The Ultimate Block N Load Checklist
By teapot
All you will ever need to know about how to prepare your base the right way, and more! All organized and simplified to an comprehensive level. Hell, you can even check this guide every time you play and write a check on your screen with a permanent marker for all I care. This guide is suggested for beginning to intermediate players.

Introduction
In this very guide that is right here in front of you but not really because the only thing here is a bunch of pixels caused by some guy who probably lives halfway across the Pacific Ocean from you. But let's not get into that because my god your brain would probably explode with all the tricks I have up THAT sleeve. Too many tricks, by that matter, I have seem to forgotten. Now to look at some odd pixels colored and shaped strangely unlike their background. Sorry, what do the humans call it? Ah, yes. I believe the representative of my description is such that goes by the name, "Text".
Brawn
What to do as a Brawn class is relatively simple, providing there are enough players on your team with an IQ over 50 and a mic to yell at you with. Just kidding, this is the checklist: (By order of priority from first to last)

• Make sure there is full radar coverage of your ENTIRE half of the battlefield, or just up to the big blue laser thing, and each radar having decent protection from attackers or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tunnelers. Why? ILL TELL YOU WHY. EVERY SINGLE GAME I DONT CHOOSE A BRAWN CLASS, I GET THESE STUPID TWELVE YEAR OLDS WHO PRIORITIZE MORTARS AND MINES OVER RADAR. (Not all twelve year olds are stupid. For instance, who wrote this guide?) Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. But my point is that radar is the most overpowered item in the game, just think about it. IT GIVES YOU WALLHACKS FOR FREE. As an added bonus, put extra radars around sniper and turret nests and they will most likely praise you and maybe even add you as a friend. Same goes for health and ammo packs, but that will be covered later. TL:DR SPAM RADARS EVERYWHERE!!!!1!
• Put sandbags where your team needs them. This means to fortify turret housings, sniper nest, and forts with sandbags. Most people overlook the sandbags, but the are very tough. It takes more rockets than a single sarge can carry at once to break them, and they are cheap as hell. The only downside is the build time, but that also makes it harder to misplace them. (Trust me, misplacing sandbags was a big ♥♥♥♥♥ in BNL Alpha)
• Place proximity mines in and/or around the cube, near entrances or near major chokepoints. If you think this is unimportant, you are probably a kill ♥♥♥♥♥. If you are, let me just remind you that me doing this is responsible for 5-10 of my 420-1337kills (Completely legit number) in a 20-30 minute game. Sooooo yeah. I bet you don't think it's unimportant NOW.

Note: If you are playing as Cogwheel, place at least 5 mortars before sandbags BUT AFTER RADAR. Make sure they are close enough to rain down hell on at least their first and second cubes, but still under significant cover. Something complicated about mortars is where they fire from and how well you can hide them without the fireball things hitting the walls you put up around them. The only thing that worked for me is having a wall around a 2 deep, 3x3 hole with 5 mortars around the edges of the holes with a mine on a 1 high pillar in the middle for extra protection. I then continue to fill up the rest of the spots around the edge with more mortars once I have done my doodies and gathered bricks. TL:DR PUT MORTARS AFTER RADAR BUT BEFORE SANDBAGS
Skill
OP and Nigel are interesting classes, but they don't require much preparation. If you finish your own list, help others prepare by not being a complete idiot and build with them. Here is the list:

• Set up at least 9 blocks of fake block traps, with bear traps and tikis at the bottom, if possible. Make sure the pit is at least 3 blocks deep, blends in relatively well, and is near an area the opposing team would probably prefer to run over rather than tunnel under.

• Build a few spumpads. The number you should build can vary between how offensive you want to play and how many offensive classes are on your team, but always build at least one.

• Build a tower or small fortification somewhere not right next to the cube, but close to it. Usually Nigel is the only one who is told to do this but I think OP should help, as he has very few things to do otherwise. A quick tip for this is to make sure the bottom of the tower is fortified and anchored into the ground. I say this because many times I have seen people build thin towers out of crates that are so tall they feel invincible until an OP runs over and destroys the three blocks supporting the tower, having the defender fall on to the most overpowered weapon in the game and insta-die. Don't do this.
Brains
Brains have the most responsibilities, and it's for this reason that Skill classes should help them with their spare time. And the list:

• Build health and ammo cubes everywhere. These are as, if not even more, important than radar. Nobody really seems to realize this whilst playing casually, but the only other sources of health and ammo you can get in the WHOLE GAME are the Miracle Cure (Which has almost the exact same impact as a health cube but mobile and with special effects. It also doesn't last as long as a health cube.) and picking up the drops from dead players and destroyed health/ammo cubes. (Unless you are Cogwheel, where all damage you take becomes ammo)

• Build turrets, fortify the cube, dig trenches, place poison traps. This is where you do all the stuff you expect to do. Dig a trench at least 3 blocks wide all around your cube, and make sure it is 5-6 blocks deep. Leaving one space between the trench and the wall, build a wall at least 4-5 blocks tall and at least 2-3 blocks thick all around. Make a doorway in and a staircase to get on top using force gates or even fake blocks with the help of a teammate to ensure that only your team can use them. While you're at it with the fake blocks, might as well cover up the trench with them. If you do this though, make sure there are traps or turrets under the fake blocks so the enemy can't use it to their advantage and place hidden bombs. But you would know this if you had a Brawn teammate

• Did you seriously -I mean seriously- do all that and still think you did a good enough job to do anything else? If you still have time, go over the other steps again, becuase pizza is ready and I don't feel like writing any more.

I am now banned permanently for "Hacking/Cheats". Good job jagex, you have really proven how terrible of a company you are. The very people who are keeping your excuse for a buggy, laggy, unbalanced game alive are BANNED. I have always disliked how you do things like the graveyard and all, but this is the last piece of shit I could take. I will not play your game and or encourage people playing your stupid game any more, in fact I will discourage people as there are much, MUCH better alternatives that cost less and are less toxic, both in the community, and in the company that made them.

Fuck you too,
Billard
