I started building this in the forest biome with the complete intention of the vehicles being painted in a green camo, but obviously, I started by building the vehicles first. When I got around to painting them, I found that any shade of green on tin/copper plating is WAY too vibrant, almost flouresent. It looked horrible and tacky, so I just painted them all straight brown.
I went with black on the weapon mounts, purely for flavor. The Apache looked bland with them brown, and since I can't add different shades of brown on a single block, I decided on a different texture option. It's the same reason why you see blacks and grays in all of the vehicles.
