Once long ago an extremely wealthy king wanted the same power as his court wizard. He told the wizard to make him a staff worthy of being the king's weapon. The wizard first presented a staff he had purchased from another wizard, a staff of comets. The king denied this staff as it did not fit his standards and he also knew that the court wizard did not make this staff himself. The wizard was locked away in his tower until he made an original staff. The wizard asked for many different materials whilst locked away. Half a year later a staff of gold that caught the attention of the king was presented. The king was enamored with the staff. He used it to increase his wealth. Eventually the staff's only power was to make gold that was so heavy it killed. The staff was locked away until it was discovered by you. This is the thirteenth staff you have discovered
