Achievement Guide

Explains how to get all achievements with the help of pictures.

Introduction

This is a basic guide to getting all the achievements. I will not be going into detail for achievements that you get through normal story progression but I will list how they are activated, what chapter they are located in, and their description.

Achievement Overview

This is a preview of all the achievements in the game. I will list miss-able achievements first then storyline. There's no need to look at the storyline achievements since you will get those by playing the game if for some reason you didn't get the achievements I did list the chapter and how to unlock them, but they contain spoilers.

I list the first opportunity to obtain the achievement. It's possible with some of the achievements to be in a later chapter than I list, backtrack and still obtain the achievement, however at certain points the game world will change and some of the achievements will be locked out of later chapters so it's better to take care of them early.

Achievements don't unlock until you exit out of the game. If they still don't unlock after exiting try restarting steam and redoing the achievements.

Miss-able
These achievements you can actually miss if you don't do what they specifically ask for.

• Reincarnation - Experience the cycle of life
  
• Little Warrior - Get the Chainmail
  
• Little Monk - Get the Mask
  
• Dark Knight - Get Stronger
  
• Enlightenment - Complete the tree of life

Storyline
You can't miss these achievements unless there is a glitch just play the game and you'll unlock them all.

• Rise and Shine Little One - Grow into Childhood
  
• Little Knight - Get the Sword
  
• You are growing so quickly - Become a Teenager
  
• A True Warrior - Become a Warrior
  
• Welcome to adulthood - Become an Adult
  
• Into the void - Know darkness
  
• Save Humanity - Fulfill your Destiny

Missable Acheivements

I will list the achievement enlightenment last however it is a multiple part achievement that starts at chapter 1.

Reincarnation - At any time from childhood to end of the game die and respawn. Dying in a dream does not work.

Little Warrior - From Chapter 1 proceed up the ladder take a left to the main tower at the telescope enter the door way and head down the stairs. At the bottom you will see a altar up against the wall with a giant slab with a hand depicted on it. Walk up to it and press the interact button to climb atop the altar and hold the interact button and press back to pull the slab down and obtain the chainmail.










Little Monk - At the start of Chapter 7 pick up the sword and proceed to backtrack all the way back to the deer and go down the ladder and enter the room you started the game at. Walk up to the mage/monk and interact with him to pull the mask off and obtain it.










Dark Knight - At the start of Chapter 9 backtrack to the deer and kill it to obtain the Red Sword and the achievement.










Enlightenment - This achievement has multiple parts throughout the course of the game. You need to complete every dream sequence in the game, some are a part of the storyline while others you have to talk to mages/monks sitting throughout the game. I'll only list the locations of the mages/monks since the storyline parts you will get just by playing the game.

• Mage/monk 1 is located in chapter 1 proceed up the ladder and take a right and head to the statue with the runes on the ground he is sitting to the right, in front of the statue.

• Mage/monk 2 is located in chapter 1. Go left from the ladder towards the tower. Proceed to the telescope and enter the door way there. Inside you will see him sitting off to your side.

• Mage/monk 3 is located in chapter 5. When you get to the point where you move behind pillars he is located beyond the last pillar. Try to move past him and you will enter this dream automatically.

• Mage/monk 4 is located right next to you at the start of Chapter 9. You will enter the dream automatically transitioning from Chapter 8 to 9.

• Mage/monk 5 is located in Chapter 10. From the start of chapter 10 proceed forward, back to the tower and up the stairs to either side of it. Cross the bridge and proceed through the next section till you start heading back to the tower again. The monk is located right in front of you sitting up against the tower.

The remaining dreams are not accompanied by a sitting mage/monk and are obtained automatically through the rest of the game.

Story Driven Achievements

In this section I will briefly list the chapter of storyline achievements, but given the way achievements work in this game and not getting them till after you exit out they might be slightly off, but it should be around that chapter. All of these you will get just by beating the game.

• Rise and Shine Little One - You will get this one right at the start of the game after you go through the little growth sequence.
  
• Little Knight - Simply grab the sword at the start of Chapter 7.
  
• You are growing so quickly - Chapter 7
  
• A True Warrior - Beat the dragon for the first time Chapter 7.
  
• Welcome to adulthood - Chapter 11
  
• Into the Void - Chapter 11 proceed to make your way to the top of the tower at the end you will enter a dream simply complete the dream for this achievement.
  
• Save Humanity - Chapter 12 finish the game.

Afterword

Even after doing everything, my game shows the top three triangles in the Tree of Life empty, but I got the achievement... Weird glitch.

Thats for the guide, the achievements only unlock when you close the game, which is kinda annoying.

A True Warrior truly bugged for me, as you have to chop dragon 3 times i did the first two normally and the third some weird glitch happened i swung my sword randomly veeeeery far away from the dragon and it registered as a hit but no achievement, after i beat the game went back to chapter 7 3 times and beat him normally but nothing, even started a fresh run but when i beat him still nothing. So careful with the first dragon fight unless you wanna join me to the forever-not-100% club...

For Enlightenment achievement, if you have already completed the game, you don't have to re-do all the dream. Just go for the dream you haven't completed, once done just exit the game and profit.
