Toggle run in Thief 1-2

I will show you how to switch a toggle-run with SHIFT key in Thief.

How???

I tried this in NewDark versions of both thief 1 and 2.

1. Go to: D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\thief_2\SAVES

2. Open file with your favourite binds with any text editor. Ex: "cfg0006.bnd".

3. find the line "bind shift +runon"

4. and delete "+"

(If you don't have this line - write it.)

5. save a file.

6. Run thief, open control settings and load your new binds.


7. RUN!!!

You can literally just change the default key in the options. The default key setup is weird though, you've got a walk key and a run key for forward movement. But then you've also got a key which allows you to modify your movement speed depending on which key you're pressing.

You definitely don't need to use a text editor to do this though.
