So, you know how in Half-Life 2 the Airboat is upgraded with a gun from a Hunter-Chopper? Using console commands, it is possible to spawn an Airboat with a gun.

Introduction

So, you know how in Half-Life 2 the Airboat is upgraded with a gun from a Hunter-Chopper? Using console commands, it is possible to spawn an Airboat with a gun.

Step 1

First, make sure that you have the console enabled. Go to the menu (ESC by default), Options, "Keyboard" (open by default), and "Advanced". Check "Enable developer console". Now, by pressing `, you can open the console.

Now that the console is enabled, simply spawn in an Airboat. Press Q and go to "Vehicles".

Step 2

Open the console (press `). Type in "sv_cheats 1" (no quotes). Now close the console (press ` again).

Step 3

Enter the Airboat (Use key, E by default). When you are in the Airboat, open the console (press `) and type "ent_setname airboat" (no quotes).

Step 4

Still in the Airboat, type "ent_fire airboat enablegun 1" (no quotes) in the console.

End of Guide

Now, you have an Airboat with a gun. Go ahead and start firing at other players. The gun is strong enough to damage Hunter-Choppers.
