I fully agree. DkS has the same atmosphere VS had. One would even tell VS was an inspiration for Souls series. But that crafting system... Damn, it was complicated.

It is quite similar in some ways. But you know, once you've played Dark Souls, every other game feels so different!

Herald of a Grey Dawn, In my opinion , Vagrant Story is very similar to Dark Souls. Survival against a fairly strong opponents , bosses and exploring the world . Also, the art style is very similar to a series of Souls. One of my favorite games on PS One
