Everything about Stage Select

Here you will learn exactly how to use Stage Select and how it works.

How to get it

Before we get into using this, you need to know how to unlock the stage select, which is in the "Extras". It's pretty simple. All you have to do is unlock the achievment called "Just in time", which will also unlock the stage select

How to figure it out

At first, the stage select will seem confusing, showing a screen with 3 values:
X - X - X
The first value is what stage it is, like Palmtree Panic or Tidal Tempist. The wierd thing is that for some reason it the value goes straight to "3" for Chaos Collision, but will go up regularly from there
The second value is what zone, aka, act, you chose of the stage. For example, 3 - 2 - X will make you start in Chaos Collision Zone 2.
The third and last value is what time you will start in. Setting it to "A" means present, setting it to "B" means past, setting it to "C" means good future, and setting it to "D" means bad future. For example, setting it to 3 - 2 - C means you will start in Chaos Collision Zone 2 good future. Using this, you can go onto any stage, zone, and time.

Sonic / Tails

The game will spawn you in as Sonic if the last time you played regularly was with him, and same with Tails.

I've been experimenting with the debug combined with this menu. What I was doing was: I put a past sign in the past of Palmtree Panic. It sent me to the present.

I don't think it will because it doesn't keep the time set to past when you enter a new stage, and also because it won't make a save file. It will unlock the achievment "Heavy Metal" easily if you do the metal sonic race in the good future.

I wondered if there was a way to quickly change times. Do you know if this would count for the achievement of breaking all the holograms/robotisizers?
