Spirit of Mordor Mission Walkthrough (with Video Walkthrough)

Walkthrough of the first mission with Ratbag that caused me some problems initially.

Initially, you will have to ward off a group of Uruks and protect Ratbag. This is not shown in the video since it is pretty self-explanatory. You will learn about Defenders. Follow the tutorial to jump behind the defender and kill him first. If Ratbag is ever under attack, make sure you kill off his attackers before killing the rest of the Uruks.

Once you follow Ratbag to the Stronghold, the game instructs you need to locate Goroth without getting detected. These are pretty vague instructions. What you want to do is sneak behind the Uruk walking around the corner, then stealth kill him. When you come up to the next opening, there are multiples Uruks walking around. You can stealth kill one of them, but it is not necessary. Simply climb the wall to the right of the ramp. You are looking for the archer up here, which is to the left. I went around to the right, but it would probably be easier going to the left. Here is another part I struggled with. Once standing above the archer, don't try to jump on him and do a stealth kill. You will likely go all the way to the bottom floor of the stronghold and alert the other Uruks. What you want to do is drop down behind the archer and immediately stealth kill him. This will lead to the next part of the mission.

After killing the archer, approach Goroth in stealth mode and follow the commands to mark him as your target. After sneaking past the Uruks on the bridge, climb the structure and fire an arrow to release the Caragor. Goroth will freak out and run away. At this point, keep a close eye on Goroth's movements and stay elevated. When he passes through the structure, simply do a jump stealth kill on him. It won't kill him, but it will wound him enough to interrogate him. There may be an Uruk or two that come to attack you, so take care of them or try immediately grabbing Goroth and interrogating him for an easy kill.
