While this can be useful for a long-ranged fighter, the main strength of this ability lies in using it with a "face-snipe" Rocco build. This upgrade is essentially the "Vengeance upgrade in the Precision Shot row" that forces a close-ranged Rocco player to pick up Precision Shot in order to be most effective.

Badge and Gun
Makes precision shots explode on impact and deal damage in an area.
Welcome back to the force!

Good

Why: For the team-fight fighter. This upgrade will make Precision Shot explode in a(n actual) AoE (and not in a 1 radius "looks like an AoE but really isn't" explosion like it does at base). The explosion will harm all enemies in the AoE, including droids. This turns Rocco into an Anti-Pusher of sorts, as he can disrupt the enemy's droid forces very well if they keep close to their droids.

My personal picks for Precision Shot:
Classics
Birdseed Donuts
Nicotine Patches

Why: I like using Precision Shot for ranged harassment. Birdseed Donuts allows for shots to be fired fast, and Classics allow those shots to hit (modestly) hard. Nicotine Patches pretty much instantly give you another shot if you hit.
And I always hit hit about 80% of my shots because I'm a dank MLG Rocco.

Build-a-Bird Workshop - Vengeance
Vengeance
Little Johnny
Adds a stun effect to your fully charged precision shot after flying for a short distance while vengeance is on.
Better be careful, that toothpick looks sharp!

Decent

Why: It's weird... If one can consistently again, keyword being "consistently" hit long-ranged Precision Shots with Rocco this upgrade can turn Rocco into a powerful Initiator/Disabler 'naut (especially if combined with Gun and Badge in the Precision Shot row). This upgrade is essentially the "The Precision Shot upgrade in the Vengeance row" that forces a long-ranged Rocco player to pick up Vengeance in order to be most effective. The thing is that this upgrade is rather expensive, and somewhat hard to use well. Again, if one can coordinate with his team this can be used to turn Rocco into a powerful Disabler. If not, it's essentially a waste of a slot to do nothing other than annoy the opposition. (And Gnaw exists for that.)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=478319773

Endless Quiver
Increases the duration of vengeance when hitting enemies with rapid arrows.
Warning! Only stores holo arrows infinity, other objects are destroyed in this hyperspace container.

Very Good

Why: Longer duration for Vengeance. (¬▂¬) The only reason to not take this upgrade is that it's not another (potentially more useful) upgrade. (Or if one is playing a long-raged fighter, since you won't be hitting much with Rapid Arrows anyways.)

Vulpe Bow String
Increases the slowing effect of rapid arrows while vengeance is on.
Harvesting the valuable fur of Vulpes is a dangerous undertaking. The rare material is often found on the blackmarket for extortionate prices.

Good

Why: More slow. ( ˘ ³˘)♥ Sadly, the slow isn't all that powerful. The only reason to not take this upgrade is that it's not another (potentially more useful) upgrade.

Quickdraw Bow
Adds 1 homing arrow to your rapid arrows that will seek out enemy Awesomenauts.
Shoot faster than your own shadow.

Very Good

Why: Effectively increases your DPS when Vengeance is active, and it also effectively increases the duration of Vengeance. A near-mandatory pick-up for close ranged fighters.

Mirakuru
Increases health regen when vengeance is on.
This mix of Pulvan herbs is believed to be a muscle enhancer.

Good

Why: People underestimate regeneration. They underestimated it when I said it was OP on Nibbs, and they'll underestimate it if I call it OP on Rocco. Honestly, it isn't as powerful on Rocco, since you have to actually be hitting something to keep the regen up. Still, it's very powerful, giving a 30/60 HP/second health regeneration when Vengeance is on. If Vengeance is used properly along with this upgrade you can avoid most near-death situations.

Assassin Flags
When vengeance is on for 6s, your movement is increased.
These flags are normally hidden to be found by murderers as a nice mix of activities.

Very Good

Why: Wow. Okay. I didn't realize it gave 10 seconds of +25% speed until I read it over. That duration alone pumped it up from "Good" to "Very good". Anyways, this upgrade obviously increases your movement speed, allowing for some good chases and escapes. The thing is that Vengeance has to be on for at least 6 seconds, and it lasts 5 seconds at base. This means that you have to hit about 10 Rapid Arrows arrows without Endless Quiver (since every shot will add 0.1 seconds to Vengeance at base), or 5 Rapid Arrows arrows with Endless Quiver (Endless Quiver makes every shot give 0.2 seconds to Vengeance) to get the speed buff. If one has good aim with Rapid Arrows one can run fast like Sanic.

My personal picks for Vengeance:
Endless Quiver
Mirakuru
Assassin's Flags

Why: Endless Quiver (along with my upgrades for Rapid Arrows) allows for Infinite Vengeance. Other than that? Mirakuru keeps Rocco in the fight, and Assassin's Flags allows Rocco to make chase (more effectively than with Vulpe Bow String) or escape.
Build-a-Bird Workshop - Rapid Arrows
Rapid Arrows
Cockfight Spurs
Increases the damage of rapid arrows.
EVIDENCE for case #417 A: This illegal weapon should not leave the evidence locker!

Very Good

Why: It's near mandatory, and the only thing keeping it from being mandatory is the fact that it's literally just damage. But basically it's the classic damage. And, again: You "Can't beat a classic!"

Chicken Grill
Adds an additional arrow to your rapid arrows.
"Chicks dig a brown tan!" - Gustavo Pollos the famous actor of the tv show "Breaking Eggs".

Mandatory

Why: Effectively increases your DPS by 12.5%. The damage reduction will affect all arrows, not just the extra one. But still, it's a third arrow. (3 X 75) 225 > (2 X 100) 200 Also, the extra arrow will charge Vengeance up more, making it even more useful.

Rocketpack
Increases the range of rapid arrows.
Covered in penguin blood, this is probably a relic from the Frozen Yoghurt War.

Decent

Why: Rocco's base range is already very large (9, rivaled only by Yuri's laser with a base range of 9 as well). The extra range only really serves it's purpose when combined with Cutlet Frills Ghilly Suit (upgrade listed below). Even then, it's a more-or-less situational upgrade that only really serves the purpose of decreasing Rocco's DPS for the sake of having a "high attack speed Precision Shot".

Cutlet Frills Ghilly Suit
When there are no enemies near you, your rapid arrows will deal more damage.
Stay hidden and delicious!

Decent

Why: This upgrade serves two builds: The pusher Rocco build, and the "high attack speed Precision Shot" Rocco build. Both of these are sub-par builds in my opinion. This upgrade should only be taken if you're doing a very good job of back-dooring the enemy, or you're building Rocketpack to take full advantage of the damage. It's near impossible to take full advantage of Rocco's "Max DPS", as it would require Cockfight Spurs, Chicken Grill, and Cutlet Frills Ghilly Suit, and you'd have to keep at a constant 7+ range (the max being 10, since you wouldn't have Rocketpack) to use it. It would be much better to have consistently decent DPS over situationally high DPS.

SWCA Coin
Rapid arrows will split after hitting enemies. These arrows deal less damage.
This coin represents 5 years of membership of Shiny Weapons Hoarders Anonymous!

Very Good

Why: Split Shot effectively increases Rocco's Range, and it also effectively increases his DPS. When fighting 1v1 it isn't very practical, but otherwise it's near mandatory. Also, the split arrows will charge Vengeance as well! This upgrade is one of the key upgrades for Infinite Vengeance!

Diffused Hawk Bomb
Rapid arrows will now reduce the cooldown of precise shot.
"This prop bomb was used in the best movie ever made." - Mr. Heathside

Very Good

Why: Honestly I haven't bothered trying this out. But the uses are quite obvious. This is ideal for the close-ranged Rocco player, as this upgrade (along with Sticky Cop's Moustache and Nicotine Patches) allows for near-instant reuse of Precision Shot.

My personal picks for Rapid Arrows:
Cockfight Spurs
Chicken Grill
SWCA Coin

Why: Chicken Grill and SWCA Coin (along with the Vengeance upgrades listed above) allows for infinite Vengeance (as well as a ton of spam!). Cockfight Spurs is an extra taken purely for the sake of increasing DPS.
Build-a-Bird Workshop - Bird Hop (And Stats)
Bird Hop
Oh good. The boring bit.
Power Pills Turbo
Increases maximum health.
Insert pill into rear end of digestive tract.

Very Good

Why: Health.

Med-i'-can
Automatically regenerate health.
Hello... anyone there? Please get me out of here!!!

Good

Why: Health regen, not as good as raw health.

Space Air Max
Increases movement speed.
Fashionable and Fast.

Mandatory

Why: Run fast like Sanic. Also, Movement Speed increases jump height on all characters for some reason, and it makes Rocco's jump very high.

Wraith Stone
Heal additional health by killing critters.
Life sucks, death even more.

Good

Why: If one is healing a lot off neutrals then it's good.

Piggy Bank
Gives 130 Solar.
This product was brought to you by Zork industries, exploiting Zurians since 2780.

Bad

Why: It's a stupid crutch. One extra upgrade in the early game for a thousand deaths in the late game.

Baby Kuri Mammoth
Reduces the effect of all debuffs
"LOOK!!! A FLYING ELEPHANT!"

Decent

Why: Highly, highly conditional. If you're going up against strong CCs it's an obvious must. Otherwise it's pretty much useless.

My personal picks for Bird Hop (AKA Stats):
Power Pills Turbo
Med-i'-can
Space Air Max

Why: The classic combo. "Can't beat a classic!"

Health upgrades can be bought at any time when necessary. Med-i'-can can be swapped with Wraith Stone or Baby Kuri Mammoth if the game demands it.
How 2 Rocco and How 2 NOT Rocco
Here we are! This is what I wrote this guide for!
So, you've got your build. You know what's good and what's bad. You know what you want to buy, as well as (hopefully) the order in which you wish to buy them.

Now here's the question,
How do you actually play Rocco?

There are several dos and don'ts with Rocco, and they are (quite conveniently) mostly opposites to each-other.

So here are several dos and don'ts with Rocco:

Before anything
DO
Spend 20 years in the Himalayan Mountains training in the art of MLG Rocco Sniping (IE Practice against bots)
DON'T
Catch the first train to Tryhards Ville and miss every Precision Shot ever and get called a scrub by everyone in the game, to which you will cry (IE Don't immediately play an online match as Rocco)

Rocco is one of the hardest characters to play purely because of how much you have to aim with him. Bots are dumb, but they do behave like real players (more-or-less).

But real players are much harder to predict, and much easier to die to. Bots exist to train against. You may as well use it.

DO
Unlock all of Rocco's upgrades
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

You need all the upgrades.

Some of the starting upgrades are really bad, and some of the unlockable upgrades are really good. Just play a few matches as another 'naut. It'll at most take about 3 matches to unlock everything.

At the Start of the Game (When you join)
DO
Do a voice command Taunt (Or at least use a voice command)
DON'T
Taunt in the chat (IE Don't be a Cocky ♥♥♥♥)

Some people take offense to taunting at the start of a game, or taunting in general. Taunting adds some flavor to the game, and I personally consider a start-of-game taunt as a way of saying "Hey everyone! I'm here, and I'm playing this cool guy/gall!" This mostly just serves as a means of confusion for the enemy team, but using any voice command (Bound to the 1 {Taunt}, 2 {Help!}, 3 {Defend!}, and 4 {Attack!} by default) at the start of a match lets you team know who they're playing with without forcing them to open up the scoreboard.

However, being a jack-ass in the chat (especially at the start of the game) is a sure-fire way to make everyone on both teams hate you. (Excessive) Taunting (both with the voice commands and in the chat) makes you look like an arrogant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and will most likely cause the enemy team to focus on you. What's even worse is that your teammates might mute you, and (if you're a really big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) you may be reported for communication abuse! And above all else, you'll look like a massive ♥♥♥♥ when if you lose. A little bit of friendly taunting in the chat every now and again is perfectly fine, but there's a fine line between being competitive and being a jerk.

DO
Actually pay attention to the drop pod mini-game
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

You can get about 30 Solar from the drop pod. That's enough to buy both of your abilities without Piggy Bank.

And Piggy Bank is for scrubs.

DO
Buy both of your abilities
DON'T
Buy a single ability

Both of Rocco's base un-upgraded abilities are very good. Every 'nauts "naked" skill is very good to at least have. Very few builds (for any 'naut, not just Rocco) recommend not getting an ability at the start of the game.

If you don't have the Solar to get both upgrades, walk outside and pick-up some Solar (there's about 5 solar directly outside your spawn. That's usually enough to squeeze that extra upgrade out) and walk right on back to spawn to get your second upgrade. You always want to get both upgrades to be useful to your team. Don't get Space Air Max or something instead of both Precision Shot and Vengeance. (And, again, don't get Piggy Bank. Piggy Bank is for scrubs)

DO
Fire a Precision Shot
DON'T
Spend 30 seconds doing it

See if you can hit a Precision Shot! It's good training, and you can scare some players with your MLG Rocco skills!

But if you spend too long doing it the game will get started and you'll already be behind. Remember: Precision Shot only deals 300 damage without Classics. That's not enough to warrant an eternity aiming.
Pro Tip: Aim for the lanes, not the base. Unless the enemy team is sleeping while shopping they won't be in their base. Then again, if you hit them in their base you can type something like "LOL Dude stop sleeping! There's a game going on!" in all chat, and look like an MLG Dank playa.

Abilities
Precision Shot
DO
Actually go into lane
DON'T
Sit at base spamming Precision Shot

This is pretty much the entire reason I made this guide. This should go without saying, and it's sad that I have to say it: Precision Shot is pretty strong. Precision Shot is pretty cool.

Precision Shot is not your only ability, and the right mouse button is not the only button on your mouse. Sitting at base spamming Precision Shot is a sure-fire way to lose, since your team will be fighting 2v3, and you won't actually do any damage with Precision Shot. You need to kill some droids to at least get max level Classics, and even then Precision Shot's damage is sub-par at best. You're far more effective as a 'naut than a "Global Annoyance Cannon".

DO
Aim
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

No duh.

Hitting Precision Shot does help.

DO
Aim with help of the mini-map
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

No duh.

Hitting Precision Shot does help, and the mini-map can help with that.

DO
Aim
DON'T
Spend half an hour aiming

(This point is the other main reason for this guide) No duh.

Shooting some-time today would be nice.

DO
Not spam Precision Shot
DON'T
Spam Precision Shot

It can be very tempting to spam Precision Shot due to it's low cool-down.

But you probably won't hit. Better to have it up and aim with it.

DO
Not be afraid of using Precision Shot at close range
DON'T
Be afraid of using Precision Shot at close range

A nuke is a nuke.

Don't be afraid that you'll somehow be less useful if you use your global ability at close (or even point-blank) range. The one exception to this rule is if you're using Little Johnny, and even then the range you have to be at isn't that big. Just because an ability is global doesn't mean you have to use it globally. Better to nuke at get the kill up close than let them run away and miss at long range.

DO
Taunt (Both in the chat and with commands) when you get a kill with Precision Shot
DON'T
Taunt (Either in the chat or with commands) when you hit someone with Precision Shot

Naturally, getting a kill with a Global Skillshot is great. And while being a silent bad-ass is cool, laughing at other's misery makes the game more fun for everyone.

But if you do it too much it becomes excessive, and you end up looking like a jack-ass (See above point on taunting). It's okay to use a command taunt after a good string of Precision Shot hits (if you hit the same enemy about 5 times in a row then it's time to laugh) but doing anything excessively gets annoying. You're allowed to laugh IRL as much as you want, though.
How 2 Rocco and How 2 NOT Rocco - Part 2
Vengeance
DO
Not be afraid of using it
DON'T
Be afraid of using it

Yes, it has a long cool-down.

Better to use it than die/lose a kill.

DO
Aim
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

No duh.

Slowing people and increasing the duration of Vengeance does help.

DO
Remember that you can still use Precision Shot with Vengeance on
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

You can still use Precision Shot when Vengeance is active. In fact, Precision Shot will slow enemies when you have Vengeance on, and the slow is much more powerful than what your Rapid Arrows provides.

Vengeance is primarily "chase mode", not "shooty shooty left click" mode.

Rapid Arrows
DO
Use them
DON'T
Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯

I already said this when talking about Precision Shot, but I'll say it again:

Precision Shot is not your only ability. Rapid Arrows have some fairly good DPS, and shouldn't be overlooked.

Bird Hop (And Stats)
DO
Not die
DON'T
Die

Dying is bad.

If you're dying, buy some stats.

One more thing
DO
Get a good connection
DON'T
Lag

Rocco becomes considerably harder to play with high ping.

Having a good connection isn't always possible, but if you can, you should.
Conclusion
(Art by ThalitaCS - http://thalitacs.deviantart.com/art/Rocco-Awesomenauts-542343397)

So that's my guide for Rocco. "What? No build? No detailed list of what to get when, and why to get it?"
Well for one there was a build at the end of Build-a-Bird, and secondly Awesomenauts is a game about adapting to the situation at hand. While there may be a general build that will work for most situations, you will have to buy different upgrades when going up against different 'nauts and different play-styles.

But anyways: Thanks for reading my guide! I spent a lot of time writing this, and I'm really happy that you took the time out of your day to read it over. If you like it, give it a like and maybe even favorite it. If there's something you want to comment on, feel free to leave a comment below.

If you really like my stupid stuff check my out on YouTube! I have a music pack that replaces the themes of just about all the 'nauts (including Rocco)!

That being said, informative guide. Can tell you put a lot of work into it. Could only be improved if it looked more professional.

How to write a guide and how not to write a guide
DO
Use actual words, and not the number 2
DON'T
Put things like "Not... do that... ¯\(◉◡◔)/¯" which is redundant and lazy. It doesn't look good, you wrote a guide to convey a message, not look like some kid.

No need for the "sanic" and "MLG" references. This is awesomenauts, not call of duty.

The people calling you out on your math also should call you out on making your guide look professional. Not saying don't have fun with it, but also saying don't make it annoying to read.

True enough haha
Lore?  [créateur] 30 aout 2015 à 16h55
@Aatgy
I made this guide under the assumtion that you'd be using Arrow for long ranged combat.
Naturally one can afford to be "less precise" when hitting something at point-blank range.
Aatgy ttv 30 aout 2015 à 16h54
I think one problem people have is feeling like they have to fully drawback precision shot before firing. I find it MUCH more effective to throw baseballs at close range when an enemy is AA'ing a droid. When you're fully drawing people can react in time to jump or move out of the way. Throwing a baseball at them is unexpected, and it comes out almost instantaneously, not to mention still doing the same amout of damage. If you have Nicotine patches, baseballs are the perfect harrassment tool close range.
