Introduction. I guess.
Sooo...what are fashion coupons?

Basically free weapon and armor skins without having to pay real money. Fashion coupons are those purple tickets that you occasionally find after you have defeated a BAM.

...You do know what a BAM is....right?

...Big-*slang word for butt that will get filtered cause steam*- monster?

...The big guys.

... Mini-bosses?

Whatever. Moving on.

Here's a couple of ways to get fashion coupons. That I know of. If there are any more methods, let me know.

  • Killing BAMS
  • Obtaining Federation Bills (you get 5 of them for every day you login with a character and are collected from the mail.) and trading them to an NPC called Tikat (ferret-looking dude holding a megaphone) who is in every village except for the major cities. (Velika, Allementhaia, Kaiator.)
  • Opening up a Fashion Coupon Lootbox, which costs about 1K gold on trade broker as of time of writing.
  • Buying certain lootboxes from the in-game store.
  • Received as a reward from Vanguard Initiative Instance Quests.
  • Special in-game events. No one knows when these come up.
So what are Fashion Coupons used for?
Simple.

When you have at least one Fashion coupon in your inventory, right-click on it and you will be taken to this window:

Here you can preview outfits by left-clicking them and purchase them by right-clicking them. Try not to get those two mixed up.

Keep in mind that these outfits are locked to your class. I know, it sucks. So if your class wears metal armor, you can only wear and preview metal costumes.

So if you like an armor style and want to wear it all the time, these are your solution. Plus, if it says "Dyeable" in the description, you can dye them any color you want! I would recommend buying Apothecary dye from the Trade Broker instead of wasting gold on dyes that only last for an hour. Apothecary dye is cheap and is permanent.

Q: Why can't I preview Fashion Coupon outfits in the new Dressing Room?

The devs have stated that right now you can only preview outfits from the In-Game TERA store, but even items that were previously in the store aren't there. Since it is supposed to let you preview every outfit in the game for your character perhaps this will change in a future update.
Wait, whoa whoa whoa...that sh*t's expensive!
Yeah I know.

The cheapest outfits are 100 coupons. Some go for as high as 500!

Well, you could drop some gold on a Fashion Coupon loot box at the trade broker and get 200 instantly, but well...if you don't have that kind of money, then what?

...Well, guess you could try to save up federation bills for the outfits you want...

But to get enough for the outfits that cost 100 coupons, you would have to log into the game 20 times. And you can only claim Federation bills once a day, so that's 20 days of logging in just to get 5 coupons.

And if you want that Fashion Coupon loot box, you would need 400 Federation Bills. So that would take you 80 DAYS

...Buuuuuut there is an easier way to farm hundreds of coupons within a few hours!
Farming Coupons the Easy Way!
  • Create or Log into a Pre-existing Character, and level them up to 40. If your character(s) are Level 58 or up, you can skip this and the next step.

  • If you have enough character slots, create an Elin Reaper character. Play through the tutorial where upon completion, you get some decent gear and are level 58. If this is your first time playing a Reaper or want some tips, consult this[tera-forums.enmasse.com] guide.

(As a side note, I DO NOT want to hear any bs about the Elins or the reapers, so if you start a flame-bait or debate war, I WILL DELETE YOUR COMMENTS. This is NOT Global Chat. We've heard it already.)

  • Upon acquisition of Level 58 (or higher), immediantly teleport or take a pegasus to Kaiator if you aren't there already. From here, fly to the town of Scythera Fae, located in Sylvanoth in Northern Shara.

  • Head directly southeast into an abandoned settlement in Seeliewoods (the lower-left corner of the minimap). What you are looking for here is a BAM known as a Feytouched Lithikuma. There are four of these that spawn here within the little abandoned settlement and they are level 58, which is perfect for your newly-created reaper. (provided you have created one. Any level 58 character will do)

Once you have killed a (or a few, PRAY TO RNGesus!) Kumas, they will drop 10 FASHION COUPONS EACH. BINGO!

Now I know people say that the Vengeful Ice Giants near Ebon Tower are the fastest way of getting Fashion coupons, but personally the Kumas in Seeliewoods are much easier to farm off of since once they agro on you, they just sit still for a few seconds, making them easier to kill without them attacking!

One disadvantage of farming off the kumas is that there are only three channels in that area, and there's only one place where a group of kumas spawn near each other. The best time to farm for kumas without other people getting in your way is in the early morning hours, since that's when servers seem to be less populated. And always change channels if more than one other person shows up to farm.

Another disadvantage is that RNGesus likes to troll. While coupons do have a decent drop rate, don't expect them to drop everytime you kill a kuma.

With a few hours of grinding, depending on what costume(s) you want, you should get enough to afford 'em!

Conclusion
Well, I guess that's it for now. If you have any questions or think something needs to be added to this guide, please let me know in the comments.

Thanks for reading!

Yep! Certainly. :wsma_happy:
UNLESS the drops are completely different in this new server. Because I have not played much since the merge, so feel free to confirm my method below. :wsma_happy: Grind for at least 30 minutes in that location, that should give you enough time to confirm it!

There's a new way to obtain coupons after the Apex update.

• By going to the Ethereal Forest located in Essenia, Blessing Basin. You can defeat those magical creatures called Oneirolith that drop Fashion Coupons rather quickly due to how closed-up every BAMs are. They have a small chance to summon the Wanderer Caiman, which will also have a little chance to spawn a Hatchery Portal for XP, Skill Advancement XP, blue Halidom, Relic or tokens for Blightoath Infusion material. Killing the boss also gives about 300M XP. Skill XP boosts dropped by defeated monsters do expire quite fast, & you have to pick them up while fight lasts, or they're lost.

• The second method is generating a BuddyUp code & having someone use it for their new character level 9 or below. The further they level up, the more rewards you will receive, including a few Strongbox keys, which will give you a chance to obtain between 200 to 1000 Fashion Coupons from those Locked Fashion Strongboxes.

I hope this helps!

You barelyget enough in an hour of farming, so if you want an outfit that is 600 you will be farming for hours just to get 600 coupons. In an hour i barely got 20 no joke. BAMs only drop from 1 to 7 from what i noticed i didn't get a drop of 10 at all.

Yes, but Federation Bills no longer exists, so some methods no longer work. Now I'd say only farming for some strongbox keys if lucky and killing BAMs at the Island of Dawn is the only best method left. However, Fashion Coupons are half useless now. Most items now have a time-limit for using/wearing them, and many costumes have been removed since a few updates probably due to En Masse Entertainment wanting more people to buy costumes from their Tera Store rather than buying stuff from the Fashion Coupon's store.

Just in case anyone want to know , its not posible to get faishon cupons that way for the moment. the only way is opening faishon strong boxes with strongboxkey . OR buy them at velik near the bank in the plaza for gold.
