What DLC do you get in the Ultimate Edition? (No longer updated)

Payday 2 had a lot of DLC, however it was bundled into one massive bundle for everyone to enjoy! These are a list of DLC you get in said bundle!

With the announcement of the newest DLC at the time of this section Border crossing and the changes to the Ultimate Edition into the Legacy Edition, this guide will not be updated due to time and lack of interest of keeping this guide updated.

Due to Payday 2's Ultimate Edition, this guide has been overhauled, however mistakes will be here and there like "This DLC is a must buy!" even though you can't get it anymore, I'd appreciate it if you told me where the mistake is, so I can remove it.

How this guide works

1. This a collection of the community's opinon and not just mine, so if you disagree and want one of the DLCs to be moved, I won't do it until I find a large amount of people who agree.

2. All DLC will be mentioned, ones part of the Ultimate Edition, ones part of events like Humble Bundles, ones you can't get anymore etc, all of them will be mentioned.

Almir Tier (The Best DLC)

Here are the best DLC in the game, pretty much any Payday player should grab these due to how much fun and useful they are.

GAGE MOD PACK

The mod pack allows you to collect packages during heists which are randomly spawned on the map, when you complete a set, you gain some weapon mods. NEARLY ALL weapons in Payday 2 get a boost from this pack and is easily the best in the game, it turns some decent weapons into monsters like the CAR-4. It is often agreed this is the best DLC in Payday 2 and well worthy of that title.

SCARFACE CHARACTER PACK

This DLC allows you to play Tony and gives you access to a fantastic weapon and the best loud perk deck IN THE GAME! The weapon is 2 in 1! It's a high damage DMR with low ammo, however pressing 4 allows you to swap to a Grenade Launcher to deal with shields and large crowds! It's a must have!
The new perk deck replaces your throwable with a Injector which when used gives you 6 seconds of invincibility, and the cooldown is very short when upgraded as getting kills lowers the cooldown. Overall for these 2 alone, One Down becomes A LOT more easier. As for the "a Roaming frothing madness for a chainsaw" as Almir describes it is just another trash melee, in the video I like to edit it so he says "Nobody wants to get close to this Chainsaw" because it's trash.

GAGE CHIVALRY PACK

This DLC has been up to the top of the best DLC list and slammed back down to the bottom, and then back up. The Crossbows are monsters on One Down and can instantly kill any cop they hit, it's a must have for One Down players.

CLOVER CHARACTER PACK

Clover is a fun character to play as and is worth the money by herself, however her weapon The Queen's Wrath is really powerful! Plus her perk deck is the best for stealth with faster bagging times and pager answering! Plus it's a very intresting deck for loud since it adds dodge and benifits for standing still.

GAGE SHOTGUN PACK

This pack includes 3 new shotguns, however the biggest feature is Shotgun bullets like HE Rounds, this pack is worth it for the bullets alone! The best shotgun in this pack is the Raven Shotgun as it's really good in stealth and does a lot of damage, the Street Sweeper is only good for holding HE Rounds and the final shotgun is a lot of fun to use. However if you don't like using shotguns, skip this DLC.

THE BBQ PACK

This pack includes 3 new weapons, 4 melee weapons, molotovs, Dragon rounds and incendiary grenades for your Grenade Launchers. The weapons you get are the M32 Grenade Launcher, it's very powerful and great for crowd control, the Flamethrower which is a beastly damage dealer with a long reload, and finally you get the AA12 which is brillant at mowing waves of cops at close range, however the best thing from this pack is the molotovs, as they keep an area on fire for quite a while, and do heavy damage to a horde of cops.

GAGE HISTORICAL PACK

This pack contains 4 weapons, a pistol, SMG, LMG and a rifle. When it comes to weapon packs, this one has the most diversity and the weapons are all around soild. A fun pack and a great tribute to our Veterans.

GOLDEN GRIN CASNIO

The Dentist's final heist and easily one of my personal favourite heists, but that doesn't matter, what does is the weapons, you gain the CAVITY 9mm which is a good DMR with it's low concealment and crit chance, it's a great dodge weapon and can be used with the Broomstick to become a one hit death machine, and overall looks really cool. You also get one of the most intresting melee weapons, the buzzer which is a tazer that stuns everything except for Swat Van Turrets and Bulldozers,kinda like the Electric Brass Knuckles. For EXP farming this map is fantastic, even on Normal it gives out a lot! Overall a good pack.

THE GAGE SPEC OPS PACK

This pack adds a whole bunch of unquie mods, weapons that have been left into the dark like the JP36 and IZHMA 12G get monsterous buffs with mods in this pack, while I love to go over all the things you get in the pack like the fantastic sights and magazine mods, it would be too much, instead please read my review, as I go indepth with all the mods.

THE AK/CAR MOD PACK

This pack has a lot of mods which are mostly for the AK and CAR family only, if you don't like either of those familes, skip this DLC, some other weapons do get to use some of the mods included in this pack like the RPK, but the MAIN FOCUS of this DLC is for the CAR and AK family so stay away if you don't like them. But if you enjoy them, you get some fantastic mods that easily buff the already awesome rifles into monsters! Don't listen to the people who bash this DLC for the achievements, all of them are easy and nearly all can be done solo, it works better if you have a team, it's like Payday 2 is a CO-OP game or something....

Deathwish Tier (Second to best DLC)

Crawling into second are the second to best DLC, these DLC are all soild and are really fun overall, some may argue that these belong in Almir tier, and I might change these over time, you never know c;

GAGE RUSSIAN WEAPON PACK



You gain 3 weapons which have very simlar stats to other weapons, however all 3 have very soild stats and even direct upgrades in some cases, for an example the Tatonka is less modable then the CR 805B from the Biker pack, but has a larger Mag size and more total ammo. The Grom Sniper rifle is a very soild rifle due to it's fast reload speed and excellent damage, while the AK15 is also a soild weapon to use. Overall the weapons very simlar to others, but stand tall on their own. As for the melee it's a fun melee, and the masks are great!

GAGE NINJA PACK



The Gage Ninja pack includes 3 new weapons, a new mechanic which is poison and Shurikens, the Sniper rifle is easily the best rifle in the game, it's just a better Reapter from the Western Pack and does a better job then the R98 and Nagent, it's the best weapon out of this pack, you also gain a powerful SMG and a crossbow pistol. Poison is ok for loud but it works in stealth since you can stun enemies from calling the police, the best example is the Murky Guards. And lastly Shurikens are fantastic for stealth users, they are silent and come equipped with poison. Overall a very powerful pack.

GAGE SNIPER PACK



The Sniper pack is often said to be the best pack that includes new weapons, however it has fallen over the years. It includes 3 powerful rifles that are popular on harder difficulties like DeathWish. This pack not only includes the new weapons but offers a whole new playstyle for the owners, instead of being a tank or ghost, you can chill at the back destorying Sheilds and Bulldozers.

THE JOHN WICK WEAPON PACK



This DLC gives you 5 weapons, all 5 are very simlar to other weapons, however all of their concealment are all very high and are fantastic options for Stealth and Dodge alike, the Sniper Rifle is just a R93 with 1 less shot but a higher concealment, the UMP is horrid when you build it for mag size and damage as the SMG from the Biker pack does the exact same thing but better, however again it's concealment is very low meaning this bad boy loves crits and dodge! The Contractor pistol is simlar to the Baby Deagle, small, lots of concealment, smaller ammo pool then most pistols and a hard hitter! Another great pistol! However the Akimbo versions are a 100% downgrade to the Crosskill akimbo pistols.
Throwing knifes are the exact same thing as the Axes from the Biker Heists, same damage, but you get 6 of them!

HOTLINE MIAMI 2



If you own Hotline Miami 2 you gain 6 cool masks... however if you buy the Digital deluxe edition...


You gain Jacket, his SMG, melee weapon, a new perk deck and 2 extra masks. The SMG is nearly a straight upgrade to the Hotline Miami DLC's strongest SMG, the UZI. The SMG also has a lot of ammo and can pick up a lot of ammo as well. The melee weapon is Jacket's hammer, it's a decent melee weapon all around. The perk deck focuses on killing people at close-medium range, armor and melee, before this deck was pathetic and useless, now it's easily the most powerful DLC armor deck in the game, combine this with the Flamethrower from the BBQ pack and your pretty much unstoppable.

THE WOLF PACK



This pack intoduces a new Secondary Grenade Launcher, it has 3 loaded and ready to fire with 6 in reserve, this weapon replaces any HE Shotguns you use except for the Judge if you like to play with Dodge, the melee weapon is just the Katana from the Jiro pack with less range. This pack also includes 2 Classic heists, both are a lot of fun, however Counterfiet is the best when it comes to farming.

SYDNEY CHARACTER PACK



Sydney has a good model... and that's all the pros for her, her voice is just a Clover 2.0 and is even more annoying then Clover, the Bootleg Rifle is a LMG AR hybird but most Assault Rifles do better then the Rifle, the knife is trash, and the Perk Deck is actually really good, it's an armour version of grinder and is a lot of fun to use, overall the deck is the only thing worth getting, get this DLC when it's on sale.

GAGE WEAPON PACK #02



This pack brings 3 LMGs, right of the bat if you hate loud or playing a slow tank, skip this DLC and buy a diffirent pack. However all 3 LMGs are fun to use, but only one of them is really useful, the KSP Light Machine Gun is a straight upgrade to the RPK and Brenner-21 nearly in all areas stats wise. Also the Buzzsaw from the Gage Historical Pack is easily one of the best LMGs in the game, so this DLC is very skippable, However it's a fun DLC, so if you see it on sale, grab it.

THE SCARFACE HEIST PACK



This pack brings Scarface Mansion as a playable heist, it allows you to go stealth which can be very difficult for stealth players, or one of the loudest and craziest heists you will ever play, the EXP and money earned from this is very good too. Along with a crappy melee, you get a Rocket Launcher, with 4 Shots and 8 Ammo in reserve, each rocket does 5000 damage, and along with it's more ammo and firerate, it renders the HRL-7 from the Overkill pack useless. Overall a very fun and good pack.

Mayhem Tier (Third to best)

These weapon packs are fun addtions to Payday 2, these often contain items that outshine the rest of the pack, while the others range from decent to ok.

THE SOKOL CHARACTER PACK



This pack contains Sokol, a weapon, melee weapon and a perk deck. Sokol himself is a very funny character, but the intresting part of this DLC is his weapon and perk deck, the Valkyrie Rifle is very powerful and has a suppressor instailed on it by default, meaning it's a powerful weapon with suppressor skills and it's great for dodge builds thanks to it's low concealment. However the perk deck, the Grinder is easily the best thing out of this pack, this powerful deck allows you to lifesteal of enemies with your weapons, the cooldown for it is very small and you can endure large fights for much longer then normal, the deck has been nerfed but it's still a very powerful deck, however it falls when it comes to Deathwish and One Down, but on Mayhem and Overkill, it's a lot of fun to use.

THE POINT BREAK HEISTS!



This DLC comes with 2 heists, a new pistol and 4 new melees. The pistol is fantastic and packs a monster of a punch! Plus it has very good mods to go with it as well, easily one of the best pistols in the game! The melees are hit and miss, BUT the Ice Pick is just as strong as the Katana from the Jiro Pack and Great Sword from the Chivalry pack but with max concealment, which means it's one of the best melees in the game, the selfie stick also has max concealment and decent stats, the other 2 melees however are meh. The 2 Heists also offer a lot of experience and are great at farming for exp!

ARMORED TRANSPORT HEISTS



This is heist DLC which includes 3 awesome weapons, the Swedish K and Gruber Kurz are easily 2 of the best stealth weapons in Payday, plus the heists are a lot of fun! However it's the same objective, but only on diffirent maps. Overall grab this DLC, for the first DLC in Payday 2 it's a very soild one. For EXP farming there are much better options like Hotline Miami or Big Bank.

THE OVERKILL PACK



This pack includes 2 weapons, but not two ordinary weapons, but a MINIGUN AND AN RPG! The minigun is really good and a lot of fun to use, however the best weapon is the RPG because it's a SECONDARY AND IT DOES 10,000 DAMAGE MEANING IT ONE SHOTS EVERYTHING! (Except for turrets and some boss characters). I also suggest using a Shotgun if your using one of these, the Raven from the Gage Shotgun pack for the RPG, and the Locomotive for the Minigun. You also get an awesome mask hat and a badass van skin.

THE BIKER CHARACTER PACK



This pack adds Rust the biker into the game, he comes equipped with the Breaker 12G shotgun, a powerful lever action Shotgun with high damage and a crap ammo pickup, on Deathwish this shotgun will be your best friend, you also gain Rust's chain whip which has very high damage, you also gain access to the Biker perk deck, a mix of grinder and anarchist because when you do damage, you gain health and armour back.

GAGE WEAPON PACK #01



This pack is loved for 2 reasons, Grenades and Auto Fire Mod for Assault Rifles. That alone is worth it for this DLC, and the fun weapons and masks you get with this pack are the iceing ontop of a great cake.

GAGE ASSAULT PACK



A great pack,it includes 3 assault rifles, the FAMAS, Gecko 7.62 and Gewehr 3 and lastly a Grenade Launcher. The FAMAS is the best rifle out of the pack while having a high rate of fire with lots of damage, ammo, accuracy and a fast reload, the Gecko 7.62 when fully modded is very simlar to the UAR, and the Gewehr 3 is hands down one of the worst rifles in the game, do no equip it unless you do achievement hunting, You also get the GL40 which is amazing to use and can stun Bulldozers. Overall it's a fun pack, however if you hate Assault rifles, this pack is nearly useless for you.

JOHN WICK HEISTS



This pack adds 2 heists, one loud only and one stealth only heist, both are fun and the money earned along with EXP are good on both heists, the stealth heist is the best one, as it features a heist exclusive song and is just a lot more fun. Overall the Heists are great! However the new Sniper Rifle is quite good, it's a straight upgrade to the Lebensauger .308 found in the Ninja pack, however like the Lebensauger .308, it falls on higher difficulties above Mayhem.

Overkill Tier (Fourth to best)

These DLC are fun, however they don't match up to the tiers above, if you own all the tiers above and want something new, grab these!

THE BIKER HEIST
This pack gives you a 2 Day heist, along with those you gain a CAR version of the Krinkov SMG, very powerful while having low ammo compared to most SMGS, you also gain throwable axes which are brillant in stealth as they kill Murkey Guards in one hit if they see you. For EXP grinding this Heist does a good job, but not as good as other heists.

THE WESTERN PACK

This pack introduces 3 new weapons, the rifle is very unquie and holds 15 rounds, however it isn't a magazine like all the other rifles, but it loads like a Shotgun and overall is a fantastic weapon, the revolver is very powerful and easily one of the best pistols in the game, and the bow is fantastic and can be used on DW with the dynamite arrows and Low Blow aced. You also get throwable dynamite which is a reskin of the normal grenades, overall this DLC has a very nice mix of weapons!

HOTLINE MIAMI DLC

This awesome DLC is easily the most fun heist I had played in along time, it comes with cool masks and some fun melee weapons, all inspired by Hotline Miami. But the 3 SMGs have been out classed by newer SMGs like the Jacket's Piece, Vector and even some old SMGs that got buffed in future DLC packs, but they are still good weapons though but better options exist now, If you want a soild heist DLC, grab this now!
For EXP farming this is one of the best in the game due to the monstrous amount of Meth,coke and money you can cook/steal, a must have if you want to farm.

THE YAKUZA CHARACTER PACK

This pack comes with Jiro, an SMG, Katana and perk deck. While Jiro has an amazing backstory and only speaks japanese 90% of the time, this is not what you are here for. The SMG is awesome looking and a very good weapon thanks to it's max 32 concealment making it a great candidate for Stealth, Sneaky Bast**d and Low Blow builds, the Katana is easily the most powerful melee in the game when fully charged, and the perk deck only has it's effects when you have 25% or 50% of your health depending how far you upgrade it, but sadly it's possibly the weakest DLC perk deck overall. In my opinon this DLC is a lot of fun and possibly the most fun character pack in the game, however it's quite far away from being the most useful character DLC.

DRAGAN CHARACTER PACK

I love Dragan, he is funny as hell and very fun to play as, however his Rifle while cool looking, it's pretty much a downgrade to the FAMAS from the Assault Pack stats wise except for damage, his melee weapon is a Cleaver and has ok stats, however it should have been something else because we already have a Cleaver. And lastly his perk deck is much more better then it orignally was, however it is still rather weak compared to the other perk decks as it revolves around melee attacks, but you can easily kill tan cops on OK with max stacks with the Fire Axe, very powerful deck, however I'd say the Sociopath and Muscle perk deck are better choices.

THE ALESSO HEIST

This DLC includes one new heist, a new weapon and some new melees, the heist itself is hit and miss for most people due to it's maze like structure and tedious objectives. However this heist includes a new revolver with good stats and doesn't need pistol skills to be good, and lastly some new melee weapons to bash Cloakers with. For EXP farming this map is really good, but there are other maps which are better.

Bobblehead Bob Tier (Fifth to best)

Just because these DLC are at the bottom doesn't mean their not fun or crap, it's just because they aren't as useful as the DLC above. Fun? Yes. Useful? No.

THE BOMB HEISTS



2 heists instead of one, however this DLC like Big Bank only includes one weapon The LEO Pistol, it's a great pistol for Akimbo builds. The heists overall are very fun and Forest is easily one of the hardest in the game. For EXP farming it's not highly recommended here, there are other heists which are better for farming.

THE GOAT SIMULATOR HEIST



Don't judge a book by it's cover, this Heist offers more then just "Lawl a GOAT! HOW RANDOM DANK MEMES XD" this DLC offers a new Shotgun with simlar stats to the Locomotive and also brings a decent mix of melee weapons, overall a simple DLC, but adds a cool looking shotgun, melee weapons and a new 2 Day Heist! For EXP farming it's alright, however it's no Hotline Miami or Hoxton Breakout.

THE BIG BANK



A fun heist overall and easily one of my favourites in the game, however it's only a one day heist
and only includes one weapon the Falcon Rifle, however said weapon is great and has a badass firing sound. Overall fun DLC, but skippable. For EXP farming this map is really good thanks to the high amount of loot you can bag, however depending where the vault spawns, this could be easy, or near impossible without someone with Inspire.

The Diamond Tier (Sadly the worst DLC you get)

This Tier is only for DLCs that include no Weapons that isn't promotional or a soundtrack, so far The Diamond is only here...

THE DIAMOND



While the diamond is fun and has some really cool masks, it lacks a lot of content compared to most of the other heist DLC. Plus the heist itself is really easy and the achievements are very easy too. Overall it's the worst DLC in Payday due to the lack of content in the pack, don't get me wrong it's a fun heist, but if you want a new weapon or something, skip it. Plus the heist isn't that bad for EXP farming due to the high amount of loot you can get.

THE COMPLETELY OVERKILL PACK!

You must have bought this during the Hype Train event. You can trade giftable copies of this, search on TF2 Outpost or other trading sites to find someone who has it. This DLC contains a ton of Mega Masks, along with an exclusive safe with exclusive skins. However finding traders can be hard, and this DLC is very expensive now due to how rare and wanted it is, some have sold for nearly $500. Thank god I got this during the event!

You must have bought an E3 Ticket via Humble Bundle, some collectors might own codes for these masks so go trade with them if you want them.

HUMBLE MASK PACK 2

These masks were given for free during 2014's Halloween Event, however they were on for sale on Humble Bundle along with Payday 2 back in 2015.
If you missed both times to collect these masks, then a collector might own some codes for these masks so go trade with them if you want these masks.

You must have bought an E3 2015 ticket via Humble Bundle, some collectors might own codes for these masks so go trade with them if you want them.

This mask can only be obtained at PaydayCon 2015 and giveaways, there is no other way to obtain this mask.

ALIEN MASKS

You used to be able to get these via buying an Alienware Alpha, however this is no longer possible, and the only way to obtain these is via giveaways... good luck getting them...

MEGA CLOVER

This mask was only obtainable during Paydaycon 2016, it is only available for giveaways now and trading.

MEGA SYDNEY

This mask was only obtainable by donating money to Georgia Van Cuylenburg's Fundraiser, it is currently unknown if you can still get it there or not, however I have heard reports of people getting the mask today, I'm still unsure, so wait for a giveaway or find a trader until I get a clear answer.

A. They were free for 2014's Halloween event, however they were purchasable for a limited time on the Humble Store! It only lasts from from September 4 at 10am Pacific through September 6 at 10am Pacific 2015.
