Bind snd_restart to a hotkey! No more typing in the console!

Copy the text on the line below:

bind P snd_restart

(You can replace "P" with any key you want.)

Start Insurgency and press the "~" key to open the console.

Press "CTRL+V" to paste the text into the console.

Press "ENTER"

Press the "P" key

From now on, each time you start the game, you will only need to press "P" to get all the custom sounds working. No more typing in the console.

Note: you can replace "P" with any key you like. I just made it something obvious and out of the way.

Yes you have to press it every time you start the game. Hope this helps.

You don't even need to enter snd_restart if you know how to copy and paste a file from "insurgency2/insurgency/custom/workshop" to "insurgency2/insurgency/custom".

Thanks for the mini guide! I already know how to make it do snd_restart automatically with a delay, but I think it is something not too many others know and could really benefit from knowing! Infact, I think I'll go mod my game for that now. Just gotta' play around with the timings, because measurements are boring. :)

Go to your cfg file for Insurgency and type the following....bind "p" snd_restart......then when you start a game just press p on your keyboard and it will load the custom sounds for you.
