On his 18th birthday, a young Media Mogul begins a quest to save the world. The Earth is in ruins and the Dark Wizard Gettys rules from high atop the Dark Tower in the east. With his father's sage advice safely in his mind, Charles recruits a band of brave warriors to cleanse the world of the Four Deadly Dungeon Masters. Along the way, he may learn the truth about what destroyed this once beautiful world.

C. Kane is a short form turn-based RPG that streamlines the genre to its basics; fighting monsters, talking to people, playing dress up. Dungeons are minimalist, graphics are monochrome. Random battles are no more, bosses are numerous. A Shark guides the way. An original hip hop soundtrack provides the beats. Give it a listen here:

As seen on Kotaku and IndieGames dot com[], C. Kane was released in 2013 and later ported to Android devices. Now, I'm looking to get it listed on Steam so that more people can experience True Art: Punching a burping shark and eating worms to recover health.

Good news! The Mac version is up (if anyone notices odd behavior in it, let me know ASAP) and should be working now, and keys for bundle buyers have been sent to the admins at Groupees. Everyone should get their key within a day or two.

Woo! Awesome to see it. Will have to wait a bit longer since I'm on OS X but it's a relief to hear the non-Windows versions are being worked on :)
BobSurlaw  [author] Jan 25, 2016 @ 6:31pm Game's live for sale! This is the Windows version: Mac version is up next, followed by Linux. Thanks for your patience, people who bought it in bundles will be getting their codes as soon as possible.

Game update and store listing are all complete, so all that's left is to wait for Valve's approval to turn live. I'll be requesting product keys to send out to the bundle buyers as soon as possible, thanks for the support!

Sure, that makes sense. First priority is the game itself. I bought it through Groupees, hope we get the games asap after it's release :woo::tutu:

That's definitely something I want to do, but will wait until after the game itself is all up and good to go.

YAAAY! Are you planning on adding achievements / trading cards? No rush with that, you could implement it any time later but cards would be sweet (I want emotes!!! lol) and mean more extra cash :P

After a twelve hour development marathon, the new version of Kane is complete. All that's left is some more testing and then I'll figure out Steam's upload process. Thanks for being patient! If all goes smoothly it should be up by Monday.
