How to play Marc Ecko's Getting Up with the problematic windows 8?

Well, at the beginning I was so excited to find this fantastic game of my childhood, but my face changed when I saw the compatibility problems.

The problem you could have, you can solve it changing the properties of the executable of the game. You can find it in the next folder:

Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Marc Ecko's Getting Up 2\_Bin\GettingUp.exe

You only have to change the compatibility mode to Windows Vista (this worked in my experience).

P.S.: If you want to play the game with an Xbox 360 controller (and the default controls you don't like) you can find a guide from another user that explain how to do it very easy ;)

i also have a predator helios neo 16 so idk why this game isnt launching. :(

i dont have that program file in the files i have for getting up they have different names. and when i did right click on properties it didnt give me the option to change compatability

when i right click it just says copy
or do i right click on the game in my library

Merendongilbert0409 go to the folder I said on the post and click with the seccondary button of the mouse in GettingUp.exe and in click on "properties", and you can see the option "compatibility" and change it

I remember that the post was published on 2015, I don't know if in 2023 with the new windows, this changes works.
