Main
Firstly multi-accounting or multi –boxing is within the rules of the game and is a playstyle. For me I enjoy teaming up with real people but I also enjoy running content solo.

This guide is mostly for Windows PC uses as I am not sure how much can be used for other operating systems.

A note for steam uses as far as I know you need a separate steam account to run mutli-accounts here is a guide for running two clients[forum.wakfu.com]. Personally if you want to run +2 or more just download the stand-alone version here]download the stand-alone version here[secure.wakfu.com].

Windowed mode
I play in windowed mode so I can click through the various accounts at the bottom. I have increased my mouse speed to maximum. I do not use Alt+Tab as I usually have tons of other windows open.

Auto-run
Lets say there was a big map you had to run across if you are clicking run then switch windows whilst holding down the mouse sometimes you can continue running as long as you are not looking at that window and have not crashed into sometimes. You will of course only run in a straight line.

Toolbar settings
Put your toolbar short cuts in the same place, like I put the alamax teleport to scriptures at the far top right of bar 4 and then bread in the same place all characters. I also try to put all the same element in the same place for example make air tool bar 4 on all characters (if they have an air branch).

Log in order
In initiative order i.e. the fastest first.
About the follow part, after fight the first clients i Alt+Tab follow the last client (from 4Senses).

Turn up the sound
Another tip, turn the sound interface sound up high so when it’s your turn you hear nice and loud clicking on your turn. Be careful if you are in two different fights as you may only hear one sound.

My style
How I play 6 accounts. When no one is online or suitable for the content I want to run I will do the content with my team of 6. Then as real people get online I kick out more alts to eventually I am playing on one account with 5 real people. Having more accounts also gives your flexibility within the characters you can choose.

I also *always take people over gear, lets say my iop has the best equipment at level 125 and the real player damage is massively less than my iop, I will always take the real person *provided their damage is enough to do the content.

General tip
Also I would strongly suggest putting all your characters into different guilds.

Get the most of your accounts and time
As I am also a guild leader I have some new members but also many veteran friends.
Sometimes I split my accounts so I take a team to lunar dungeon and I playing 2 damage dealers, then I play 1-4 accounts doing something higher level like cactus dungeon.

Memory requirements
Also for me at least I give Wakfu (java.exe.) about 500MB-700 MB per client I currently have 8Gb of RAM. Please check out this guide for more information on this][forum.wakfu.com].

Wakfu uses java and will use more memory the longer it is used. So playing more than one account increases this problem. So you are somewhat limited to the amount of accounts that you can run. For me typically you know when you have been playing on your accounts to long when everything start to lag yet you see no difference in your internet connection.

Multiple monitors
I know some players use two/third monitors. Personally I play on the account on one single screen with another monitor on sometimes else like youtube, wakfu forums etc.

Professions
When doing professions such as gathering I strongly suggest using two accounts as mining for example take 10 seconds per collect, I am sure we can all manage to collect ore's on two characters with the 10 seconds and move around the mine.
If you have an area packed with stuff or a haven bag, other gathering professions like farming can also be done with 2 accounts. 5 seconds to react with the second char is still enough. Usually I let one character gather the seeds. The second follows and gathers the harvests. Given you need seeds at this point. A third character could even follow them replanting (from spacecooky).

Making your life even easier TOOLS
A great tool for Multi-accounting is +7 Taskbar Tweaker this will allow you on windows to re-arrange individual windows, lets say for a certain boss you want a certain class to go first OR lets say one character dies with no chance of revive you can move that window to the very end or wherever you want so its not in the way.

To clarify for any players wondering:

Multi-accounting is not against the rules of WAKFU. Players will not be penalised for doing such unless they are directly abusing the use of it, for example: farming merit points with alts.

To JerryDB:

I do understand that things are sometimes allowed without having to be explictly written down. I also know that "within the rules of the game" means it is found with-in the rules of the game, which in fact, it is not. You can say it's allowed, or tolerated, but you can not say it is "with-in the rules of the game". Nor can you say the Akama wants you to multibox, actualy, it seems like they would prefer you not to since they keep changing rules to make it more dificult for you to do. But you're right, next time I'll start my own topic, but if you're going to give a guide on how to cheat at a game, people should be made aware of what they are doing and that they may get baned. Trueth be told i only know of 1 person to be banned for this, and that ban was before they changed the rule on fighting your alt for merit, but who knows, they may still do it. Basicly, I just don't want people to read this and think it's how you're suposed to play.

Multiaccoung is perfectly within the rules of the game. You understand sometimes things are allowed without having to be explictly written down. You load up Wakfu you click play, you click again magic a second window comes up. Other games state "you can only have instance of this game running at once".

If you want to discuss mutli-account and its future please make your own topic, this is a guide related to the current state of the game.

Multiboxing is not within the rules of the game. No where in the rules does tell people it's fine or ok to do it. It's just over looked since it's a pain in the arse to deal with from a dev. standpoint. This is why they are slowly making changes to the game to try to cut back on the amount of multiboxing, like adding multimen (funny name huh?) or changing the rule that enables you to gain merit from killing someone useing the same ip address. In the end, maybe you don't abuse the multiboxing system, but some people do, and because of that the PvP Board doesn't mean anything. Voteing for a Gov is meaningless. If one of your alts is a fall guy, say hello to free easy merit, CP, and glory orbs. It takes away from the social aspect of the game. The more multiboxers you find... the more farming bots you find. The list goes on, but think about it, have you ever played a game as a single account user and found other people multiboxing increasing your game experiance?
