The time of peace is once again threatened in the ancient Japan empire. The old prophecies spoke about a dark and powerful foe slowly claiming our land. Only a brave sumo warrior and his dragon companion stand a chance against this deadly threat.

Take control of Mogami - a brave sumo warrior, the bearer of dragonblood. He and his little dragon companion, both have a serious and rock-hard job to do. Crush the mean stone army and retrieve the sacred lampions of the emperor.

Experience an action RPG in the style of Zelda with a whole island of beautiful locations and dangerous dungeons. Lots of deadly enemies must be dealt with and puzzles solved to finaly retrieve the stolen lampions of Emperor himself.

The game planed features:

- A big island full of beautiful and unique places to visit
- 3 Levelable characters, each one with unique skills and gameplay
- cooperation gameplay system between 2 main characters
- control your little dragon companion to solve puzzles, destroy enemies with certain skills or have him in defence mode to help you
- control your character on ground or on a flying dragon depending on the location
- lots of interactive NPC's, story driven gameplay
- unique enemies and bossfights

Current state:
When i first started with Dragonrider, the idea was to create a jump and run game. But after a while i couldn't get the idea out of my head, to push the experience forward and make more from the lore and story. To be able to level up the character and gain skills, solve puzzles and get the company of the little dragon which is also a levelable character either in auto mode or the player can take control over him. These were the thoughts which started this game.

To bring you Dragonrider in the quality and experience needed, we need your help! Spread the word so that this project can one day become a real and awesome game. The game itself is still in an early stage for an RPG, altough the overal graphics is in fairly advanced state. The plans for the upcoming months are to lay down the details of the story and lore, level and loot system, finish the dungeons and lots of testing and adding secret areas. The task is not a small one and the overal progress will very much depend on the comunity and that means guys like you :)
