Simple text-based walkthrough (Tengami)

This is a brief text-based walkthrough for Tengami. This game is quite simple and short, with trivial puzzles, and can easily be completed without a guide in around one to three hours. But, I know some people may want to breeze through (perhaps for a quick 100% completion); and so I made this simple guide, which should allow you to play through in a timeframe closer to thirty minutes.

Achievements

All four achievements in this game are storyline achievements. You will unlock all 4 and earn 100% completion simply by beating the game.

Walkthrough

• Follow onscreen instructions and flip pages until you reach the winter scenery.
  
  
• Click on each pink flower petal.
  
  
• Enter the portal/waypoint.

Forest World

• Move to the right until you reach a tree with 4 wind chimes.
  
  
• Click the chimes in this order: bottom right, top left, top right, bottom left.
  
  
• Continue through the portal/waypoint which the wolf was previously guarding.
  
  
• Ignore the door for now and move to the well on the right, stand in the portal/waypoint and flip the page.
  
  
• Click on the left pull-tab, then the middle pull-tab, then the right pull-tab to get the crest piece, and then flip back.
  
  
• Go back to the door and insert the missing piece by getting close, and then open the door.
  
  
• Continue by using the portal/waypoint.
  
  
• Open the upstairs door; go through that portal/waypoint.
  
  
• Open door inside the house, and then go back outside.
  
  
• Go to the left, check the pop-ups until you find stairs up and stairs down, make your way to the stairs down portal/waypoint and go through.
  
  
• Through the cave, you will wind up in the bottom of the house… get the flower.
  
  
• Place flower on the tree by going close to it.
  
  
• Use portal/waypoint again.

Mountain World

• Head right and flip the pull-tab at the waterfall on your way.
  
  
• Click the pop-ups as necessary to zigzag up the stairs (to the right, to the left, to the right, and back across the left) and then again use the pop-ups as necessary to cross a rising bridge to the left and enter the portal/waypoint at the waterfall which you opened earlier.
  
  
• Enter the front of the house and then open the door inside. Go back outside and go to the right, ring the bell and use the pull-tab on the left to change it to summer, go to the house again, and open the second door inside to reveal a puzzle. Go back outside. Return to the bell, ring it and use the pull-tab right twice to make it winter.
  
  
• Go all the way to the left and grab the piece of puzzle, re-enter house and put the piece of the puzzle in place and solve the puzzle, and then open the door you now can.
  
  
• Back outside, go to the bell and make it autumn (one turn to left from where you are) and use the back-door to the house to see a bell puzzle.
  
  
• Click all the bells fast enough and you will unlock a door. Back through the front of the house, open the next inner-door, which will reveal… yet another door!
  
  
• Go back outside and use the new side-door portal/waypoint with a flower in the window. Through this door you can retrieve another pink flower.
  
  
• Place this flower on the tree and enter the portal/waypoint when you are done.

Ocean World

• Move through the portal/waypoints as you are able, starting with the one on the left of the water gap. When you are faced with a choice of two new portal/waypoints (plus the one you came from), choose the “middle” portal/waypoint. Move through until you are faced with another choice and this time: take the “top” portal/waypoint. You will see you have progressed across the water gap.
  
  
• Move to the right, through the cave, and then click on the pop-ups as necessary to move up the stairs (this time you will move in a counter-clockwise loop, and then to cut back across the middle of that loop to the left… it’s simple, but may take a moment to finish).
  
  
• Go through the next portal/waypoint.
  
  
• Go to the dock and put the 3 pieces of the boat back together by matching the shapes with the holes.
  
  
• Sail away.
  
  
• As you sail to the right, light all the pyres by dragging the fire from an already lit pyre to the unlit ones.
  
  
• All the way to the right, use the portal/waypoints to navigate through the linear path in the boat wreck. All the way inside, solve the puzzle (see below) and grab the piece you need.
  
  
  
• Head back to the left and dock at the lighthouse and enter it, then climb to the top and use the gear piece. Spin the gear until the last pyre is raised up… then light that last pyre from that screen.
  
  
• Leave the lighthouse and get back in the boat. Sail to the right again until you reach that cave with the lanterns— they should all be lit, now that all the pyres are lit.
  
  
• Click the cave and enter by using the new portal/waypoint. Sail through the cave to the right and enter the next portal/waypoint you come to by a red gate.
  
  
• Dock and head up to the house.
  
  
• Follow the linear portal/waypoint path to the area with the statues.
  
  
• Move the statues and flip the switches that are behind them, and then move the statues back and then back out. Open the back-screen-door available in this room now and enter that new portal/waypoint.
  
  
• Follow the linear path, solve the puzzle (see below) and grab the sword.
  
  
  
• Return to the two statues, and place the sword in the right one.
  
  
• Head back to the boat and sail to the left a bit and enter this new cave you can enter right under the house.
  
  
• Sail to the right. Solve the puzzle by arranging the wolves (see below), and grab the shield.
  
  
  
• Return to the statues and place the shield in the left statue and grab the pink flower.
  
  
• Put the last flower on the tree.
  
  
• Click.
