This is different from just +X damage on hit or burst damage on crit, but specifically effects like cripple on critical hit, silence on ciritcal hit, % chance gloom on hit, etc. These types of effects have been broken on all ranged weapons as well as ammo in the main Tome 4 game. So a throat seeking bow would never silence the target when you critical hit, even though it says it should.
There are a few artifact items which do still have these types of effects work because they were hard coded awhile back, but ego items and random artifacts don't work as advertised. This addon fixes it so they work again. Hopefully, this will get fixed in the main Tome 4 code in the next release after 1.3.1.
can you tell me more specificly about what was broken? i just want to start an archer class but i'm not sure if i need this addon or not.
