Black Letterbox Fix!

This is a simple fix that removes the annoying black letterboxes/bars in the game, for those using 16:10 Widescreen monitors.

Fix for Black Bars/ Letterbox

• 1. Go to http://http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ and download the 'x64 Installer Package (Recommended)' for 64 Bit Systems.
  
  
• 2. Install the downloaded fws_setup_x64 to any location on your computer.
  
  
• 3. Run the Program
  
  
• 4. Agree to the Terms,
  
  
• 5. Close the 'About' popup window,
  
  
• 6. Click 'no' on the 'Configure Settings' popup
  
  
• 7. Scroll down & find 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter' on the left hand side in the 'FWS Plugins' list
  
  
• 8. Right click on 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter' and click 'install'
  
  
  
• 9. Leave everything as it is in the plugin setup that you just installed
  
  
  
• 10. Run the Vanishing of Ethan Carter and enjoy your completely 'letter box free' game ;)

NOTE:

1. You must leave flawless widescreen running while playing, you can minimize it and then it will be placed in your system tray. Open the tray, right click and select exit if you wish to stop the program.

2. Flawless widescreen will 'attach' itself the game without having to fiddle with the settings

3. If you feel unsafe about the program , you can scan it for viruses. PS: There are none! Or alternatively, get the portable version.

@Alamar "For those using 16:10 Widescreen monitors" I do not think 4:3 dimension is supported.

Don't work on my 4:3 crt monitor, is installs but no effect, I'm using amd radeon
