Basics of how to be gud

So, you want to learn some really good skills? Well you game to the right place. I will teach you everything you need to know about being one of those super "gud" players. this guide will cover all you need to know about teamwork and killing all of the enemy team solo!

Doesn't that sound good? before this guide is over you will be showing all those high level players how its done!

flagship

The flagship

This ship requires some real skill, but its okay because you have that huge healthbar, the enemy will know to fear you!

In order to use this ship you must put its weapons to full effect, this is easily done by firing at the enemy as soon as you see them, it doesn't matter about the distance, the light show will give the enemy a scare that will be sure to keep them away, or maybe even fly into the first star they see!
who can say!? but wouldn't that be nice!

This part only applies if the enemy spacecraft is dumb enough to actually engage you despite the firework show!

So the enemy ship is fighting you is it? well that's okay because you probably have the bigger ship! so the the only real course of action is to charge the enemy head on, it's okay if you break formation because the rest of the team has a good understanding that you will actually win this fight. That darn destroyer has no chance in hell of beating you!
And that sniper firing at you? Bah, that one is as good as dead! Once you blow up that nasty destroyer that is!

so you killed everything and now you have money to spend on upgrades!

So you can buy some new things? Well that's great because now we can get those cool looking barrel things that blow up at 8-10k meters! those things look good, well you are in luck, because they might well be the greatest gun in the game. no longer do you have to worry because now you have blue fireworks, yes they fire at a slower rate but the extra few units of damage really make the difference!

There isn't much I can say beyond this point since you won that first round and have these new barrel things! Nothing can stop you!

So get that flagship ready and go take out some enemy fleets!

The Hunter

Got the Hunter? good because you have cannons, good!

So you have the hunter? well you should because its a starter ship and we all get one of these wonderful ships! Those four cannons on the front will certainly be a fine help fighting the enemy!

First things first!

Although it may not look like it the hunter is by far one of the best frontline ships in the game, sure it doesn't have much shields/health but the cannons more than make up for it! sure it would be easy to avoid frontline combat with its helpful blink ability, but that's not the point! It has cannons and that's what we are going to use!

"So how do I use these cannons to the full effect?" you might ask yourself, don't worry lad! Because I will teach you how to kill the enemy quickly with them! Want to harras the enemy and support the Flagships? wrong class silly, we all know flagships don't need support! didn't you read the first part of the guide? it clearly states the flagship is a mobile killing machine from hell!

Anyway back to the point, I don't have much to say about the hunter other than a head on charge is the best idea, it really scares enemy destroyers and enforcers to see a small ship covered in four cannons heading towards them! chances are you would have won at this point by holding down left click at 20k meters distance, not the case? Okay so let's get closer! "How do I do that?" well use blink of course!

Blink

so you are using blink for the first time, that's great blink is a great way to get in close with the enemy and get to those kills before the rest of the team, wouldn't want to put those scrubs in danger would we? But that's okay because we are going to make it safe for them by killing the enemy before they reach us!

Blinking is a short to medium range teleport which allows us to show up right in front of the enemy ship, so close infact, that the commanders can actually lock eyes and maybe have a romantic moment, ANYWAY back to the point, once you get in close remember that its a game of chicken! you don't move out the way of those incoming shells, they move out the way of you! So remember to stay put and soak up that flak, but remember to return fire because you are sure to win. Don't forget never to blink out the way of the enemy! Wouln't want them to think we are scared or anything like that!

I know I don't cover all the important stuff but that's okay because we are really good at this game and we already know everything by now!

corvette

The Corvette

So you have this cool looking space craft thingy? That's really cool and everybody thinks so too!
The selling point of this ship is the light show it can provide! and we all think that's great!

So you just warped into A1?

Let the enemy know what they are in for by hitting RMB! This will let off a really cool bright green strobe light/laser. By doing this the enemy will know to be careful because corvettes usually have other spaceships around them, probably because the rest of the team loves being next to that light show!

See that allied Flagship? he is following you because he knows he has some really cool fireworks, and he knows that you also have to really cool lights! work as a team by shazzaming the enemy with all different kind of light! heck, you also have those cool purple things that light up and even follow enemies! But that's not what matters because we have the Green laser beam! And that's what we will be shooting the enemy with today. It's certain to give the enemy a scare!

Just ignore the burning allies around you, it's a war and people get hurt, they will probably return to base and repair before you know it! And all those angry people in chat saying mean things about you? Probably something about the strobe light, who cares because they are just upset they didn't choose to fly the Corvette that mission. it's not our falt they don't know how to play this game, the nerve of some people.

The corvette also comes with some sort of stupid shield but who cares, that's only good to use before the battle starts, it adds to the lightshow after warping into a new area anyway!

Now go get some kills with the corvette, its speed and lights will really be helpful!

Bases

So you are going for bases

A real team player? That is certainly great, not much to say as its a matter of just going for grey and red circles on the map.
After you warp into a new section of the map and do the ol'light show trick, it's time to cap some bases! We should start be slowly moving towards the closest base, it would be too optimistic to take the middle ground so early on wouldn't it?

Once all bases have been capped on oneside of the map you will probably notice that the otherside of the map is all red bases? oh no, this means the enemy has them, the enemy team will probably try to attack the main base, but don't worry someone else will deal with that! in the meanwhile you should do the same and go for the enemy base! did you take a corvette? Good because we need to use that green laser to scare the enemy base into submission!

guides certainly take a while to write don't they?

By now you should have taken the enemy base down to half cap! great job, but while doing this the middle section has become open to capture! That buff will be really handy to use! Rather than press the attack on another flank, or attack in force through the already controlled section, lets go capture that middle ground!


Anyway, by this point you should have won the game, just repeat the first steps of this section over again, easy win
