Disney Infinity 2.0 Basics Guide
Von merder222 und 1 Helfern
Hello! Thank you for entering this Guide.

First I want to explain something. merder222 was creating the Guide for me (Zoibator) to have the ability of making a Guide. He has nothing to do with the Guide, it's only because he has this game on Steam and I don't, I play it on PS3 & PC free version. So I couldn't make this Guide from the first place without merder222's help!

This Guide explains about the game "Disney Infinity 2.0".
It will show basics of this game, and other important things you need to know when you start to play!
You've read the guide and still have a question? No problem! Post a comment writing your question and I will answer as soon as I go online! (There will also be a FAQ section where you can search for your question).

Please rate!

Missions List

Cold Opening:
The first mission in the Playset.
This mission is located inside Avenger's Tower.
Frost Giants have burst in and the Avengers
must chase them out.
While the mission, there is a battle inside the Arc Reactor.
For completing this mission you must make the Frost Giant escape from the tower.

Sheer Wheel Power:
The character is given the
S.H.I.E.L.D. Motorcyle and must drive it around the marker
on the back side of the Avenger's Tower.

Energy Crisis:
The player must locate and activate
three emergency power overrides near the Avengers Tower,
battling Frost Giants along the way.

Street Sweeper:
To complete the mission the player
must destroy fifteen ice barriers scattered throughout the city,
while also battling Frost Giants.

Bridge May Be Icy:
The mission involves clearing Frost Giants and ice barriers
off a bridge so a bus may pass through.
After smashing the first ice barriers, the character must do
an air attack on the broken asphalt to allow the bus to pass.
(Note the Flight Bonus Box underneath the asphalt).

Shaking the Wasp's Nest:
The mission involves breaking up ice barriers surrounding Wasp's apartment building.

On the Grid:
The mission is initiated by pressing a button on the
wall on the Avengers Tower balcony patio.
To complete the mission, six power generators located
on roofs around the city must be re-activated.
Press the button on the front of the generator to activate it.

A Heavy Dilemma:
To complete the mission, the character must carry a power
source box to a S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle. Ice barriers and
Frost Giants will be encountered along the way,
causing the character to have to put down the box.
The box has a health meter and must be protected.
Once the box arrives at the destination, a final set of
Frost Giants must be defeated before the mission completes.

Make Mine Marvel:
To complete the mission, the character must safely escort a S.H.I.E.L.D.
vehicle to its destination - breaking up ice barriers
along the way and protecting the vehicle from Frost Giants.
The vehicle has a health meter,
if the meter is depleted the mission will fail.

Chasing a Lead:
To complete the mission, the character must follow one
set of Frost Giants while battling other sets of Frost Giants.
Follow the nav from marker to marker,
defeating groups of Frost Giants along the way.

Loki's Swelled Head:
The mission takes place in an abandoned warehouse
Loki is using as headquarters, and culminates in
The Avengers first boss battle with Loki.
This isn't the easiest mission to complete with
characters that haven't been leveled up very far.
When going into the warehouse, use the weakest Figures first.
If all Figures are defeated, players can go back
to a checkpoint, but doing so will only resurrect the last Figure
that was used, their defeated Figures will still have to
wait out the normal recharge period.
Taking out the drones first should help characters take less damage.
There are also passageways blocked by moving lasers,
carefully time movements to avoid contact with the lasers.
Ranged attacks, such as thrown hammers, or guns,
are nearly useless against Loki,
melee attacks and special moves are considerably more effective.
Being a standard boss battle, he'll spawn three times,
summoning other enemies to help along the way.

Civil Warfare:
To complete the mission, the player must find frozen
citizens and unfreeze them by shooting or hitting them,
then pick them up and throw or drop them into a safe zone.
All six frozen citizens must be saved within the time limit.
Frost Giants will of course be attacking,
but they do not have to be defeated to complete the mission.

Bad Press:
To complete the mission players must destroy
three different communication towers found on rooftops.
Frost Giants will run interference,
but do not have to be destroy to complete the mission.

Keep It Loki:
The mission involves rescuing the mayor from Frost Giants.
Pick him up and deliver him to the safe zone,
then defeat the Frost Giants.

A Change in the Air:
To complete the mission, find the weather machine on
top of a building, and beat on it until its health meter has been depleted.

Air Mail:
The mission simply entails locating the S.H.I.E.L.D.
Sky-Cycle on one of the piers, then riding/flying it backto the upper deck of Avengers Tower.

Chilling Chase:
This is a basic mission that involves locating
two hordes of Frost Giants and defeating them.

A Worldwide Web:
To complete the mission, find the four frozen UN delegates,
hit or shoot them to unfreeze them,
then pick them up and take them to the safe zone (red flares).
Frost Giants will try to run interference, but can mostly be ignored.

Snow End In Sight:
To complete the mission, find and destroy
five weather machines located on rooftops around the city.
Each weather machine has a health bar,
attack the machine to deplete the health bar and destroy the machine.
Frost Giants will try to run interference,
but they don't have to be destroyed to complete the mission.

Ice Breaker:
Completing the mission requires defending
a heat generator from Frost Giant attacks, for 2 minutes.
The heat generator has a health bar,
which gets depleted as Frost Giants attack it,
if the bar is completely depleted before the 2 minutes are up,
the mission fails.

Training Ground:
First defeat the Frost Giants surrounding the subway area,
then do an air attack onto the icy patch
in the road to gain access to the subway.
Inside the subway, break the ice on the left and right sides
of the blocked end, then break the beams that are revealed.
Back up on the street, defeat the Frost Giants.

Pier Pressure:
Travel to the marked pier and defeat the Frost Giants

Sif's Ship-Shape:
Approach the marked warehouse door on the pier, and "use" to open it. Inside the warehouse,
fight through the warehouse, defeating sets of Frost Giants in each area.
Back outside the warehouse, jump on the snowmobile
and follow the nav to the ice caves entrance.
Get off the snowmobile and jump up the ledges to the ice cave entrance.
Inside the cave, battle waves of Frost Giants,
then a final giant-giant, then jump up some ledges
and follow the nav to Sif's location.
Marvel's The Avengers Playset - Part 2
Joining The Frozen Legion:
To complete the mission, follow the nav to
the horde of Frost Giants and defeat them.

Chill out:
To complete this mission, follow the nav to
the hordes of Frost Giants, and defeat them.

I'll Let You Off With a Warming:
This mission involves protecting a heat generator
from Frost Giant and Drone attacks, for 2:30 minutes.
The generator has a health meter, which depletes as it is attacked,
if the meter runs out completely, the mission fails.
This is one of the tougher missions in the game.
Go into it with full health and special move meters,
and use characters with special moves that launch strong attacks.
Take out the A.I.M. Drones, then stay close to the generator,
only moving away briefly to grab purple and green capsules as needed.

Hasty Retreat:
To complete the mission, find eight frozen civilians,
hit or shoot them to unfreeze them, then pick them up
and take them to the safe zone, within the three minute time limit.
Frost Giants will try to run interference, but can be mostly ignored.

Taking Some Heat:
To complete this mission, find and destroy
three weather machines located on rooftops around the city.
Each weather machine is powered by multiple yellow boxes, each of which must be destroyed to finish off the machine.
Frost Giants will attempt to interfere,
but do not have to be destroyed to complete the mission.

Cold Rush:
To complete the mission, follow the Frost Giant General
from checkpoint to checkpoint, and defeat the Frost Giants along the way.

Take Snow Prisoners:
To complete this mission, defeat a horde of Frost Giants,
then defeat the Frost Giant General.
The Frost Giant General is much tougher than standard Frost Giants,
but there's no special trick to defeating him,
just keep at it and he'll go down eventually.

Hot Spot:
This is another mission that requires defending
a heat generator from Frost Giants.
This one is on the end of a pier and must be defended for 3 minutes.
Feel free to throw the Frost Giants into the water.

Safety First:
The mission requires carrying eight civilians to safety in the park,
within a three minute time limit.
Each civilian is frozen and must be hit or shot to unfreeze them.
The civilians are fairly far apart,
so using a character with flight is strongly recommended.
As much as possible just avoid the Frost Giants.

Viral Infection:
To complete the mission, pick up the nano-virus container in the park
in front of Avengers Tower, and carry it to the Casket
navigating around ice barriers and Frost Giants to get there.
The nano-virus has a health meter, so it must be protected.
It will occasionally be necessary to put it down to destroy ice barriers.
It may also be necessary to spar with some Frost Giants,
though destroying them is not a requirement for the mission.

A Chilling Conclusion
The final mission in The Avengers Play Set.
This is a boss battle against a giant Frost Monster.
A character with flight is almost essential in this battle.
The sequence for beating the monster is fairly simple:
  • Avoid his breath attack, which will freeze your character
  • Hang in the air while he lays down ice traps then explodes them
  • Avoid getting crushed by his arm (this is typically instant-death).
  • Land on his arm and do as much damage to
it as possible before he moves it again
  • Repeat the above sequence until his arm's health meter
is completely gone and the monster collapses
  • Do as much damage to the monster as possible
until he revives himself and throws some Frost Giants into the battle
  • Spar with the Frost Giants, but don't work too hard on them,
when the Monster starts attacking again his attacks
will do away with all or most of them.
  • Repeat the same sequence until the Monster is defeated!

The longer you you can hold the fire button,
the bigger the orb will be. If you can get the orb to its maximize size,
let it land in one of the slots on the side.
