A lot of people compare this to Grim Fandango I have seen too in that it looks like it was inspired by that. It's a very Lucas Arts, or Daedelic sort of point and click game. This will be a remembered series for sure in this genre. Not difficult, but does everything well with voice acting, story, etc.

Must be some sort of a cultural carved wooden figurine thing from the real world, or something. Not sure where this is from. The characters sound Jamaican. XD

What an odd art style for characters. I can't even think of something it is similar to.
