Introduction
Greetings!

Seeing as Luminosity didn't have an achievement guide yet, I thought that I'd cook one up. It really isn't that complicated game and all the achievements are pretty straight-forward, but it can be here for the reference of those who want to know how difficult can it really be.

For me it took about 7 hours to get every achievement. It can no doubt be done faster but it might also take longer if you do not get a routine in doing the Arcade levels a few times.

Thanks to Jeeper (coincidentally, one of the developers) for aiding with the description of the Unlock Ship achievements!

I hope you find the guide useful.
Campaign achievements
These are the ones you can't miss if you play through the campaign. The difficulty setting does not matter for the campaign achievements.

Campaign Rookie
Beat the first level in campaign.
Arcade mode unlocked
Beat the first five levels of the campaign.
Brown Galaxy
Beat all the levels in the first (brown) galaxy. For this it does not matter, whether you perfected them or not.
Ship unlocked: SHIELD
Unlock SHIELD ship for Arcade mode. Beat the last level of the first (brown) galaxy to unlock it.
Ship unlocked: FALCON
Unlock FALCON ship for Arcade mode. Beat the last level of the second (green) galaxy to unlock it.
Green Galaxy
Beat all levels in the second galaxy with at least one star.
Blue Galaxy
Beat all levels in the third galaxy with at least one star.
Ship unlocked: TERTIUS
Unlock TERTIUS ship for the Arcade mode. Beat the last level of the third (blue) galaxy to unlock it.
Ship unlocked: AMORPHOUS
You know, unlock AMORPHOUS. Pretty straightforward. Beat the last level of the fourth (red) galaxy to unlock it.
Red Galaxy
Beat the fourth and last campaign with at least one star in each level.

There are also some that you can miss but you can always come back for them later. They are the perfection (3 stars) achievements. You'll get each one by getting all 3 stars in each of the 9 levels of the galaxy. Basically this means you are not allowed to lose health.

World one perfectionist
Beat all 9 levels of the first galaxy with 3 stars for each level.
World two perfectionist
Beat all 9 levels of the second galaxy with 3 stars for each level.
World three perfectionist
Beat all 9 levels of the third galaxy with 3 stars for each level.
World four perfectionist
Beat all 9 levels of the fourth (last) galaxy with 3 stars for each level.
Arcade achievements
These are unlocked through playing Arcade mode. You have to unlock it first by playing 5 levels of the campaign. There are a bunch of different ships you can use in the arcade mode, introduced by and unlocked through playing the campaign. Each has up- and downsides, so choose whichever one seems to fit your playstyle. Myself, I used Shield because of its crowd control and otherwise very useful shield ability.

The main (if not only) difference between difficulty levels is the speed of the drones. You'll get one achievement for each 10 levels. Note you only need to get to the level to get the achievement, so you don't need to beat the 30th level to get all of them. For a couple of the achievements you have to grind a little.

One full game in Arcade mode lasts usually 10 to 20 minutes depending on how far you get.

My strategy was to buy as much as possible of Reconstruction (chance of regeneration between levels) and also Deflect (chance to block damage). I would also buy a couple of levels of Rapid-fire (laser speed), Efficiency (longer power-up durations) and Fortune (more power-ups). Endurance (more initial life) was also useful, but it won't affect Amorphous (ship that has single life).

These are the achievements you get by playing Arcade mode. They'll unlock automatically if you play enough or get far enough.

Get to the level 10, 20 and 30 on Easy setting.
Get to the level 10, 20 and 30 on Medium setting.
Get to the level 10, 20 and 30 on Hard setting.
Get to the level 10, 20 and 30 on Insane setting.
Win 1, 100 and 500 Arcade levels. It takes a few hours.

Then there are the arcade trick achivements. They are "trick" achievements in a way that you have to do a specific thing to get them. Also, you have to play the Arcade mode to get them.

Frugal Pilot
Beat an Arcade level shooting just two lasers. Do this in an Easy difficulty setting in one of the first levels. Just wait until all drones are on the other side of the area and laser them in.
Guardian Angel
This one's a luck based achievement. You have to "block" damage while having 1 health. First, you have to buy at least one level of the Deflect upgrade in Menu --> Factory --> Upgrades. Then, there's a chance that the damage will be blocked when you get hit. If you play several games, this will happen eventually.
Improved
You have to play a game of Arcade to gain some gold. Then you can buy stuff at the Factory's upgrade section. It's in Menu --> Factory --> Upgrades. For the achievement it doesn't matter what you buy but do plan according to your playstyle, so that it will be easier to reach the higher levels on different difficulty settings.
Miscellaneous achievements
The rest of the achievements include both grindy and skill-based ones. They can be unlocked in both Campaign and Arcade mode, though some of them are easier to achieve in the other.

The grindy ones you'll get by playing:
Trigger happy
Shoot 100 lasers. You'll get this while playing through the Campaign.
Gunner
Now do it 10 times more. That is, shoot 1000 lasers. You'll get this while playing Arcade mode.
Heavy Artillery
This one is more grindy, and you might have to play Arcade mode more than you actually need to for other achievements. You have to shoot 5000 lasers.
Destroyer
Destroy one teeny-weeny drone. Simple as that. You'll be introduced to the Destroyer power-up in the second level of second galaxy.
Deconstruction
Destroy 10 drones. This one you will probably unlock during the Campaign levels.
Sabotage
Now repeat Deconstruction 5 times for 50 drones.
Demolitionist
One-up Deconstruction once more for a total of 100 drones. Arcade mode is probably where this and Sabotage will eventually happen for you.

The tricky ones you have to do some special stuff to get:

Every bit counts
Conquer an area worth 3 or less points. You'll can try to do this by trying and blocking one of those slow-moving, small drones with almost vertical or horizontal paths and then just squeezing points out of their zone until you get small enough area for the achievement.
Lions share
Get 1500 points at a single time. This is probably easiest to do on Easy difficulty in the first levels of Arcade mode. You'll have to get around half of the map covered with a single laser.
Master of Destruction
Semi-tricky, you have to destroy 3 drones at the same time. You can do this rather easily in the Campaign mode in the second map of the second galaxy in which you begin with a spawned Destroyer power-up and there are a plenty of drones to use as a target practice.
100 Percent Awesome!
This is the tricky one. Basically all the droids have to be in the same area and you have to destroy them all at the same time. You can go to Easy Arcade mode (for slower drones) with Shield ship (for additional crowd control) and grind the first two to five levels until you get the destroying laser power-up. Before picking it up, make the area as small as possible without beating the level and while keeping all the drones in the same area. Then pick the power-up (again, without beating the level) and guide the drones close together with Shield's ability. With some good timing and luck you'll manage to destroy all at the same time and conquer the whole level.

For some reason I cannot save my edits to the guide (or see a preview or the differences). This might have something to do with some recent Steam updates.

For the time being, I'll say my changes here: Unlock Ship achievements are attained when you beat the last level of a galaxy.

The recent patch fixed Destroyer achievement, which works now. Test achievement Revy has also been removed, so it is now possible to perfect the game.
