Fair enough, that makes sense as well. Thank you for the confirmation.

I've personally witnessed the difference. It makes an even five and five, I believe was the devs' reasoning.

New stuff, thanks. Guide Updated. One oddity is the notes from the thread say Phoenix Feather requires white shards, which breaks from the pattern of the Western room requiring white shards and Southern room requiring black shards. I'd appriciate confirmation from another source.

Hey, ten new artifacts were discovered in a hidden dungeon, check the True Ending thread in the discussions for their locations, costs, and effects, since they won't all fit in a comment.

Never realized that, but I very rarely suffered any status effects in my game other than poison... and even that was mostly from the poison fields before I had the poison protection ability. I'll put a note in about it.

I'd like to point out that Light of Rebirth also cures poison (not sure about other statuses).

My experience has been that Nihil Barrier and Berserker's Rage are the only buffs worth using because they're cheap, effective, and irreplaceable. Both are usable on bosses where it matters most. Otherwise, (de)buffs generally don't last long enough nor have enough impact to matter to me.

No real need for a skill that buffs the entire party. Most trash are cleared in one or two rounds and you'd just be better off using an attack skill instead. Boss fights usually have one person healing, one person attacking, one person nuking, and one person buffing/debuffing, so there's only one person that would even benefit from a +Atk buff.

It assumes you're using the standard tank/scrapper/healer/nuker setup, though.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've been so busy with other games I never did get to verify that.

There's no buff for upping your entire party's attack? That's kind of disappointing, wish there was one. Anyone know if getting 2/3 towers reduces the swamp kings power as well? Cause for the life of me I can't beat the drought guy. Then again I'm only lv 27
