Xbox One Controller Settings
These settings have been created for myself using Pro Handling and manual gears. After hours of experimenting, I'm satisfied they can't get much better, well for my driving style anyway. I hope you have as much success with them as I have.

Steering Deadzone: 5
Steering Sensitivity: 0
Throttle Deadzone: 0
Throttle Sensitivity: 0
Brake Deadzone: 5
Brake Sensitivity: 10
Speed Sensitivity: 70
Controller Filtering Sensitivity: 55
Controller Input Mode: 2
Advanced: Off

During testing I found that Speed Sensitivity and Controller Filtering Sensitivity to be the 2 most important to get right. If the speed sensitivity is too high, you'll not be able to turn enough at high speed, too low and you'll lose control at the slightest of touch.

Controller Flitering Sensitivity is also tricky to get right, what might work fine for high speed cars, might not work for slower cars - especially Karts. Too high and it will feel OK for long, gradual corners, but when you move to karts or other tight turns, you'll not be able to turn in enough, meaning that everyone undercuts you.

As mentioned, I use manual gears and if you do too and use cars that are very powerful, I find that shifting up a gear to avoid high revs will keep the car under control coming out of tight corners.

Hope this guide helps and let me know how you get on in the comments.

EDIT: Thanks to derekthetree on the official forums for poiting out that "By then altering the steering rack on each car to be much slower" makes the above settings even better.

sensitivity neutral on this game is 50, for all newbies, start there and work up or down

Suspension settings can take out a lot more problems than you think.I hate any dead zone at all because all is happening at a hundred mph literally.tinker with 0.1 to 0.4 toe ins.I have all my left and right settings nearly always the same.If using mid engine cars if you stray too much either way from centre weight is nearly always something else that is wrong. Its the best car racing game ever made so stick with it.Happy motoring Pete.

I actually don't like these settings. They make correcting oversteer impossible, you just immediately crash in the opposite direction. Just test the R8 V10 on the Nurburgring and you'll see what I'm on about. Yes, the steering is kinda more immediate, but what's the point when you can't even hold the lightest drift?

Thanks, I have similar issues, that even I pause the game, controler is still vibrating.

I think the controller vibration is a bit messed up, I used to be on xbox one and the pad felt great in Forza with the rumble triggers. It's a bit hit and miss - my pad will sometimes carry on vibrating for ages if I pause the game. In-game however I've found a setting of 30 to be about best.
