Features:
- Adds 300 provinces throughout Europe
- More dynamic trade: adds five new nodes (Murava, Valencia, Napoli, the Danube, and the Irish Sea), restores Sevilla and Champagne to end nodes, and combines Novgorod and the White Sea
- New cultures: Arpitan, Frisian, Northumbrian, Highland Scottish, Cornish, Manx, Hiberno-Norman, Bosnian, Slovene, Slovak, Sorbian, and Icelandic
- New countries: dozens of new countries present at the 1444 start, and new formable nations: Iberia (Portugal-specific cultural union), Belgium, Illyria (South Slavic union), Great Moravia (West Slavic union), and Tír na Celtigh (Celtic union with unique ideas)
- New Colonial Region: Greenland
- Improved Kingdom of God decision, with buffed modifier and unique government form (Regnum Dei)
- More challenging and rewarding gameplay in Ireland with two paths to uniting the island, each with its own rewards
- Lots of minor cosmetic improvements (incl. flags, government names, & province names)
