Bonus missions

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has 3 bonus missions that were downloadable for the game but are missing from the Steam release. Here's how to get them and install them.

Introduction

The three missions are as follows.

Kola Cell

Third Echelon monitoring has pinpointed one of Nikoladze's remaining cells in an abandoned factory in northern Russia. Among those suspected to present is Philip Masse, the computer programmer whose algorithms empowered Nikoladze's information attacks. A sample of his code must be collected and Philip Masse must be neutralized.

Vselka Infiltration

Information collected at the Kola Facility indicates that the cell operating under the command of Colonel Alekseevich has standing orders to capture a Russian submarine manufacturing facility on the Kola Peninsula. Third Echelon monitoring reveals that the Russian nuclear submarine Vselka is currently docked at the facility. The submarine must be located & Alekseevich's remaining men must be stopped.

Vselka Submarine

Colonel Alekseevich's men have taken control of the Vselka in her berth and are attempting to acquire the warheads from several SS-N-20 sturgeon nuclear missiles. The main computers on the sub must be accessed to determine whether or not the missiles were offloaded.

Installation

Navigate to your Splinter Cell directory. This is usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Splinter Cell

Now copy the contents from the .7zip here

Playing the missions

From the main menu select "START GAME"

Then select your profile and press "LOAD". From there select "LEVELS"

You should see the bonus missions at the bottom of the list of levels. To play a level all you have to do is select it and play it.

Troubleshooting

One thing that might occur is Windows 10 can block files you download. Which can prevent this fix from working. To fix it, right click the 7zip file you downloaded and go to Properties.

At the bottom of the properties window it should display this warning



Click "unblock" and then press "okay" to save the file. Then try extracting the 7zip. It should work now.

Every time I try to play it, it crashes the game and says something about the audio files. Is there any way to fix this?

i love this one, gives me more content to mess around with. Also includes the flashlight you can spin around.

I really appreciate this sir, means alot. With this, I am definitely going to but this game soon on steam. A question I have is their anyway to get the PlayStation 2 exclusive mission "Nuclear Plant"?

Actually, scratch that. The added missions work fine, but the base game has no sound, and the dialogue boxes are out of whack and disappear quickly.

@Ura I had the same exact error message and this is how i solved it.

I unzipped the whole 7zip file into the map folder in the main game folder.

I noticed that the whole 7zip file is just 2 readme files, a sounds folder and maps folder.

I thought I was good to go but then I get that area message.

I deleted the 2 read me files and put the contents of the maps folder into the maps folder of the main game and did the same thing for the sounds folder.

So a better way to do it is to unzip the file into a empty folder on your desktop or something to see its contents, then put the data in the sounds folder in the games sounds folder and then do the same for the maps data.

After that it worked fine for me.

Warning: an error occured in SND library

ERROR: cannot load map, can't find map in localised Maps BigFile.

Can someone help me with this? It just breaks the audio, apparently, and sometimes crashes the game (only happened after adding the maps)
