Racing
Achievements related directly to racing the stages.

Nailed it!
Description: Rolled your car, landed on your wheels and carried on.
How to: As per description. It's mostly a matter of luck, but you'll likely get it within your first championship.

Mondays Be Like…
Description: Crashed your car so bad it ended your rally.
How to: Also largely a matter of luck, but in the other direction. It's difficult to actually crash the car to the point of a DNF, but some stages have areas of "non-recoverability" that will cause a DNF and make you retire or restart.

On The Limit
Description: Be on the red line in top gear for 2 seconds.
How to: Hit that top speed on a long straight, and be brave enough to stick with it.
Tip: the easiest way to go for this achievement is a 60s car with short gears on German stages. Kreuzungsring Reverse in particular will lead you right into the long straight section.

Kick the Tyres
Description: Complete a Shakedown.
How to: Before the start of any 'full' event (Championship, Custom, Monthly) you get an option to do a Shakedown, which is a non-competitive short run. (Start to Split 1 of the first stage) Finish it and achievement's yours.

Absolutely Brilliant
Description: Finish a Stage with the fastest time in Championships.
How to: Win a stage by setting the fastest time. With no configurable difficulty, this might be hard at first, but it's likely you'll get it sooner rather than later.

Little Light
Description: Win a Night Stage in Championships.
Note: Night Stages start to appear at Clubman level, and become common at Professional, so you have to get there first. Otherwise, the same as winning any other stage, just with a twist.

First Time's the Charm
Description: Finish an Event in Championships without restarting a Stage.
How to: Complete a championship event with no restarts. Most easily done early, as Open championships only have 4 stages. Take extra care, you don't need to post a fast time for this.
If you've already progressed far enough in Rally that this proves difficult, Rallycross events are usually easier to finish without having to restart.

Spirit of the Rally
Description: Finish an event after heavily damaging three or more components.
How to: Damage 3 parts of the car (from different areas, so two punctured tires count as one) to the point of noticeable performance hurt, and keep on going.
This is also a somewhat random achievement, but a sure way to obtain it is to start a long event and not repair on the service stations. Your vital components (tires and lights) will be replaced automatically, but other components will degrade over the course of the event.

The Traveller
Description: Win a Single Event in three different locations.
How to: Set up three events in Custom Event, one in each location. Win the three events. For fastest achievement, set Stages to 1 and Difficulty to Open.

Take Your Pick
Description: Win a Hillclimb Stage where both of your Run times are faster than any other.
How to: Basically, you have to be very good. Hillclimb consists of two runs of the same stage, and your worse one has to be better than anyone else's best.

Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Description: Win a Hillclimb Event.
How to: Single event or championship, go out there and set the best total time.

Hardcore Mode achievements
These relate to winning stages and events with additional difficulty settings.
Note: Considering this additional hardships, it's better to pick a car and track you're familiar with. For a generally easier time, pick a 2010s car and one of Germany's stages, but that's up to experience.

I am the 5%
Description: Win an event in headcam.
How to: Set Forced Camera to On in Profile > Game Preferences, and win an event.

Maximum Attack
Description: Win every stage on a 12 stage event with all assists off.
How to: Set the Manual Launch control, ABS, TC and SC to Off in Profile > Game Preferences. Set up a 12-stage event and win every stage. Can be done in Custom Event
Note: By some reports, the achievement may be bugged and only trigger in League events.

Visceral... but in the correct meaning of the word
Description: Win an event with all assists off, no HUD and in headcam.
How to: Set the preferences from the two previous achievements, and also Entire HUD to Off. Win an event.
Garage
Achievements related to buying and upgrading your cars.

Obviously
Description: Buy a Rally Car.
How to: Go into career and you'll be prompted with a menu to buy your first car. At the start you get 50.000 which can buy you a Mini or Lancia Fulvia. Either will do.

WWGFD?
Description: Unlock an upgrade for one of your cars.
How to: Race with the same (bought) car enough and it will unlock an upgrade. Earlier classes are faster to upgrade. After finishing the "XP bar", to install the upgrades and get the achievement, finish the current Event.

Business at the front...
Description: Fully upgrade a FWD vehicle.
Note: The FWD car classes are 1960s and Kit Car.

...Party at the back
Description: Fully upgrade a RWD vehicle.
Note: The RWD car classes are 1970s, 80s RWD and Group B RWD.

Moar Wheel Drive
Description: Fully upgrade a 4WD vehicle.
Note: 4WD is the most populous group at the moment, with Group B AWD, Group A, 2000s and 2010s classes. Hillclimb and Rallycross cars are 4WD as well.

Garage Space
Description: Own a vehicle in four different classes.
How to: Buy cars from four (out of the game's eleven) classes. After the first class, cars will quickly get expensive, but at higher levels of Career you'll get the required money much quicker too.

4
Description: Fully upgrade a vehicle in four different vehicle classes.
How to: Race the cars you got for the previous achievement long enough, and they'll get the upgrades.

Going Up In The World
Description: Buy a Hillclimb car.
How to: In garage, go to the right and select Hillclimb as the category. HC cars run from 175 to 300+ thousand credits.
Team Management
Achievements related to your Engineers and Crew Chief.
They help you repair better and upgrade faster.

It's Gonna Cost Ya
Description: Hire an Engineer to work in your Service Area.
How to: Go to Career > Crew Management, unlock the first Engineer slot, and hire an Engineer. Despite the name, first engineers are pretty cheap – the cheapest Engineer for hire is just 3,200 for 32 stages.

Full House
Description: Hire Engineers into every slot in your Service Area.
How to: 2nd to 4th engineer slots unlock by clocking some distance in the game. Eventually you'll get all the slots open. The contracts can run up to 42,000, but you just need any engineer for it.

You Can Call Me Chief
Description: Apply a Perk to your Crew Chief.
How to: After 100 miles / 160.9 kilometers of racing, the 'perk' for your Crew Chief will be unlocked for purchase. First-level perks cost 20,000 credits and give a 5% boost to upgrade speed of certain cars (limited by drive type, class, nation of origin, or specific model).

Hot Coffee
Description: Apply a Perk to an Engineer.
How to: Engineers get perks the same way your Crew Chief does, but since you can change your engineers, to get the perk you must make sure to stick with the same one.

Faster Chief
Description: Unlock the Crew Chief's 5th level of skills.
How to: The same way the Chief gets perks, he also gets XP for the skills. His improvements affect the repair efficiency of all Engineers.

Toolbox
Description: Fill three of the Crew Chief's Perk Slots.
How to: In the same way as the first perk, second unlocks at 500 miles / 804.5 kilometers, and third at 1000 miles / 1609 kilometers. They cost more to buy (40k for second and 60k for third) once unlocked, but are also more powerful.

Percolated
Description: Fill three of an Engineer's Perk Slots.
How to: Same as Crew Chief's more powerful perks. Again, keep in mind to use the same engineers if you want this.

Boss
Description: Have all of your engineers operating at maximum Efficency.
How to: For this, you'll have to unlock your Crew Chief's 6th skill level – it's not shown on the Details screen, but requires around 5000 kilometers driven – and get the top-tier engineers.

Genius At Play
Description: Achieve a Team Rating of 70.
How to: Team Rating is the number representing the overall strength of your Crew Chief and Engineers. To get to 70, you should have a well-leveled Chief and four good-to-great Engineers.
Career Championships
Progression achievements
You start your Championships career with the Open level, get promoted if you finish in top 3, and relegated if you drop below 13th. Try to do the former and avoid the latter, and you'll progress through the stages quickly. Note that the higher levels not only include the faster AI, but also longer events with more numerous, longer, and harder stages.
Progression can be made in any game mode – Rally, Hillclimb or Rallycross.

Local Hero
Description: Get promoted to Clubman level in Championships.
Note: Clubman is the 'fourth' level, directly above Open, where you start.

National Treasure
Description: Get promoted to Professional level in Championships.
Note: Professional is the third level, next after Clubman.

Happy Trails
Description: Get promoted to Elite level in Championships.
Note: Elite is the second-best level, over Professional.

King of the World
Description: Get promoted to Masters level in Championships.
Note: Masters is the top level, with promotion from Elite. This level gives no further promotions.

Master Achievements
These conditions have to be met after achieving the Master rank through progression.

Born to Run
Description: Become Champion at Masters level in Championships.
How to: Finish at the top after getting to the top.

Nobody Knows I’m Famous
Description: Win three Masters Championships using three different vehicles.
How to: Get to the top and finish best with using different vehicles. Can be from the same class or different ones.

Car Class Wins achievements
To get one of the following achievements, buy an appropriate car, use it in the Championship, and try your best.

Swingin' 60s
Description: Win a Championship in a 1960s vehicle.

Does Your Mother Know?
Description: Win a Championship in a 1970's vehicle.

Child of the 80's
Description: Win a Championship in a 1980's RWD vehicle.

Fire Spitting Monsters
Description: Win a Championship in a Group B 4WD vehicle.

Homologation
Description: Win a Championship in a Group A vehicle.

So Last Year
Description: Win a Championship in a 2010's vehicle.

Here's One I Made Earlier
Description: Win a Championship in a Kit Car vehicle.

We The Terrors
Description: Win a Championship in a Group B RWD vehicle

Friends - Rivals - Champions - Legends
Description: Win a Championship in a 2000s vehicle

Hello? Is it me you R looking 4?
Description: Win a Championship in a R4 vehicle

Propane and Propane Accessories
Description: Win a Championship in a Hillclimb vehicle.
Note: Obviously, unlike others, you have to select the Hillclimb championship and not the Rally one.

Custom Championships
With v0.8 you can set up championship of any desired skill level and event number and length. These achievements have to be done through that ability. Go to Career > Custom Championship to start one.

The Spice of Life
Description: Complete a Custom Championship in Rally, Hillclimb and Rallycross
How to: Create and complete a custom-setting championship in each of three disciplines.

Self Made Millionaire
Description: Earn a total of 1,000,000CR in Custom Championships
How to: The payout per stage increases sharply with AI skill, so a Masters of a full length can do it in one run. You don't have to do it in one go, however.
Rallycross
General Rallycross
These can be achieved in any RX race, unless specified.

Mr. Smooth
Description: Complete a Rallycross race without colliding with another car.
How To: You will likely be able to do this in the Open championship. It's much easier to do this in semis and finals than in heats, because the start (where most collisions happen) is more staggered

Good spot
Description: When the spotter recommends you take the Joker on the first lap, do so and then win the race.
How To: After the RX expansion, the appropriate spotter's voice line has been added, so just keep an ear out for it at the start.

Clean Sweep
Description: Finish top of the Heat Leaderboard, win your Semi-final and win the Final.
How To: Stay consistently good through the event. Isn't a problem with low-tier AI. Note that you don't have to score max points in heat, just have the best total.

Racing Stripes
Description: Score maximum points in the Heats phase of a Rallycross event (fastest in all 4 heats).
How To: Stay good through the heats. Again, should be easy to do with low-tier AI

It’s a bold strategy
Description: Take the Joker on every lap of a race and win.
How To: Can be done pretty much everywhere as long as you're good (and AI is bad) enough, but the track where Joker is least punishing is Höljes Full. Set the race to 2 laps to drive the impact down further.

JUST LIKE THE REAL THING!
Description: Fully upgrade a Rallycross car.
How To: Buy an RX car (all cost 350 thousand credits) and race it enough to get all the upgrades. Shouldn't take too long. I unlocked mine around the time I reached Elite level in the championships.

FIA World RX
These can only be achieved in the FIA World RX championship.

Playing With The Big Boys
Description: Unlock the FIA World Rallycross Championship
How To: Reach the Professional level in "normal" RX championship, and the option to participate in FIA World RX will appear in the Championship menu.

Monster Energy Supercharge Award
Description: Be first into the first turn in the Final of an FIA World Rallycross Event.
How To: Finish 1st in the Semi to be placed in the front row, and then beat your rowmate to the punch. Fiesta has the best acceleration, so it's your best bet for this.

Damn This Kid is Good
Description: Win the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
How To: Simple but not easy. World RX has the same AI skill level as Masters championship, so you have to be at your best game.

Show Boat
Description: Win an FIA World Rallycross Event by reversing across the finish line
How To: Before spinning around, you should gain enough of a time advantage to make sure you'll have time to do it and still win. You have to be going backwards for a bit of a distance, not just do a 180 right before crossing the finish line. This has to be World RX finals, so it won't be easy.
Multiplayer
Timed Events
All timed events are found under Career > Online events.

Gotta get me one of these
Description: Complete a Daily Event.
How to: The daily events are one-stage events with a pre-selected car. You don't have to own it.

Any Given Sunday
Description: Complete a Weekly Event.
How to: The weekly events are six-stage sets refreshed each Monday. You have to finish all six stages in order to get a time with the Weekly.

Dependable
Description: Complete a Monthly Event.
How to: The monthly events are long, endurance-focused 24-stage events, unlocked by part each week, six stages at a time. You have to do all 24 over the month.

Easier Said Than Done
Description: Finish in the Top Tier of an Online Event.
How to: This takes a good time in addition to just finishing, but eventually you will get it. Daily events may be faster to do, but with consistent driving, top tier is more achievable in longer events.

Circuit Trained
Description: Finish in the top tier of a Rallycross Online Event
How To: This is largely a chance, since you're not in control of what gets picked for the Online events. One has been posted right after the RX update and several more after the expansion, so keep an eye out.

The Only Way is Up
Description: Finish in the top tier of a Hillclimb Daily in Online Events
How To: Again, largely a matter of waiting, because Hillclimb isn't exactly common in Dailies. Look out for it, and don't stack it when it comes.

Owned
Description: Finish in the Top Tier of the Owners Club Daily in Online Events
How To: Owner's Club Daily is the event in the bottom left of the Events menu. Get a car that it requires (or wait for one featuring one you already do), and get on it.

Turtley Awesome
Description: Beat the Delta Time in a Delta Daily in Online Events
How To: Delta Dailies also require you to own the car they feature, but the difference is that you're competing against a certain time rather than a leaderboard. It is usually somewhat easier.

A Whole Lot of Cheddar
Description: Win the maximum return on your stake in a Wager Event in Online Events
How To: Wager dailies are daily events where you place a bet on your performance, and win if you get into tier 2 or 1. To get the achievement, you have to place in the first third. Be warned though, the minimum bet is 100k, and you lose it all if you retire! Additionally, you're not supposed to know the location and car used in the wager, but this info has been visible on the site on the event's day.

PVP
PVP is found under Career > PVP.

The Fun Starts Here
Description: Compete in an Event in PVP.
How to: PVP events are located at Career > PVP. Join any lobby and run a race.

MVP
Description: Win an Event in PVP.
How to: Join a race and win it. In events with 8 people in 2 simultaneous runs, you only have to win against your direct opponents.

Investment Vehicle
Description: Win an Event in PvP with a car that you own.
How to: Buy an RX car (you should have one from all those won championships) and get first.

Pedal to the Mettle
Description: Win a 3-event championship in Championship Playlist.
How to: In the PVP menu, go to Championship Playlist, join a lobby and win the event on points.

Whose House?
Description: Win an Online Custom Championship in PVP.
How to: In the PVP menu, go to Online Custom Championship, either create or find one, and win the championship on point totals.

I Made This!
Description: Create and complete an Online Rallycross Championship.
How to: In the PVP menu, go to Online Custom Championship, then Create Championship, set up the events and complete them.

Mr. Steady
Description: Complete a PVP Event with a Very Clean rating.
How to: There isn't a way to check your rating AFAIK, but you're likely to get up to Very Clean after a few races with no collisions.

So Serious
Description: Complete a Joker Lap in PVP without losing a position.
How to: You have to either be very fast through that joker, or last when you go into it.

#HappyStreet
Description: Be in a full Rallycross PVP lobby where every other player is your friend
How to: You need seven friends who'll play PVP, simpler to do by joining a community that plays DR *wink wink*

Leagues
Ways to join and participate in a league is found in Main menu > Leagues, as well as http://dirtgame.com/leagues

Room for a small one?
Description: Join a League
How to: Find a league to join on the game's website, linked above, or the Leagues menu
Shameless plug: Why not join ours?[www.dirtgame.com] Community votes, relaxed ruleset and manageable length for both seasons and individual events.

GG
Description: Complete a Season in Leagues
How to: Participate in the league you joined for the previous achievement to complete a season.

My ball, my rules
Description: Create a League
How to: When your body, mind and soul are ready for this massive responsibility, go to the Leagues page and click Create a League.
Note: By some reports, the achievement only triggers when the league's first season is created and started, so click on "Create a Season" on the Season page and make one.
Miscellaneous
I've Signed the Dirt Charter
Description: Played Dirt Rally during Early access.
How to: Just start the game and have it fully loaded, if you've bought in during Early Access.

How You Like Me Now?
Description: Change your Livery.
How to: After buying a car, when entering an event, press either LB or RB on controller and it should pop up. This can also be done in custom event at any time.

DiRTy Love
Description: Watch the credits.
How to: Credits can be rolled at any time by going to Options > Credits.

When Jon met Paul
Description: Win an Event in the Subaru Impreza 1995 with the DiRT 3 livery applied.
How to: All in the description. Just an event win with very specific conditions. Achievable in Custom Event.

Pass the Sauce Ari
Description: Fully upgrade the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2.
How to: Buy the car and race with it until you've got the second Turbo upgrade.

#ThrowbackThursday
Description: Win a Masters Championship Event In the MINI Cooper S.
How to: Reach the Masters level, pick the 1960's as the class of choice, get in the Mini and win.

DiRTy Dancer
Description: Win an Event at Pikes Peak (Mixed Surface) in the Peugeot 405 T16 Pikes Peak
How to: Like the Subaru achievement, just win an event under specific conditions.

Moosing Around
Description: Roll your car in a Rallycross event at Höljes
How to: Höljes is a jumpy track, so there's several opportunities. The jump before the last long turn may be the best.
Delta Time
There are 80 achievements that require you to beat the Delta Time at a Single Event at a specific stage, one achievement for each stage available in the game in Rally and Hillclimb modes.

They are achieved the same way – by going to Custom event, setting comparison against "community delta" in the event settings, picking the stage you want, using any car, and beating the time over the stage overall.

You can do stages one by one or unite them into one event, as long as you beat the delta in every stage.

There's no Pulse...
Description: Get beaten by the Delta on any stage
How to: The reverse of the other 80, lose to the Delta after running it on any stage.
Conclusion

Faster Chief / Boss.

Can confirm previous commentaries. Level 6 required. Got both with 6423 km in the statistics. 243 rally, 55 hill, 51 rally cross. So total around 349 events completed, but I guess the total distance matter, not number of events.

The "Racing Stripes" unlocked on the clubman championship.

The "Racing Stripes" achievement didn't unlocked. I scored 200 heat points on the first career championship. Is there a hidden requirement? Screenshot .

@koRRupted it isn't. You can delete the savefiles in the steamfolder and then you are able to do the events again. But you should deactivate Cloudsync as well on Steam.
