HuniePop Guide to the Make the Move achievement

This guide will help you to get the Make the Move acievment for HuniePop. It is one of the fastest and easiest achievements to get. The key to this one is date gifts and timing.

There is already a guide for this achievement. Unfortunately it is miss-titled "Make the Love". It is a good guide that works. I am writing this guide because my method uses a 4+ multi-token match which is a subject I really like. The other method uses a single date gift and not a token match. Their method is too easy. With this one there is a greater sense of pride in accomplishment. (In my biased opinion)

The Make the Move achievement: While on a date; earn 2,000 or more affection from a single move.

The best time to earn this achievement is when you are dating the locked characters. By then you will have lots of nice date gifts. If you don't have the particular ones we need, that's o k you've got plenty of Munie to buy some more. If you have completed all the bedroom dates, try this achievement before going into Alpha. If you are in Alpha you can still get it this way up to Alpha date #17 (approx.) If you are far enough along in Alpha you have gotten this achievement automatically with the percentage date gifts.

What are we looking for in date gifts: ones that give us a long game (moves), ones that give us lots of sentiment, ones that bring passion up, power token makers, and one that drops more of her favorite token. If you are an experienced player you know exactly which I've described.
Here they are:
1. suede ankle booties
2. leopard print pumps
3. stuffed bear
4. nail polish
5. lipstick
6. her favorite perfume

Now that is a super hot date gift pack!

Here is what the game should look like after about 10 moves.
I have more than ten moves left because it is best to start the date with her food and alcohol maxed. That gives you 4 moves and 6 sentiment extra at the start. Also I had a couple of joy token matches. Notice that the shoes have been given. The bear was given after broken hearts built up to 8. Affection is at 9 because of the bear and the passion matches it brings. The perfume has been given. Already I have a sexuality token 4 match lined up. This is all good.


I love this next picture it makes me look so clever. Look at all those sexy 4 matches all just waiting there. Yes 3 of them! That folks takes luck and skill.
I have 8 moves left, but now is the time to stand and deliver.
First I give the nail polish, then the lip stick. Again I am lucky I have 2 options for a 4 match with 2 power tokens, her favorite. Next I match one of those and Shazzam. Achievement attained!


I'm doin' the math: 672 x 4 = 2,688. Beautiful. I didn't win the game with that move, for the achievement it doesn't matter. You could actually fail that date and still get the achievement.


I am displaying this one to brag and inspire. It is my record. 2268 x 6 = 13,608. Please beat it and capture a screenshot. I want to be inspired too.
It's not that hard. Get the right date gifts and deploy them with accurate timing. Piece of cake, right?

The Ring Shot

The other method for obtaining the Make the Move achievement is with a date gift, the Lovely Ring. It uses the delivery of a date gift instead of a token match. It is considered a little easier.
The date gift line up is:
1. Suede Ankle Booties
2. Leopard Print Pumps
3. Her Favorite Perfume
4.Stuffed Bear
5. Nail Polish
6. Lovely Ring
It is best to have your Passion Trait maxed. It is best to start with 6 sentiment and 24 moves, so food and drinks all around.
Before the first move give the the Suede Ankle Booties. Look for sentiment matches and 4+ matches so you can give the Leopard Print Pumps. When you have enough sentiment give the perfume. When Broken Hearts build to 8, deliver the Stuffed Bear. Look for and line up 4+ matches. That creates power tokens. This technique is obsessed with power tokens. Once you create a power token, don't match it. That could cash it in, we want to save it for the finale. 1-5 moves remaining. When you have plenty of power tokens on the board (4-7) you can win. Make sure your passion is maxed or nearly. If you can't see any useful matches go for it. First give the Nail Polish, then the Lovely Ring. Boom! Like a grand finale of a fireworks display and the achievement is yours. Have fun out there.

OMG I just got this achievement easily while using the Heart Necklace in Alpha Mode. I need over 10000 affection, my passion level was 11. 10000*2%*11=2200.

I was going to follow this guide, but I got the achievement by accident whilst I was on my third date with Venus: I used the Red Tulip to absorb 5 Red Tokens and 2 Red Power Tokens, after the tokens were consumed some other tokens matched-up too; the gauge went from almost full to completely filled, and I got the achievement. I guess I have good RNG and my affection level was really high. Still, this is a very nice guy, lad.
