Different Match Types

Not all match types are about how many people you can shoot in the face.

TDM: Resources/TDR: Armored

The simple mans go to game. Run around bunny hoppin like an idiot and QQ about campers. Shoot anything that moves. Requires very little stratagey, if any.

Survivor

Similar to "Death Match", except there are no teams. Every man for himself. The last man standing is the winner. No respawns; when you're dead, you're dead.

There are some caveats:
Each person has a time limit, that slowly runs out. When ever a person is killed/dies, they drop an "Adrenaline Pack". Picking these up extends your timer.

Territories

The object of this match is to take and hold the points longer than the other team. There are five locations. You must stand within a certain proximity, for a shot time to [re]claim them for your team. Once you have taken control, you can move on, but that leaves it undefended, and open to be turned by the other team.

Similar to capture the flag. You get more points for taking locations than killing the other team.

Bringing a sniper is next to useless since their strength is killing from a distance, and most objective points are enclosed. Assault is king, support is second best, and demo is workable.

Conquer

Similar to Territories, except there are only certain spots you need to own. The contested location changes several times durring a match. Unlike Territories, you must actively defend the locations.

Search and Destroy

Possibley the most misunderstood of all the match types.

The object of this game is to either place and protect a bomb(looks like a silver suitcase), or find and defuse it. There are no respawns so when you die, you're dead and of no more use to your team. Working together can make a huge difference.

Running off on your own is a waste of time, and does very little to help your team. Sure you might get a kill or two, but it's just as likely you will be killed.

I wish survivor wasnt like that of the time limit.

I preffered RC2 where it would be a lot of long range combats taking a lot of time from different high ground areas and low ground areas on maps like favela.
