Treasure Hunt Math - Custom Steam Installation

In this Guide, I will show you how to install Treasure Hunt Math (MS-DOS Version) in the same folder as Math Rescue on Steam.

1. Custom Installation

This Section will teach you on how to install Treasure Hunt Math in your Math Rescue Folder.

1. Visit /archivesmathutkedu/software/msdos/k-12/thmath/ (be sure to add . in archivesmath, utk & edu in the link) (thmath12.zip) or https://archive.org/details/TreasureHuntMath_1020 (thmath.zip), then download the Zip file

(NOTE: This is Game is REALLY HARD to Find)

2. Go to the folder where Math Rescue is installed on Steam, and create a new folder called THMath.

3. Extract the files from either the thmath12.zip or Thmath.zip Files to your THMath Folder.

4. Change the Following in your MATH DosBox Config File:

5. Open Math Rescue and select Option 4. which will lead to your C Command Prompt.

6. Enter CD THMATH, then THMATH to start playing Treasure Hunt Math (The EXE File, but NOT the SCR File).

7. If you want to switch back to Math Rescue, change the Following in your MATH DosBox Config File:

2. About the Game

Elementary math (grades 1-6) in arcade-style game for home & school. Basic math operations, fractions and decimals. Prints certificates of achievement & math tests. Record keeping. Editor to add or customize math problems. Registered version ($19.95) includes MathTris a falling-blocks style game & printed doc which was back in 1993. This game is REALLY Hard to Find nowadays.
