FNaF 2 strategy guide

A strategy guide for anyone having trouble. I go over several strategies, including ones for night 7! Also, like my last guide, this is a work in progress.

Nights 1-2 Strategy

Okay, so the strategy I personally use on night 1 and 2 is something I created myself. (Just putting that out there.)

So, if it's your first time playing, I reccomend listening to phone guy, as he basicaly tells you how to play. Now on with the actual guide, start off with just looking at the Toy animatronics, and occasionally flash the hall as I've heard Foxy can attack on the first night. Now around 2 AM The animatronics will start moving, just check on them in the cameras, and occasionally wind up the music box. It doesn't wind down as fast on this night, so you don't need to check it as often. It's pretty much the same on night 2, except this time if you need to check the cameras quick, just quickly move around the cameras and hold down the flashlight. Also, keep in mind that this night is when foxy is supposed to activate.

Nights 3-6 strategy

On these nights, don't even bother checking the cameras, as the music box winds down too fast.

On these nights the old guys become active, (Yes they CAN appear on night 2, just very rarely) so I recommend putting on the mask as soon as you leave the cameras. Now that I got that out of the way, it's time to actually say the strategy.

Check one of the vent lights, then flash the hall and check the other light.
Put up the camera and wind the music box. Lather rinse repeat.
If you see anyone in your vent lights, put on your mask and wait 'til you here a bumping sound and check that light. Also, listen for mangle's static, if you here it put on your mask until it stops.
And also, if Toy Bonnie leaves, don't bother checking the left vent light for a bit.

Night 7 strategies

This will cover the challenges in Night 7 not including 'Cupcake Challenge and 'Fazbear Feaver' because their stratigies are the same as Nights 3-6.

20/20/20/20
Don't bother checking the vent lights, as the old animatronics skip the lights. Just wind up the music box like always, and then flash the hall. Lather rinse repeat. It's as simple as that.
20/20/20/20 Consists of all the old animatronics on 20.

New and Shiny
This night has animatronics coming out of both vents, so you'll need to check both of them. Again start by winding the box, then check one light, flash the hall, check the other. Also, you will still need to put on the mask as soon as you leave the camera due to T. Freddy sometimes getting into your office before you can see him in the hall.
New and Shiny consists of all the Toy animatronics, Mangle and BB they are all set to 10.

Foxy Foxy
In Foxy Foxy you will be up against two opponents, Foxy and Mangle and they are both set to 20. Neither of these animatronics can teleport into your room so you dont have to put your mask on after lowering the camera. Whenever you here Mangle's static, put on the mask, and Foxy will only require to be flashed at with the flashlight. If Mangle is in the vent, put on your freddy mask or its game over. Mangle will enter the hallway but cannot hurt you from there so check the right vent, flash flashlight at Foxy and wind up box. Lather rinse repeat.
Foxy Foxy consists of Foxy and Mangle on 20.

Double Trouble
For this night, only check the right vent, as no animatronic comes out of the left one. Like all the nights wind up the stupid music box, then flash the hall and check the left vent. Sometimes Toy Bonnie may come in at just the wrong time, and run the music box out. It's annoying.
In Double Trouble, you will be facing Bonnie, Toy Bonnie, and Foxy. The Bonnies are set to 20 and Foxy is set to 5

Night of Misfits
The main thing to worry about on this night is BB. You'll also only need to check the left vent.
Start by...winding the music box, (Shocking I know) then Check left vent, flash hall repeat. Listen for Mangle's static, and also watch out for GF.
This night has BB and Mangle on 20, and GF on 10.

Ladies Night
Ladies Night has the exact same strategy as Double Trouble, with the exception of checking only the left vent instead of the right, but this time there's also Mangle to worry about, but you can here it when it's in the vent.
In Ladies Night there is Chica, Toy Chica, and Mangle and they are all set to 20.

Freddy's Circus
This night is actually a lot easier than it looks, you'll only need to check the left vent due to BB, and then Check the hall a lot. Wind the box, check the L. Vent, flash the hall a few times, then repeat. You'll also need to keep an eye out for Golden Freddy.
This night has both Freddys on 20, BB, GF, and Foxy on 10.

Golden Freddy mode strategy

This strat is a lot longer and more complex then the others, so it gets it's own section.

Start off by winding the music box until you hear that creepy music in the background. Once you hear it quickly pull down the camera and flash the hall. Then check the left vent first, then then flash the hall and check the right vent. Pull up the camera and start winding again. Pull down the camera and check he lights again. Repeat.

Now, on this night you want to keep the music box wound up as high as you can for the beginning of the night. This is why Toy Bonnie can be critical if he gets in the vents at the wrong time. Also, when T. Bonnie or the old animatronics are in the room and the lights are flickering, move over to the left vent and check that one first.

When I try it now toy bonnie has this weird glitch where he stalls for like 1-3 ssecs and usually that ends my night it's really annoying.

@ProPlayerRyan Make the music box your first priority, but make sure to hold your finger on ctrl and just press it a lot while you're out of the cams, you'll get used to it.

@ TEH BUTT I love your name, but anyways, i have. He is now my 2nd Priority, but i still cant tell to make the Music Box my number one (which it currently is) Or Foxy. I have recently been making it to 3 or 4AM VERY frequently, so i am getting closer, but i stilll cant beat it D:
